Natsu's  (POV)

It's been thirty minutes and Lucy still hasn't arrived. I'm worried... What if someone kidnapped her..

"Calm down Flame head she'll be here." Gray tried to comfort me. Keyword 'tried'.

I'm shaking with fear.

'Maybe she changed her mind.'

'Maybe she doesn't love me.'

My chest started to hurt I rubbed the spot just above my heart.

'Where are you Luce?'

I saw Levy show up with out Erza... And without Luce. She walked over to the master and whispered something into his ear. I tried to listen in but the pain in my chest made it difficult. The look on masters face afterward gave me my answer.

'She changed her mind... She doesn't love me.'

The master nodded and Levy disapeared. He stood up and walked towards Gray and I.

"It seems there was some trouble with wardrobe... The ceremony will be on its way soon." The master returned to his seat.

'He lied. There is no wardrobe malfunction... She just never wanted this... She never wanted me.'

As these negative thoughts filled my head I failed to see a certain red haired girl walking down the aisle... Followed by a beautiful blonde... Lucy.

Erza smiled and stood in her spot to the left of me an Gray. My eyes stayed on Lucy. The most beautiful smile painted her face. She reached me at the end of the aisle after what seemed like hours.

"Sorry I took so long... I forgot something." She whispered.

"I don't care... Now that you're here."

Lucy's  (POV)

[Before Natsu's panic attack. The confrontation between Erza and Lucy.]

"Just a minute ago. What are you doing Lucy? Natsu's waiting for you... Are you?"

"I couldn't do it Erza. Not..." I could barely speak due to me being out of breath.

"How could you... He loves you Lucy! I thought you loved him too."

'What is she talking about?'

"I do love him. Erza..."

"Your getting married whether you want to or not!"

'I think this is a misunderstanding.'

"Erza wait..."

"You don't understand."

"Lucy it's okay to be afraid. But just know that if you leave him he..."

"Leave him? What are you talking about? I'm not leaving Natsu!"

"Wait what but you said..."

"I had something I wanted to give him. I forgot it here so I came to get it. I wasn't ready because I didn't have it with me. What made you think I was going to leave him?"

"Lucy... Next time finish your sentences at least and not leave us with 'I can't... I'm not ready.' Your...  Stress in a dress you know that?"

"Sorry. Erza, this is a nice chat and all but I think I should go get married now."

"Oh right!"

Erza and I ran to the ceremony when we arrived I was out of breath while Erza looked un-phased. I took three long breaths to calm myself then began my journey down the aisle. I saw Natsu, he had a look of heartbreak for a brief moment till he locked eyes with me. He looked happier than ever I can't help but feel the same. I have long waited this day.

I reached the end of the aisle and whispered to him. "Sorry I took so long... I forgot something."

"I don't care... Now that you're here."

We stood before the priest hand in hand. He started of the long awaited ceremony. It got to the part where we said our vows.

Natsu was first.

"Luce, since that first day back in Hargeon I knew there was something weird about you. I had that feeling that told me to never let you go. I'm glad that I listened to it. It wasn't till later did I realize that weird feeling I felt wasn't caused by your presence but by my feelings towards you."

I couldn't help but smile at his words.

"I was always too afraid to tell you... Afraid that I could loose the best friend any one would be lucky to have. You've been with me through some pretty rough times... I'd gladly do it all over again. I didn't know what love was before I met you... I'm glad an idiot like me could learn to feel such happiness. Today is the day I claim you as my wife, my best friend, and my future. I promise to stand by you through thick and thin to the end and even after. Because my love for you... Will never die."

"Natsu..."

"Lucy if you would, cite your vows." The priest said and I nodded.

"I... Uh acctually have something for you first Natsu..." Erza handed me the envelope from earlier.

"About a week after I joined Fairytail I wrote a letter to the Future me predicting what would happen. About half a year ago I was looking through my old journal and I found it. When I opened it I smiled and thought that someday I should read it to you..."

I pulled the letter out and cleared my throat.

"Dear Future Lucy,

A week ago I would've never imagined that I would be a part of such a wonderful Guild. A week of being a Fairytail member and they already treat me like they've known me for years. There's this guy... He's kind of the reason why I'm here. I can't help but think that he's someone really important to me. I predict that in the future Natsu Dragneel and I will become the greatest of friends and we will be inseparable. I predict that we will go on many adventures and create such wonderful memories. I hope my prediction comes true. Some how I know that it will.

Sincerely,       Lucy Heartfilia."

"She was right. After all these years we have become the best of friends... But we she was also wrong because we have become something much more. When I first met you I admit I thought you were crazy. But crazy was just what I needed. We fought side by side and you taught me things that I never thought I needed to know. How to stand up for my friends and family. How to stand tall and fight and never give in even if I'm at my weakest point... I loved you the moment that charm spell back in Hargeon broke... I just didn't realize it till I saw that you were the very person I wanted to protect. We both have a dark past that cannot be explained but the past doesn't really matter when I've got you. Nothing matters but our future. Natsu I promise to live life to the fullest with you and to go on many adventures. I promise to love you and get stronger for you... Because my love for you is something that can never be broken."

"With these vows let it be known that the love these two souls share shall become one. If you could... with the rings..."

Gray handed Natsu a box and Erza handed me a box containing Natsu's ring.

He slipped the rose gold wedding band onto my finger and I did the same to him.

"With this ring, I take you Lucy Heartfilia, to be my wife."

"With this ring, I take you Natsu Dragneel, to be my husband."

"Natsu dragneel, do you take Lucy Heartfilia to be your life long partner... In sickness and in health, till death do you part?"

Natsu paused for a moment at looked at the priest slightly annoyed.

"I mean, I guess that's what I want, after all I said just then. Did you even listen old man?" Natsu asked.

"Natsu! He's saposed to ask you that!"

"Oh sorry Luce. I've never been married before... But I don't plan on doing it again either." He smiled. "I do."

"And do you, Lucy Heartfilia take Natsu Dragneel to be your life long partner... In sickness and in health, till death do you part?" The priest smiled.

"I do."

"By the will of the heavens above I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride." He ended.

"FINALLY! God I love you." Natsu pulled me close and dipped me holding my waist and my one leg stretched out.

"I love you too."

His lips met mine in a long passionate kiss. Time seemed to stop for this one kiss.

Natsu's  (POV)

Mr. and Mrs. Dragneel...

I kissed Luce like there was no tomorrow. I heard a thousand cheers from our guests but it seems that our kiss muffled the sound a bit. As I finally released Lucy from our long kiss I couldn't help but smile.

"What?" Lucy asked innocently.

"I've just always wanted to meet you."

"What do you..."

"Mrs. Dragneel." In no time my lips reconnected with hers but in a much shorter kiss.

I released her for a second time. She stood up straight and chuckled.

"Mr. Dragneel..." She sang. "Time for cake. And dancing."

"I'll leave the dancing to you. You leave the cake to me."

"Come on." She pulled me.

The whole party migrated back to the Guild to celebrate. The girls decorated the Guild with flowers and balloons with streamers. It was the perfect wedding. Mira was the entertainment, Erza baked the cake, and we all just had the greatest time.

But I still had one last surprise for Lucy before the night is over.
