Kate's POV

"Kate, our forces are faltering! More of our land is being taken by the North! We are suffering casualties! The situation is dire, we must request assistance!" Candu, one of the military leaders tells me.

"I have already sent a request letter to the United Animal League. We should be hearing back shortly." I reply to him.

"My Lady! Message from the United Animal League!" A messenger informs me, panting. I take the note from his jaws. It reads:

My dear Kate,

I hear that the United Pack is facing difficulties with the packs of the North. To maintain peace, the United Animal League will assist you. As this is a large scale war, Me along with an elite squad will personally come to assist with the war.

I gape at the letter. I reread it over and over. Humphrey is the leader of that massive organization? No way.
