Yuan**

"You know how I treat your brother? He's PRECIOUS and YOU!!! YOU INGRATEFUL little bas....."

Right a drunken sister is what we have right now. I don't even know why did she have to drink. Ren is just listening to her while Shen Yu is sitting while eating and watching some dramas on her phone. Ren looked at me and smirked a little.

"You got some beautiful women here bro. I felt a little left out. How can you stand being with them without having flirtatious ideas?." Ren said.

Shen Yu looked at him with a murderous intent as he said it. I know what a beauty was. Also, I know how to know if a girl is beautiful. It's just that I lost my trust in this kind of thing. I even think that I can't trust anyone's appearance if I would check their beauty.

"Don't even think of laying a finger on Sister Xia. She is also your sister, so respect her."

"Fine! Wait how bout Ms. Mina or Lulu or Zhi Zhi?" He said teasingly.

"Just help me get Xia in Shen Yu's room. It's gonna be loud tomorrow."

We pick Sister Xia up and put her in Shen Yu's room. I asked Shen Yu to sleep with her so she wouldn't be alone when she woke up. I Then teasingly Ren ran to our room and locked it. He just shouted after he entered the room.

"You can sleep with the cat on the sofa! It's not even your first time, so it'll be okay!" I looked at Shen Yu who's still watching dramas on her phone. I tried to open the door but It was locked so I went to the kitchen to get the spare keys but it wasn't there.

I sigh heavily while thinking. I looked at Shen Yu and she looked back at me. She smiled at me so I smiled back. Since she's gonna sleep in her room with Xia, it'll be fine. I can sleep on the sofa by myself.

I saw her turn her phone off, stand up, and go to her room. I guess she is going to sleep now. I made some coffee to drink before sleeping. There are a ton of things that I need to think about. Now that many know that I am fine, I guess I need to think about explaining myself to them.

I was thinking and looking far when suddenly Shen Yu stood beside me. She is looking down at me holding pillows and blankets. I looked at her and stared at her blankly.

"Move, I wanna sleep now you know." She said.

"Aren't you going to sleep inside your room?"

"And you here? NO! I'm staying with you!"She said.

She lay down on the sofa and made my leg her pillow. Then she looked at me pouting.

"What?" I asked.

"You should caress my head until I fall asleep. I'm your cat after all."

I giggled and petted her head. I envy this girl. She is sleeping like nothing is wrong in the world. She just sleeps like a total cat.

"You should lay down too you know. I know you have a lot of things that you should think about but still sleep. Let's think about those tomorrow."

Then she put her hands on my head and kissed my forehead. Then she looked me in the eye and gave me signs to rest. I just closed my eyes as I smiled, I put the coffee mug on the table, lay down beside her, and slept while hugging her.

Ren**

I took a peek at the door and saw them sleep together. I closed the door and looked outside the window. What I feel right now is not that important. Yuan took years in this state. I think I might have a big fear like Yuan. I hope there will be a Shen Yu for me.

I am happy that Yuan and Shen Yu were together. I am thankful to her since Yuan is coming back to himself after years of hiding in the dark. I guess we are brothers since we suffer in the same way.

I slapped my face to come to my senses. I turned my phone on and checked who had messaged me. I can't check it since I left it at my house. I saw Yuan's messages, Shen Yu, Marco, and Sam. I guess I have new people caring for me.

I smiled bitterly and looked outside. Tomorrow will be a great day. A New Day for me. I sat down on the bed and closed my eyes. I can't sleep while lying down. I remember when Mom closed the door of my room and stuck me for days.

"Mom, why did you do that?" I asked.

"Don't defend him, he is the one who hides from us. Did you think we were joking around when you told us he's dead?"

"It's because of you! He chose to live by himself because you broke him. He's happy with Hailey but you take her away from him just because you love me as your younger son. If you didn't talk to her Mom about whatever it is he wouldn't think of jailing himself away from us. I felt sorry for what you did." I said while crying.

She looked at me as she shrugged the topic and closed the door.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"I'll lock this door until you think straight. You're being nonsense now." She said as she locked the door.

"Now you're going to do to me what you did to him."

She walked away from the door as she locked it. For days my Dad didn't do anything. They asked me to eat but I refused it. I felt defeated and depressed for being alone in those few days. I didn't even know that the days had passed.

