The back of Wei Ying's legs hit the bed and he stops.

He looks at Lan Zhan's flushed face and kiss swollen lips and asks seductively, "Lan Zhan... do you like it when I kiss you like this?"

"Mn."

"Hanguang Jun... are you hard for me right now?"

"Mn."

"Lan Er gege... do you want me to make you come right now?"

Lan Zhan doesn't answer, he captures Wei Ying's lips again and slides his tongue inside touching, stroking...sucking.

{A/N}

Lan Zhan's hands hurriedly try to undo the belts on Wei Ying's robes....but the younger man stops him.

Wei Ying breaks the kiss and puts a hand on Lan Zhan's chest and pushes him away a little bit.

Lan Zhan stares dumbly at his husband.
Wei Ying smiles mischievously, "Heal yourself. I can't have my husband at any disadvantage before going into battle. Join me once you are done cultivating....I need you to be at your best tomorrow. "

'What just happened?... I thought he wanted me to... Why did he kiss me like that?...Why did he lead me on???' Lan Zhan doesn't understand.

Then the Yiling patriarch turns around, discards his top night robes and gets on bed alone....shirtless.
"Hanguang Jun... this is a payback for all the times you left me high and dry." Wei Ying finishes with an evil smile and winks at his husband.

Lan Zhan looks on, as Wei Ying , looking totally unaffected turns away from him and falls asleep.

Lan Zhan gets an eyeful of his husband's beautifully sculpted milky white back... which he can't get his hands on at the moment.
'You truly are Yiling patriarch when it comes to getting revenge.' Lan Zhan thinks and walks to the other side of the room... He calms himself.. which proves to be very difficult since he can't get Wei Ying's tempting body out of his mind.... But eventually he succeeds and begins to work on restoring his spiritual energy.

*Lanling*
*Jiang Cheng's jingshin*

Having decided to leave for Yunmeng the next morning, Jiang Cheng sends a message to Meng Yao to have a meeting before he leaves. To his surprise, instead of asking him to meet at the hall Meng Yao accompanied by Jin Ling visit Jiang Cheng at his room. Jiang Cheng is a little surprised and taken aback but quickly recovers.

The two men sit in front of each other with Jin Ling sitting next to Meng Yao.

"Clan leader Cheng, I want to personally apologize to you for refusing your request for sending men to patrol Yunmeng." Meng Yao says as if accessing the damage his refusal has caused.

"Clan leader, I don't want to discuss it further if it's OK with you. The reason I asked to meet you is to simply thank you for your hospitality and to inform you that I will be leaving for Yunmeng tomorrow. I would like Jin Ling to come with me." Jiang Cheng informs.

"You never said anything about taking Jin Ling earlier when we spoke. What has brought about this change in plans?" Meng Yao asks curiously while a look of surprise crosses the young boy's face.

"I thought about what you said. Wei Wuxian is not stupid enough to set foot in Yunmeng. But since he holds a grudge against Jin Ling and you he might attack Lanling. I would feel more at ease with my nephew next to me safe and sound." Jiang Cheng pauses and adds in a superior tone, "I have informed my house staff to make sure my arrival is not leaked to anyone. Wei Wuxian will think Jin Ling is still in Lanling. This way you too won't have to worry about Jin Ling getting hurt."

'So this is why Jiang Cheng's letter asked the house staff to not leak information about his arrival.' Meng Yao thinks to himself feeling relieved.

When Meng Yao doesn't say anything, Jiang Cheng asks, his temper and tone rising , " What is it Clan leader? Am I not even allowed to take a son to his mother's home?"

Meng Yao smiles, "I am sorry... I got a bit distracted. Of course you can take Jin Ling to Yunmeng." Then he turns to the young boy and informs, "Jin Ling get your things in order. You are going to Yunmeng tomorrow."

With this both clan leaders bow to each other and Meng Yao leaves with a smug smile.

*Next Morning*

As planned Jiang Cheng and Jin Ling leave Lanling even before the sun has risen. They leave without saying their farewells to the other two clan leaders.
With only a handful of loyal subject Jiang Cheng and Jin Ling start their journey towards Lotus Cove.

"Uncle why do we have to leave this early?" Jin Ling cribs.
"Stop being a princess. We need to be at Lotus Cove early." Jiang Cheng says in his usual borderline angry tone.

"Uncle, why are there only so few sect members accompanying us?" The young boy asks curiously.
"We are being discreet. We don't want Wei Wuxian... that ungreatful man... to know that you are in Lotus Cove." Jiang Cheng explains.

"Why?" Jin Ling doesn't understand why his whereabouts are important.
"Because he is dangerous." Jiang Cheng answers.
"He will not harm me." the young boy says confidently.
"How can you be so sure?" Jiang Cheng asks already knowing the answer.
"Uncle... I know that there is bad blood between you and Senior Mo... I mean Wei Wuxian...but if he did have anything against me I would be dead by now." Jin Ling explains.
"But things are different now that you stabbed him....and even if he doesn't Wangji would definitely harm you." Jiang Cheng retorts.

"Hanguang Jun would never go against Senior..Wei. He is an outstanding cultivator... The best I have seen... " Jin Ling trails off when he realizes what he just said.

