Toad and Toadette were having a vacation on a luxury ocean liner, the same one they took with their other friends in a game called Mario Party 7. However this time, it was the usual luxurious cruise and not one that had Peach’s castle on it. One morning Toadette woke up to a very strange noise. She checked the clock and realized it was 7 am. She told Toad that she wouldn’t wake up until 9! Annoyed by her lack of sleep, Toadette went to see what the noise was. It was coming from the bathroom, where Toad was. “Toad!” she wailed. “What’s that horrible noise?”

“Nyan Cat!” Toad exclaimed.

“Well, can you mute it or something?” Toadette asked.

“Nah,” Toad said, turning up the volume. Toadette groaned.

“I’m going out to eat at the breakfast buffet,” she said.

“Ok! I’ll meet you there,” Toad replied.

*10 minutes later*

“Hi, Dettie!” Toad said, sliding into the seat next to her. “I need to tell you something important.”

“What?” Toadette asked.

“NYAN NYAN NYAN NYAN NYAN NYAN NYAN NYAN-“ Toad sang off-key.

“CAN YOU SHUT UP?” Toadette put her hands over her ears.

“HAHAHA, NO,” Toad replied. “NYAN NYAN NYAN NYAN NYAN NYAN NYAN NYAN…” And he hadn’t even noticed that Toadette left him alone.

*almost 9 hours later*

Nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan… This entire day, Toad had been playing this song over and over again and it took so much of Toadette’s effort to not yell at him. She felt like she was going to get a sore throat. Finally, that one little “nyan” was Toadette’s last straw. “CAN YOU NOT?!” Toadette screamed. And there was suddenly no noise.

“I’m done,” Toad said cheerfully.

“W-w-what?” Toadette stuttered. “I don’t understand.”

“Fine, I’ll tell you why I was listening to Nyan Cat,” Toad started. “Yoshi gave me a dare and I gave him one in return. His dare for me was to listen to Nyan Cat for 10 hours. I started at 6 am and now it’s 4. So, the 10 hours are finally over. Personally, I got tired of that Nyan Cat song myself.”

“So, what was your dare for Yoshi?” Toadette asked.

“To watch the two Little Baby’s Ice Cream commercials 100 times each…” Toad grinned.

*two weeks later*

“AAAHHHHH!!” Yoshi screamed.

“And how I shine…” the ugly ice cream monster on Yoshi’s laptop screen took a spoon and began to eat out of the top of his head. “And how my pores are so… clean.”

“MAKE IT STOP! MAKE IT STOP!” Yoshi jumped into Toad’s arms, startling him.

Toad grinned. “Nope, 199 times to go." Yoshi’s wail was heard all over the neighborhood.

This one was shorter than usual but I hope you liked it nonetheless. I did try to listen to Nyan Cat for 10 hours before but I had to leave the house when I was almost 2 hours into the video and when I returned, the video had a playback error... I've also seen both "Little Baby's Ice Cream" commercials. Lol I didn't like them AT ALL. I put a video of 10 hours of Nyan Cat in the multimedia. Idk when the next update for this book is coming.
