I believe

I believe in dreaming,
to dream sweet dreams and fly on those dreams.
I believe in justice,
to right wrongs and stand tall on your values.
I believe in trial and error,
to fail but get back up and do it right like you never failed.
I believe in learning to trust,
to trust friends as not all people are out for your broken heart.
I believe in forgiveness,
to forgive but never forget as you may need to know the lesson if it happens again.
I believe in dark and light,
to be in the dark searching for the light as it goes away with laughter.
I believe in sadness,
to be sad and not let others see as they would be sad to.
I believe in hiding,
to hide your feelings to save the ones you love.
I believe in life and death,
to keep breathing for those who need you even if you're dead inside.
I believe in anger,
to keep anger away from others and bottle it up until you cry at night.
I believe in help,
to cry out in silent pain as you help others who don't appreciate it.
I believe in hurt,
to be hurting as you're healing someone else,
and for no one to know how to help your hurting heart and brain.
I believe in light,
for at the end of your pain,
you're helping people you love, and that makes you feel needed.
