A few minutes ago he had received a message from Jiang Cheng that Lan Zhan had run into some trouble at his end for which he had to take a detour, and that Lan Zhan would be delayed.

The letter had mentioned that Jiang Cheng had informed Lan Zhan about the change in the meeting point.

'This delay could spell trouble.' Wei Ying thinks fixing his attire.
There is a knock on the door again.

Meimei enters and hands over an item to Wei Ying and leaves the room.

'This will have to do.' Wei Ying thinks looking at the item in his hand and sits cross-legged trying to concentrate and stabilize his newly activated core.

As the opening time draws closer Wei Ying can't help but get worried.
'Lan Zhan you need to hurry up. You need to be here before others.' Wei Ying thinks trying to place the two perverts in the crowd that had steadily grown outside the brothel.

The bell goes off signaling the opening time.

Wei Ying takes a place as far away from the door as possible.
He stands with his back to the door.

The sound of the door opening is the only sound Wei Ying hears before a pair of hands grab him from behind and pull him close.

"Er gege.. " Wei Ying whispers when he feels the scent of sandalwood engulf him.
The door is not completely closed.
The perverts look into the room.
Their eyes are met with a man's strong back and breathless gasps and moans.

The perverts close the door and walk out of the brothel.

"If only we had walked faster." The taller man says.

"Are you stupid? We would have been caught. Don't you remember what that woman had said? This man must be someone important. We would have caused unnecessary trouble for Master if we're to be caught." The shorter says.

"You are right, no woman is worth that." The taller man says walking away towards Lotus cove.

*In the Brothel*
*Wei Ying's Room*

"Lan Zhan... they are gone. What are you doing?" Wei Ying says when he feels his husband's mouth leave a trail of kisses on his neck.

"Missed you." Lan Zhan says turning Wei Ying in his arms and hugging him tight.
Wei Ying returns the embrace throwing his arms around his husband's neck.

They hold each other for a few seconds.
Lan Zhan let's go finally and looks at Wei Ying.
His eyes widen in shock when he finally observers Wei Ying who is wearing a mask on his face.
Only his eyes and lips are visible.

"Wei Ying, what are..." Lan Zhan asks stepping away from Wei Ying.

Wei Ying removes the mask.
"I put it on so the people following me won't recognize me. Why?" Wei Ying asks walking towards Lan Zhan.

Lan Zhan puts his hand out,"Stop..."

"Mn?"

Lan Zhan looks around the room. His face falls.
Wei Ying notices, "Lan Zhan, what is it? Did something happen?"

Lan Zhan doesn't answer.
'Master, are you going to fuck me? Then... are you going to make love to me?'
The memories from years ago come back to Lan Zhan's mind...haunting him.

Lan Zhan buries his face in his hands as the memories become clearer.
He remembers calling The Boy...the boy he had bought for the night 'Mine'

Tears start making their way down his cheeks.

Wei Ying panicks.
"Lan Zhan?" He asks putting his hands on Lan Zhan's hands.

His eyes widen in surprise and then close.
'Empathy' Wei Ying realizes.
'But why?' Wei Ying asks himself.
He had not initiated it. It had just happened on it's own.
He feels a pull. Then there is darkness.

Wei Ying opens his eyes.
'It's the same room, a different time.' Wei Ying thinks looking around.
He sees two boys enter it.
"Lan Zhan?" Wei Ying says, recognizing one of them as his husband.
He watches as the two boys interact.
"What is Lan Zhan doing?" Wei Ying thinks walking closer.
His eyes fall on the boy standing next to the door.
Wei Ying's eyes widen when he sees Lan Zhan kissing the boy.
His heart hurts looking at his husband in another's arms.

"No... there has to be a mistake... Lan Zhan had said that I was the only one. He had never loved another." Wei Ying thinks as tears start falling freely form his eyes.

Wei Ying watches as Lan Zhan calls the boy mine and carries him to bed climbing on top of him... Kissing him... Touching him.

