Evie gave me the dress for the talent show, which is also the dress for the coronation after party.

It was similar to the dress I wore to Ben's coronation, except the skirt was shorter and popped out more. (picture up top)

"You nervous?" Lonnie asked while she was doing my hair.

"Little bit."

"You'll do fine. Besides, Jason is going to be backstage with you, so he'll calm you down."

"Okay."

"Now get out of here! You have a show to do."

I walked outside the dorm and ran into Ben. Quite literally I may add.

"Hey Cassidy. You look really good." Ben said as he started leaning in.

I put up my hand. "Not so fast. You're dating my friend."

"I know. Like I was trying to make a move on Jason's territory."

"Ha ha. You going to the talent show?"

"Yeah. I'm a judge, along with my parents, FG, and Jimminy Cricket."

"So I'm being judged by the king, his parents, the school's headmistress, and a cricket. I wonder what the cricket says when someone does a good job. Maybe cricket, cricket."

Ben started laughing. "Good one. We should get going."

"Good point." We walked the rest of the way in silence. When we got to the stage, Ben went on stage to announce that the show was starting. He walked back down stage and joined his parents in the front row.

"Hey." Said a voice behind me. I jumped, causing the person behind me, Jason, to catch me.

"Sorry. Don't scare me like that!" I said.

"You ready? Because you're up next."

"I am? Wow. Time flies when you're bored."

"Yeah. Don't say your name, keep curtain down. Ask Ben to introduce you at very end, right?"

"Yeah."

"Break a leg Cassidy."

"Thanks Jace."

As Jason walked away, I walked to the edge of the stage and grabbed a microphone.

"You next?" Asked the girl.

"Yeah."

"Cassidy, right?"

"Yeah."

"I'm Jordan. Jason tells me that you're talented. Break a leg."

"Thanks."

"And next up," Ben said as I saw Jason run out and whisper something in his ear. "this next person doesn't want me to say her name. I'll introduce her at the very end. Next up is Mystery Girl singing an original song."

I looked at Jason. "Mystery Girl. Really?"

"Yeah. Go get them MG!"

"Okay, okay." I said as I walked out onstage. The curtain was still closed. Good. I nodded to Lonnie, who was playing the score on my phone, and she pressed the button. I began to sing.

I finished singing and everyone started clapping. Lonnie peered behind the curtain.

"You have a standing ovation!" She said, then squealed.

"Yes!" I whispered as I walked off stage.

Jason embraced me with a hug. "You did an amazing job! You'll win for sure. I saw my friend Ally shine a light at the curtain so people could tell you were behind there."

"Really? Did it look good?"

"Yeah!" The girl that I was talking to earlier, Jordan, gave me a microphone with a voice disguiser attached to it.

"To disguise your voice when Ben introduce you later."

"Thanks."

Another 30 minutes passed until I heard Ben say "You guys wanna meet Mystery Girl?"

I got up and walked onstage, still behind the curtain.

"MG, wanna come out?"

"I've been bullied at this school from the start. I've only had four friends my entire life, even though they were kinda evil. They encouraged me to do this, and I want to thank them for sticking with me through thick and thin. Well," I said as the curtain came up. "this is me. I'm Cassidy, and I've been bullied for 8 straight years."

Everyone started clapping. Mal, Evie, Jay, and Carlos stood up and starting yelling "Go Cassidy!"

"Well Cassidy, you've won the talent show!" Ben said, handing me a medal that said 1st Place.

"Yes!" I said and started dancing.

Mal, Evie, Jay, Carlos joined me and also started dancing, with Jason, Jane, Doug, and Lonnie in pursuit. Even Ben started dancing.

"Ben! Stop dancing! It's not appropriate!" Beast said chuckling.

"Whatever Dad!" Ben said, continuing to dance.

We all started chuckling.

"Should we get the real party started?" Jay asked.

"Yeah!" Ben said.

After we finished singing, I saw Audrey. I walked up to her and said "Can we talk?"

"Sure. What more damage can you do?"

We walked around the coronation hall and I got out my spellbook.

"What are you doing?" She asked.

"Fixing your hair. I can't take you seriously like that. Beware, forswear, replace the old with new hair." I said as Audrey's hair grew longer and curlier.

"Thanks." Audrey said as she rejoined the party. Before the party, I grabbed Mal's spellbook and wrote a note in it for me and for Mal.

"Wait! Audrey! Can you tell Mal that I'll miss her?"

Audrey looked confused, but she said "Okay. I'll tell her."

Jason walked up as Audrey left. "You ready to go?"

I sighed. "Yeah. I'm going to miss this place."

"Same here. But we'll return. I know it."

"Thanks for being positive." I said.

"Did you say goodbye?"

"I wrote it in the spellbook and wrote individual letters to everyone."

"Do you have the spell?"

I brought out the spell in my locket. "I just have to add one word and it should work."

"Okay."

"Love so high, heartbreak so tragic, teleport us away from the land of magic." I said as the winds picked up around us and we disappeared.

Mal POV

I was dancing with Ben when I noticed that Cassidy and Jason weren't there. Then I noticed that Audrey's hair was back to normal.

"Hey, where's Cassidy?"

"Behind the hall. She turned my hair back to normal. I'm sorry I was mean to you guys. I don't know what I was thinking." Audrey said.

"Oh. Thanks." I said, walking away.

"Wait! Mal, Cassidy told me to tell you that she's going to miss you."

"Okay." That was the last time I saw Cassidy before she came out of Mary, my daughter.

55 years later, after Mal "died"

I was meeting Ben in the throne room of Castle Beast. I felt guilty about leaving Cassidy, but I had to so she could be who she was meant to be, a functional queen and beautiful princess.

"You're back." Ben said as I walked in.

"Yeah."

"You okay?"

"I don't like leaving Cassidy."

"I know, but it's for the best. You left her everything?"

"Yeah. Hair dye, spellbook, and locket."

"Good. I just hope she'll be protected on Earth."

"You know she will Ben. She's your granddaughter."

"She's also your's. She'll be okay, right?"

"Yes. All you need is a little bit of faith."

"Okay." Ben said as we sat down, worrying about our dear Cassidy.