So when the door opened up, I was happy to see Yuan. I looked at Dad and he was just staring at me. He didn't even say anything. He changed a lot. He is not the best, humble, and kind Dad that I used to remember.

How come my parents decided to lock me up? How come my Dad did;t even react? How come they aren't happy to see Yuan doing fine? Isn't it great that he is alive and well than being below the ground? I cried there thinking of everything that happened.

The next day, Yuan put me in the store with Marco and Sammy to serve there. I remember the drunk lady last night. Well, she is with me right now and I was partnered with her.

When she woke up earlier, she glared at me. I wasn't her enemy but she thought I was taking Yuan from her. I can't even believe that Yuan has this many beautiful girls around her.

When I arranged the newly arrived books, she looked at me and stood next to me.

"Sister Xia, I am working right now. Is there anything that I can do for you?" I asked.

"Nothing. I just need to be here in case you do anything that will hurt Yuan. I need to keep an eye on you so you can't do that to Yuan." She said.

I just shrugged it off and continued on what I was doing. After that, Marco needed to go on break so I stayed with Xia and Zhi at the counter. Then a familiar face entered the store.

"Hailey? What are you doing here?" I asked shockingly.

"Can we talk? I need to see Yuan please do me a favor and take me to where he is." He said.

"I can't, I already cut ties with you. For me we are strangers." I looked away as I said it.

I don't want to do anything for her. Even if she is an important person for me. I can't just do it since it's all about my brother. I can take anything that she throws at me but I will not do anything that will make my brother sad. I refused solidly to her but she kept on talking to me.

"Oh come on Ren. If you won't help me I'll call your mother and .."

"And what? Call her. I think she owes me a slap."

Sister Xia cut her off. Xia walks towards her and puts her hands on her back.

"Girl, I don't know what you want. But you can't hurt my little brothers you know. I don't care if Mother or their Mother, but they owe a slap that I need to repay." Xia said.

"What is happening?" Marco said after coming back from his break.

"I am not scared of you of whatever connection you have. If my Mom backs down to you, I am different. I'll be waiting outside Ren."

Hailey got out as soon as she said it. Then Xia calmed down and smiled back at us. She looked at me and smiled at me.

"Yuan is my brother, so that will make you my little brother too. So if anything happens, then don't forget to tell me. Your big sister is here for you."

She smiled at me at made me feel protected. For once, I was loved by a big sister that I didn't think of that I needed. Then she looked at Marco.

"Marco, please call Yuan and tell him the situation."

"Okay."

Marco called Yuan and told him what happened. Sister Xia kept on checking me if I was okay. The tense vibe that she is giving me from last night and this morning has become a caring feeling.

She also keeps on looking outside to check if Hailey is still there.

Then Shen Yu entered the store crying. I feel anxious to ask what happened. Sister Xia hugged her to comfort her. I feel something is not right.

"What happened?" I asked.

She looked at me and started to cry.

"Yuan is gone. I think she went somewhere with Hailey. I ask him where will they go but the call cuts off."

"It's okay Yuan can get through this. Let's trust him." Sister Xia said.

That day, Yuan didn't come home. We can't reach his phone and Hailey's phone. Even the next day. It's like they were disappeared in a thick air.

We start to worry. Shen Yu cried for days and kept on going back to Hailey's place to look for Yuan, but we couldn't see him even after looking for him so hard.

"Hey, Yuyu! You need to eat."

I knocked at Shen Yu's door but she didn't want to come out. I am worried that this will continue. Then my phone rang.

"Hello? Yen this is him. WHAT?? WHERE? okay, we'll be there."

I rushed to ShenYu's room and knocked as hard as I could.

"Hey, Cat! I found Yuan! He's in a hospital. Let's go!"

The door quickly opened and Shen Yu's face was in a mess. I told her to quickly wash her face and we went to the hospital.

Both of us were scared that it might be like a year ago. When we found out that Yuan died. I stepped on the Information desk and asked where the patient named Yuan was.

She brought us to a room and when we entered, we saw Yuan full of wounds in his arms and legs. And beside him is Hailey who is terrified. She was shaking while sitting there and staring at a blank space.

Shen Yu silently went to Yuan and cried there while holding his hands. I asked Hailey what happened.

"What happened? You're shaking. Are you okay?"

"He... He looked... He just looked at it,...."