"Jin Ling, I never knew you thought so highly of Lan Wangji... If I remember correctly, you used to hate him." Jiang Cheng says fringing annoyance.

The younger man gulps and bites his lips before saying in a low voice , "Hanguang Jun saved me too. I saw him fight. He is magnificent."

'Lan Wangji... first you stole my brother and now you have even impressed my nephew... why do you always come for my family???' Jiang Cheng thinks remorsefully.

There is an awkward silence for a few seconds as neither of them speak.

Fairy who is walking behind the carriage barks.
Jin Ling puts his head outside and sushes her.
"What's wrong with Fairy!" Jiang Cheng asks irritatedly.
"I don't think she likes walking behind the carriage. Can she come inside?" Jin Ling asks hopefully. He knows that his uncle is very fond of the animal too.
Jiang Cheng nods and Jin Ling beckons the spiritual dog inside.
Jin Ling gets busy playing with it.

"Jin Ling, once we reach Lotus Cove don't leave your room. Aunty Yenay will get you anything you need. And instruct Fairy to be quiet." Jiang Cheng instructs.

When Jin Ling looks at his uncle questioningly, Jiang Cheng discreetly puts a silencing charm around their carriage and says in a serious tone, "Jin Ling, you are right. Wei Wuxian will never hurt you. He loved your mother too much. There are things that have come to my notice that are making me question if the things that happened in the past were indeed his fault or was there something else... something that I missed."

"What are you trying to tell me uncle?" The young boy asks his brows knitting together.

"Jin Ling, I am expecting Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji to come to Lotus Cove today. I plan to know exactly what they are playing at." Jiang Cheng explains.

"Uncle you can't kill them! You can't turn them over to Uncle Jin either." Jin Ling begs.

"Don't worry... I won't do anything till I don't get to the bottom of things... Jin Ling, don't disclose this to anyone. It's very important that you stay in your room. Do you understand?" Jiang Cheng asks seriously.

Jin Ling nods.
The rest of the journey is uneventful.

Once they reach Lotus Cove they discreetly go to their rooms.
Jiang Cheng sends for Yenay.

"Aunty, how are things here?" Jiang Cheng says running towards Yenay and holding her hand and stopping her from bowing to him.

"A Cheng... everything is as you left it in Lotus Cove... And as far as things regarding the other matter goes...after receiving the message the other day there has been no more news." Yenay informs and pauses before she adds, "A Cheng... master Wei is still the same."

"How so?" Jiang Cheng asks curiously.

Yenay fills the Clan Leader on all things that had happened in the past few days.

*The Cottage*

Wei Ying opens his eyes to a bright room. He looks out the window and the sun has risen quiet high. It must be past 10 he thinks and sits up rubbing his eyes to get rid of remnants of his sleep.

He feels great... really great. He hasn't felt this good in a long time. He wonders if Lan Zhan had again transferred his spiritual energy to him. Thinking of his husband makes him look around the room. His eyes fall on Lan Zhan, who is still meditating. Lan Zhan is positively glowing. Wei Ying thinks if it was Lan Zhan's spiritual energy that was overflowing and making him look this angelic.

Wei Ying grabs his top garments and partially covers himself. He doesn't bother trying the belt around his robes.
He thinks it best not to disturb Lan Zhan and goes to the kitchen finds water and freshens up.
He looks around with the intention of surprising Lan Zhan with his cooking but decides against it almost immediately.
He decides to go outside to check on Wen Ning but remembers his promise to Lan Zhan. He goes back in the room to get dressed properly, but as soon as he enters... Lan Zhan grabs him by the waist pulls him flush against himself.

Wei Ying let's out a small surprised yelp.
Lan Zhan's arms circle around Wei Ying's waist and hold him in a tight embrace.
Wei Ying throws his arms around Lan Zhan's neck.
"Hey... what happened?" Wei Ying asks caressing the back of Hanguang Jun's neck.
"I thought you left." comes the simple but heartbreaking reply.
"Hanguang Jun, why are you like this?" Wei Ying coos and adds, "What makes you think I will leave you?....Ah"
Wei Ying steps back and rubs his fingers just behind his ear.
"Lan Zhan! Why did you bite me?" Wei Ying scolds.

Lan Zhan looks guilty for a moment but then his eyes fall on Wei Ying's naked torso.
Where there was guilt a moment ago now there is lust and want.

Lan Zhan's eyes roam all over Wei Ying's bare skin and he asks in a needy tone, "How do you feel?"
Wei Ying chirps, "Good... actually I feel great... I haven't felt this good in a long time"
He pauses as if remembering something and starts again, "Ammm... By the way Lan Zhan, did you perhaps... Oh... Lan Zhan! what are you doing?" he objects, as Lan Wangji lifts him up in his arms and carries him to bed.
"Lan Zhan, what are you doing?" Wei Ying asks breathlessly. Wei Ying watches, as Lan Zhan discards his upper garments and gets in bed next to the younger man.

{Note :- I have nothing to say except...please don't judge me for the next update. There is 100% going to be adult content...and I would really appreciate it if I don't get hate for it. That is also why this story has a 'Mature' tag. I really don't want to be called names for putting content in the story that I always had plans to put. Of course positive criticism is always welcome.
There are some things happening in my real life that are not positive and I really can't deal with negativity right now.
