Lucy's (POV)

At six months pregnant it's alittle difficult to move but not too bad. I'm glad my morning sickness is done and over with.

Porlyusica says that the baby is strong and healthy. Natsu and I are still following our bet on whether or not the baby is a girl.

What ever the gender they are already a handful. They kick me all night... He or she really plays around with my bladder like it's a toy.

I got up for the thirtieth time in the past hour to pee. Natsu saw me get up and he followed behind me.

"Where you headed" Natsu asked.

"The bathroom, chill." I closed the door and did my business.

Natsu doesn't let me go anywhere. I'm not allowed in public because I might attacked, and I'm not allowed to go to the guild because the chances of me getting caught in the middle of a fight, is four out of five.

I opened the door only to find Natsu standing there.

"Natsu... Did you think I'd climb out of the widow or something... I tried and I didn't fit." I joked.

Natsu crossed his arms and gave me the 'not funny' look.

"It was just a joke babe..."

"I didn't find it all that funny." Natsu remarked.

"What happened to the happy cheery Natsu I know... Always getting in fights and never taking things seriously?"

"He got married and became a father." Natsu answered with a 'duh' tone.

"If I knew this is what you'd be like ... I would've been allot more careful."

Natsu gave me a look of disapointment.

"I'm just being responsible." Natsu commented.

"Responsible or overprotective?"

"Luce, I..." Natsu silenced and looked away from me.

I walked up to him and rubbed his shoulders.

"Your going to be a father soon... Natsu, I love you but, have a little faith. In me and in yourself."

"I know it's just... In three months we'll have this little one and I'm not ready... I can't help but feel that I'll fail at being a father." Natsu turned and rubbed my swollen belly.

"Natsu your very... annoying... Here I am six months pregnant with our child and there you are being the overthinker."

I tried to keep it in but my anger hit it's limit.

'I'm sick and tired of this bullshit!'

Natsu's  (POV)

Lucy pushed me away and she looked so mad like she'd burst into flames.

"How do you think I feel? I'm the one carrying this child wich means I have the hardest job of all. I need to birth this kid into existence! The fun part is of over..."

"We both have our roles to play in this kids life. So don't you think about failing because if you do... Not only have you failed as a father but I've failed as a wife." Lucy started to cry.

"And I will never let our family fall to peices!" Lucy exclaimed.

'I'm such an idiot... All this time I never even knew how she felt. I only cared about how I felt.'

I mentally gave myself a slap to the face. I'm a horrible person for making my wife cry... Even more so, my pregnant wife.

I wrapped my arms around my Lucy and the tears I never knew existed started to fall. Our connection has gotten allot stronger with this pregnancy.

"I'm such a fool. I shouldn't have these thoughts."

"No you shouldn't... But when you do, I want you to tell me. I want to know everything that's on your mind. I don't want to have to read your thoughts." Lucy sobbed into my chest.

"We are in this together, right? I refuse to raise this baby alone, got that!" Lucy cried.

"Yes mam." I swayed back and forth still holding Lucy in my arms.

"Make it up to me and get me some ice cream." Lucy pouted.

"Anything for you... What flavor?" I asked walking away and into the kitchen.

"Vanilla." She answered following me. Lucy sat at the table and she rubbed her belly.

'How could I have such terrible thoughts... With a loving wife and a baby on the way everything should just be so clear and yet... It's not.' I thought.

I made Lucy a bowl of ice cream then watched her scarf it down.

'Neither of us know what to expect. Lucy got the short end of the stick and has to bare our child. I'd gladly take on the task but sadly that's not how it works.'

"Since we got it all out... Can I go to the guild... please..." Lucy begged using her big brown eyes against me.

"No, don't look at me like that... No, my answer is no... No...No." I rambled.

Lucy continued to torture me with her beautiful and adorable eyes until I broke.

"Okay fine! But your sitting at the bar! With Mira and Erza! Where you will least likely be hit by a flying table. Got it!" I demanded.

"Aye sir!" Lucy shouted with glee. "Can we go now?"

"Sure just give me a second, okay?"

"Yay! We're going to the guild baby. That's right your daddy finally broke!" Lucy patted her belly and stood up from her seat with a smile but a look of pain soon took over.

Lucy clutched her stomach and sat back down. She started to moan. I felt a sudden tingle in my belly.

"Luce, what's wrong?!" I asked worryingly.

"It... It hurts." She said calmly.

"What hurts?"

"My side it feels like I'm being stabbed. The baby... Something isn't right." She said breathing a little heavier.

"Let's get to the guild." I picked up Lucy and carried her outside.

I released my wings and flew to the guild with Lucy in my arms. When we arrived we sent the exceeds to retrieve Porlyusica. Lucy and I were in the infirmary waiting for her arrival.She got there and checked on Lucy.

She sighed and then looked at us. "You called me all this way..."

"Sorry for the trouble." Lucy said.

"It's alright dear... It's just Braxton Hicks, you'll be fine." Porlyusica stated.

"Braxton Hicks?"

"They are like contractions only they happen during the pregnancy not the birthing. It's normal. Just wait until the real ones... You'll regret ever getting her pregnant." Porlyusica gave off an evil chuckle.

I felt alittle nervous, is it really that bad?

"Don't worry Natsu... I'll try not to punch you then." Lucy joked.

"Not funny."

Lucy giggled and then stood.

"Should you be standing."

"I'm all good. Now, I'm gonna go downstairs and order me and the baby some fire chicken and a strawberry shake." Lucy pumped her fist into the air.

"Okay momma, calm down." I chuckled.

"I'm gonna eat until I drop." She said rubbing her hands together.

"Yeah, no. Cause I'll be there to stop you."

"Try it, I dare you." Lucy said in a frighteningly polite tone.

'She must be taking some lessons from Erza.'

Just three more months to go and I'll have another beautiful girl in my life. Hopefully she takes after Luce. And maybe alittle after me... But mostly her.