'This can't be true.' Wei Ying thinks getting jealous of the boy whore.
Wei Ying sees as Lan Zhan's hands go to the boy's sash.
He watches as the boy refuses and Lan Zhan leaves the bed.
He watches as Lan Zhan looks at the boy with guilt in his eyes.
He watches Lan Zhan hold the boy and cry.

"Everyone leaves me. I am all alone." Lan Zhan tells the boy.

"I can never have what I want." Wei Ying hears Lan Zhan say.

Wei Ying watches as Lan Zhan accepts the drink offered by the boy and looses conciseness.

Wei Ying finally really looks at the boy.
There is something familiar about the boy.
The boy drinks the wine till there is none left.

Wei Ying goes closer.
'That's me' Wei Ying realizes and he covers his mouth.

'It can't be... I would have remembered... ' Wei Ying thinks before it comes to him.
He remembers walking up in bed in the same room alone without his memories.

Wei Ying's eyes are once again drawn to the boy... To himself, as the boy puts Lan Zhan's feet up and climbs into the bed next to him.

'What the fuck am I doing?' Wei Ying thinks when the boy... that is him from sixteen years ago asks a sleeping Lan Zhan, "What made you cry like this?" while stroking his face.
Wei Ying watches as the boy kisses a sleeping Lan Zhan before hugging him.
He sees the boy almost leave. But the boy turns around and joins Lan Zhan again when Lan Zhan murmurs "Don't go.. Please. "
Wei Ying watches as the younger him removes his as well as Lan Zhan's top garments.
Wei Ying gasps when he sees Lan Zhan open his eyes and the boys start making out.

"Fuck. Why did I do that?" Wei Ying thinks feeling hot all over.

"Don't ever leave me." Wei Ying watches Lan Zhan say to the boy.. to him.

"Ok." Wei Ying watches himself answer.

Wei Ying feels like an intruder.
"What made Lan Zhan come to a place like this? What made him so desperate?" Wei Ying thinks as he watches the boys make out.

"Wei Ya... " Wei Ying hears Lan Zhan moan thrusting his hips between the boy's legs.

Realization strikes him like a slap in the face.
'He had wanted me. He had wanted me bad enough to come to a place like this. He had chosen a boy who resembled me! He had held the boy wanting it to be me!'

Wei Ying's eyes once again fall on the boys. He watches as his younger self pushes Lan Zhan into bed and climbs over him...kissing all over his neck and shoulders.
"Do you want me?" Wei Ying hears his younger self whisper before Lan Zhan pulls him up and kisses him again.

Wei Ying watches as Lan Zhan breaks the kiss as says, "Hold me...sleep... It's 9 pm."

'Those damn Lan Sect rules.' Wei Ying thinks smiling to himself.

"Ok." Wei Ying hears himself say.
He watches as Lan Zhan turns him and hugs him from behind.
Wei Ying smiles affectionately when he sees Lan Zhan peppering his neck and back with kisses.

Wei Ying watches himself giggle.

He watches Lan Zhan pinch him.
"Ah..." Wei Ying hears himself moan.

'Somethings never change.' Wei Ying tells himself.

Wei Ying smiles now.

Wei Ying watches as his younger self turns and kisses Lan Zhan before falling asleep in the older boy's arms.

Wei Ying feels a pull again.
Once again he closes his eyes.

When he opens them, he finds himself in Lan Zhan's arms.

'It's over.' Wei Ying thinks returning Lan Zhan's embrace.

"Please Wei Ying.. I didn't know what I was doing back then. I never loved anyone except you. Please believe me... I regret it... I regret all of it... Please Wei Ying... say something... anything... Just don't leave me...please...I never should have come to this place... I made a mistake." Wei Ying hears Lan Zhan murmur into his neck.

He feels wetness on his neck.
'He is crying!' Wei Ying realizes.

He breaks the embrace and cups Lan Zhan's face between his palms.
"Lan Zhan, what did you do, tell me everything?"

