Chapter One

Meeting a mortal

Boom!

Where am I, I thought to myself as I stood up looking up.

"Who are you," I heard a small voice say.

I looked down and saw a small girl standing there staring at me." I don't know I replied.

"I'm Dali," she said.

"What planet am I on? " I asked,

"What do you mean your on Earth," Dali replied.

"Do you wanna be friends?" Dali asked.

"Sure," I said.

"Do you wanna go meet my mom?"

"I guess," I said.

Dali grabbed my hand, and the next thing I know were running to a small tan beautiful house. "Dali who is this?" A woman on the porch said.

"Granny this is a girl I found in the woods," Dali said.

"Darling, I told you to stay out of the woods ," the Elder said.

"I know, Granny I wouldn't have went in there, but I heard a loud boom and so I went to chck it out."

"Okay. Well from now on, don't go into the woods without adult supervision its dangerous."

"Ok Granny I won't," she replied.

Thank you deary.she said.Oh how rude of me the elder said getting up would you like to come in child? the elder asked me.

Yes please I replied.

Come on in. she said as we went into the house the elder in front of me and Dali beside me.Dali show the child around. she said.

Om granny.this is the family room Dali said pointing to a small little room. This is the kitchen and this is the dining room she said pointing to a slight bigger room than the first room I saw. This is granny's room she said pointing at a smaller room than the family room. And finally this is my room she said as we went upstairs to a small room.

Cool I said.

You can stay I. my room weigh me for tonight if you'd like.Dali said.

Ok I will I replied.

How old are you the elder asked as I was coming down the stairs.
I don't know. I replied.

Ok well you look about I'd say maybe 12 .So if anyone asks just say your 12 ok?

Alright I replied.

I'm 10 Dali said and granny's 56.Dali said smiling.

Yes well not every body stays young forever the elder said but you can call me Mrs Nellie if you'd like.

Ok I replied.

Anyways where are you? from Mrs Nellie asked.

I don't remember.the last thing I remember is well I don't remember anything except meeting Dali and you guys.

Well I guess we will have to give you a name then. Mrs Nellie said. Hmm how about Kathy?

Sure I guess I replied.

Yay Dali said .

Do you already have a family? No not that I can remember. I replied.

How would you like to live with Dali and myself since you have no other place to go?

That would be great I replied.

Yay I have a new sister! Dali said jumping up and down.

Calm down darling Mrs Nellie said to Dali.I guess now we should get you a bed and for now you and Dali can share a room.

Ok I replied.

Wait granny cant she just have the top bunk of my bunkbed? Dali asked.

Well if she wants to.Do you mind Kathy?

No not at all I replied.It'll be fun I said.

After dinner we can get your bed all set up and we can hangout fo""r a little bit then it will be you and Dalis bed time then we will all go to bed and we can do something tomarrow.

Ok that sounds good.I said.

Were gonna have fun tomarrow. Dali said.

Yep Mrs Nellie said.

Chapter Two

The stranger at the door

"Good morning ." I heard Mrs Nellie say as I sat up."Morning "I replied.

Did you sleep well " she asked me.

"Yes ma'am I did" .

"Well that's good."she replied.

"what time is it I asked.

9:00 a.m.

"I must have slept in pretty late I guess."

"Actually yes you did."

KNOCK KNOCK.

I heard the pounding. of knuckles on the door.

"Dear Gracious who would be making such noise."Mrs.Nellie said as she was walking down the stairs and opening the door.

"Can I help you?" she said to a man with short black hair and was very handsome .

I had a feeling to run something in my mind was yelling danger danger yet I ignored it there was something about him I just couldn't figure it out he looked familiar.

"Yes actually you can I would like to see Katheryn.

"Kathy Mrs. Nellie hollered for me to come."

Yes ma'am. I replied.

" Do you know this man?"

No ma'am I don't. " I replied.

" ok then you Cant see her ."she said slamming the door in his face.When she turned around there was this look on her face that was saying she knew this man and didn't like him at all.

"What's wrong?"I asked her.

"Nothing.

"you look like somethings. troubling you.

"I said its nothing. "she replied.

"Ok but if you ever need to..

"I said I'm fine she replied.I could see that clearly whatever was troubling her,she didn't want to talk about it."That was all".she said.
