Grieving never stops

It has been a hard number of years, for James Potter, he gave his daughter anything she asked for. On top of that she is the most famous person in the wizarding world, so there is no brake form the reminder of his wife and son.

The young five year old came pouncing down the stairs of the manor "Daddy I want to go."

"Eva please you know what day it is, the answer is no." James stated to her, she was advanced for her age but not with magic they're suppose to have burst of magic but not a lot has happened when she hit five. She pouted in his arms, he really wants to say no to stick up, thinking how Lily would know what to do with this situation. "Honey I just ask for one day to spend at the house, I have told you this before."

"But I want to go, all you do is be sad all day" she told him "Mrs. Weasley could take me."

He set her down, there was no way to tell her no, she never took it as an answer "Fine, but you need to learn to listen next time."

She didn't like that tone from her father but always pushed it off because she could use her dead brother line that always gets him. Evangeline ran off to the flue and disappeared, only a second latter James fell to the floor crying not knowing what to do with her. He was also crying for the ones he missed most dearly and lost.

Far from the Potter cottage and the weeping Potter was a small boy, he was gardening in his Aunts flower bed out back. It was a tiring day but he could never stop. If he did he would be beaten and with out food again. The five year old was in all tense and purposes a slave to his Aunt and Uncle.

"Freak why is the dishes not done?" the young boy jumped as his uncle yelled at him "we will have guests Freak I told you to get dinner going!"

"S-S-Sorry Uncle" the young boy said running into the kitchen "I will start now," he said starting to busy him with the meal that was to be made. This young boy is something extraordinary for a five year old, he knows how to cook meals that are heavenly, read and understand books some adults don't comprehend, even remember things in his life from when he was just a baby. Though at night he cries not knowing why his parents had to die according to them to be here, thanks to his Aunt and Uncle he doesn't even know his name.

"Freak it better not be burnt" his Aunt warned him, with a yes Aunt he finished up dinner and left desert in the oven to keep warm. It was right on time when he finished when the door bell rang, the boy ran to his cupboard under the stairs, his Uncle locking him in then opened the front door.

The young boy stayed as silent as he could, he was small and frail, you could see his bones in his ribs. A big baggy shirt from Dudley, his cousin, hung on his shoulders small black frame glasses sat on his nose. He didn't know how long it has been but shouting start to issued out of the living room and it didn't sound good. He couldn't tell but he heard something about the cupboard.

Then it happened, his door flung opened, a disgruntled woman stood in the door way looking down upon him.  "Harry?"

"Yes M'am" a small voice said.

"Can you please come out?" the women asked the boy shook his head fear emanating in his eyes. "Why not dear. No one will hurt you."

"I am not allowed to go out of the cupboard when there is guests, Freak must stay in side. Freak must listen to his betters, not contaminate normal's. Freak is freak and deserves to be treated like one." The women fell to her knees as she hear the boy speak his mantra, it was to unreal.

"I have heard enough, Honey bring the boy out" A voice sounded. The women's heart broke as she saw the boy flinch and whimper as she reached in. the room fell silent at the sight of the young boy. "This is not right. I came here in the intentions to promote you but clearly I have been wrong. Victoria lets go."

"You can't take him, I call you Kidnapping!" The family stopped they knew nothing could help this boy right now, Vernon got fired as the family left, hoping that they could get the police here in time.

The young boy was confused he did everything that is asked for a Freak but still getting a beating. He has never seen his Uncle this angry before. He was on the floor curled up in a ball. Kick after Kick he endured, soon the young boy didn't know is how long he could last.

He heard his Aunt try to stop this, but was to afraid for her and her son. Not wanting to get the beating turn on them, she stopped.

After what felt like hours, the young boy felt something in him snap. It was so powerful and strong it threw both his Uncle and Aunt, with his cousin and everything in the room to the closest wall, leaving only the small boy in the center of the room.

He was hanging on by a thread wanting to go somewhere else, wanted a family to be loved. In all the pain tears came down his face, there was nothing more to hold onto.

A bright light filled the room, a young man appeared in the room. He looked about and saw covered in his own blood a small boy in the center of the room. There was so much magic in one place, he came down to this world the see what might be happening. They locked eyes for a split second then his bright green eyes fell behind pale eye lids.

The man saw what had happened five years ago but hasn't checked on the boy. It was his stupid mistake, but quickly he scooped up the boy and vanished in a flash of light.