Lan Zhan takes a deep breath, "After the Lantern ceremony, you left. I felt alone and confused. I decided to come here...I picked up a boy... He looked like you. I...we... Wei Ying, that's not important. I messed up. And I am sorry...Wei Ying please... "

"Why didn't you tell me before?"

"I had forgotten about it. I had had wine that night... He had offered it to me. When I woke up, I was back at Cloud Reassess... I wasn't even sure if I had come to Yiling the night before." Lan Zhan says looking scared and guilty.

"Is that all you remember?" Wei Ying enquires.

"That is all I can recall. Trust me Wei Ying... I have only ever loved you. I am sure I didn't take him." Lan Zhan whispers... Shaking his head... Wanting what he had just said to be true.

"How can you be sure?" Wei Ying asks sternly.

"He was scared of me...he had not wanted me. He had asked me to stop before things got out of hand." Lan Zhan explains.

"How do you know nothing happened between you two once you fell unconscious...you said you don't remember?" Wei Ying asks smiling mischievously.

Lan Zhan misses it.

"I know... I couldn't have... I wouldn't have...Wei Ying, do you hate me now?" Lan Zhan finally asks looking at Wei Ying.

Wei Ying's lips land on Lan Zhan's.
Lan Zhan gasps.

Wei Ying breaks the kiss.
"Lan Zhan, the only reason I am angry is because I was a bigger idiot back then than I am right now!" Wei Ying says smiling brightly at his husband who looks at him like a confused puppy.

"Mn?"

"The boy you spent the night with was me." Wei Ying says coming clean.

"Mn?"

"I had followed you that day. I had snuck into this place to keep an eye on you. You had picked me amongst all the boys... Because obviously I look like me the most...hehe."

"Mn?"

"Lan Zhan, what I am telling you is that if that boy you touched here in this place sixteen years ago was the only other person you ever touched, then you have only ever touched one man...Hanguang Jun... You have only ever touched me." Wei Ying says before pulling Lan Zhan towards him again and kissing him.

Wei Ying's words slowly sink in.
'It was him. I was not unfaithful. He still wants me.' Lan Zhan understands wrapping his arms around Wei Ying, deepning the kiss.

Lan Zhan pulls on Wei Ying's sash ridding him of the women's clothing.

"Hanguang Jun..." Wei Ying moans when Lan Zhan's mouth closes over the nape of his neck.

"Lan Zhan...we need to... Ah." Wei Ying moans again when Lan Zhan pinches his waist.

Wei Ying pulls himself away from a very aroused Lan Zhan with great difficulty.

"Mn?" Lan Zhan asks looking like a boy whose candy got taken away.

"Lan Zhan, don't look at me like that. I am not the bad guy here." Wei Ying says before pouting.

Lan Zhan's eyes widened and he immediately pulls Wei Ying close and takes Wei Ying's lower lip between his... sucking.

Wei Ying allows it.

But when Lan Zhan's hands become bolder trying to go lower, Wei Ying breaks the kiss again.

"Lan Zhan, we really need to leave this place. It's not safe for us to stay here." Wei Ying says in a serious tone.

Lan Zhan nods but doesn't let go. He picks up his husband and carries him to bed.
"Lan Zhan!" Wei Ying says realizing that his words had fallen on deaf ears.

Lan Zhan gently puts Wei Ying on the bed.
Wei Ying sits up with a displeased expression on him face.
Lan Zhan finds it extremely cute.
"Wei Ying, are you going stop me from touching you?" Lan Zhan puts his face close to Wei Ying's neck breathing him in.
Wei Ying gulps but doesn't move.

"I haven't seen you all day..." Lan Zhan whispers moving closer...kissing Wei Ying's jaw.

On another note,
I have been advised eye rest as I have strained my eyes. It's hurting and I don't want the situation to get worse so I have to limit my screen time. Thus I will be updating this story once a week or so.

I will also try and update US and Them Tomorrow. Thereafter that too will be updated once in a week (hopefully)

Dusk and Dawn will be updated regularly and I hope to finish it before the mid of next month at least.
