The Next Day

With the crying, and busy day Harry fell asleep, hugging his father. Who was also crying, Harry woke up latter still rapped in his fathers arms. He smiled at the feeling it brought him. He was complete.

Silently Harry wiggled his way out, and found the kitchen. Welcoming him by the sight he started something Helga taught him, to cook. Witch he really enjoyed, and so he made his favorite, Pancakes ale-mode. His creation, of pancakes, bacon, fruit, some pastries and his favorite pumpkin pasties. He set everything on the table and picked up a book to wait.

James woke to the smell of cooking, at first he noticed Harry wasn't there. He freaked out, thinking he is imagining all of this and hurried off to the kitchen.

The door swung opened to his astonishment the table was filled with fresh baked food. Breakfast was set. At the end of the table sat a raven haired boy reading a book.  'Secrets of the Darkest Arts'

James saw this was interesting for a eleven year old but was so contempt to just watch the young boy, no glasses, almost a carbon copy of James, but there was some difference. Like his height was taller, cheek bones were not of either Lily or James, his skin was darker. He was a healthy eleven year old boy.

"Staring isn't a nice thing to do," James felt his heart jump, it was his first time he had heard Harry speak. His voice was the sweetest sound, with a hint of arrogance.

"Sorry I just...." James said suddenly nervous.

"Breakfast?" Harry asked point to the table, as he set down the book.

"Did you make all of this?" He asked in disbelief, Harry only nodded filling his plate. The kitchen hasn't truly been used since Lily, but it made his day. They silently eat, James was too lost for words, the food was delicious and saver. Lily's cooking was the best but this almost topped it off. "This is amazing." James told his son.

A huge grin came to Harry's face "Thank you." James looked at the boy sitting in front of him. Straight back, a glint in his eye, blank face, a pureblood.

"I know you have questions, and I do too," James started nervously "May I ask you ask you some?"

"You already asked me a question." Harry stated with a smirk.

"Right" James laughed under his breath "Were were you, all these years, I can tell you are healthy, you were cared for."

Harry nodded "I was by five greatest people that I know, one of them saved me from some horrible people. I was beaten severely by people I thought were family, almost died six years ago. But I was saved they taught me how to live, love, even magic. They also did it to change the fates but I don't truly understand that yet."

James enjoyed hearing him speak, he couldn't say why but he did. "Would I be able meet them one day?"

"One day," he answered with a playful smile.

They continued with small questions here and there, Harry never giving him full answers. All the food was gone James realize "You got your letter?"

"Hogwarts?"

"Yes, how about me and you go shopping?" James asked

"You me you and I?" Harry cheekily said "I would enjoy that."

"Awesome, the toilet is over around the hall," James showed Harry were is it an went to flu call the Weasely. "Molly?"

"Oh yes dear? Morning."

"Morning, how is Eva?"

"Perfectly fine, is there something wrong?"

"No no things are fine I was just wondering if you could watch her for a day."

"Yes I would be delighted."

"Thank you." James finished the call, he just wants one day with Harry. Now what to do with every one else?

Harry quickly changed into some simple robes, not ones he was use to. There was nothing to it with these robes with the founders they wore wizarding robes before this time period and never up dated it. With a wave of his hand he was all set, he checked himself in the mirror making sure his mask was in place and walked out.

After wondering the same path he found his father in the living room. For a few seconds they each looked at each other, Harry standing at the door and James at the fireplace. Slowly Harry raised his eyebrow and James realized he was staring.

"sorry it's just not in my wildest dreams did I think, I would never get you back, or let alone see you...." He trailed off "anyways I thought some school shopping and then some ice cream was in order."

"That sounds good, I already saw the list so were good." Harry sated forgetting he didn't share the part of edict memory.

"Sorry?"

"Oh, I have a magically edict memory I remember everything thing that I see, touch, hear and experience" James' eyes went wider at the knowledge, then a bit more when the last time he saw Harry.

"Then yo-you remember..." James couldn't bring himself to say it but Harry knew and nodded giving him an answer. "Well, we better be off busy day then tonight you will meet Evangeline, again." He said with wincing as he mentioned her. Harry questioned this but didn't ask. He then followed his father to the floo room.

This was one way of travel Harry didn't like, not one bit. Harry stumbled out of the fire place after his father. It was a old, small room bustling with people here and there. James reached out to Harry's small hand and he took it leading him to a brick wall.

Harry couldn't keep it in, he was shocked once again. Not many people were here when he was with Merlin but now it was full. He was gaping at a street filled with people. His father seemed to notice and laughed "welcome to Diagon Alley!" He said to Harry.

They continued on, buying books and other things Harry needed. Including some clothes, a broom to Harry's surprise. Once it became lunch time the two adventured over to somewhere to get lunch.

"So I- um you might be wondering with all the questions and looks we have been getting." He looked at his boy bright green eyes like his mum stared back at him. What shocked him was that Harry was laughing at him.

"Father, I already know. The story and everything about my twin." Harry told him.

"But how? You... I thought you were... Where were you?" James stammered.

"The ones who raised me at first hated me but then these people saved me they taught me everything about my story even magic. As I promised before you will meet them one day." Harry said and James only nodded unconvinced.

"Now how about a wand?"

"I already have one but if your okay with it couldn't hurt to have another one" even if I don't like wands, Harry added in his head, his father gave him a quizzical look but beamed.

"You have to get one from Ollivander's. Though not many have two wands but wouldn't hurt to try." James added, so after they finished their ice cream Harry was lead to the wand shop.

The bell sounded when the two came in to an old dirty shop filled with boxes everywhere. "Young mister Potter I have heard many stories about you. Even that wand of yours, one of a kind very powerful indeed. Lord Potter yes you came in a few days ago with your daughter mm."

"How did you know?"

"Know or knew young heir is it a wand you seek?"

"Yes sir" Harry responded, how this person knew about him or his wand was unnerving.

James sat down on a stool on the side watching. Harry tried one after the other but Ollivander was not giving in. After the 40th wand failed he stopped.

"Mm I wonder..." He croaked and then went to the back, returning back with another long box. At this James perked up it was the same one presented to Evangeline which didn't work on her. Even though Dumbledore insisted it was hers.

The box opened held by the old man Harry grabbed the Holly wood in his hands. A burst of energy surged through Harry it felt right just as his other one did.

"Curious...very curious..."

Harry looked back to his father and the to Ollivander "whats curious sir?"

"I remember every wand I've ever sold, young heir. It so happens that the phoenix whose tail feather resides in your wand gave another feather... just one other. It is curious that you should be destined for this wand when your sister is said to have that scar." Ollivander told Harry to which he knew why but they didn't know at least his father didn't.

"We expect great things from you young heir, only you can do the impossible" Ollivander sang as they left his shop.

"Well what a busy day, I say we return home and then we will have Evangeline joins us." James said as they made their way back to the cottage after their fill on ice cream.
