Yoshi and Toad arrived at the Golden Mushroom grocery store. They were there because Peach told them to buy things for a barbecue party.

"I don't get why Peach is always bossing us around," Toad muttered as he and Yoshi got a cart.

"Well, she's the princess," Yoshi pointed out.

"Hmph. Might as well make the best out of this," Toad climbed onto the cart.

"Umm, what are you doing?" Yoshi questioned, glancing at his friend.

"What does it look like?" Toad squeezed into the baby seat of the cart.

"That's for a baby, Toad," Yoshi sighed. "You won't fit there."

"See? I can fit here," Toad said. "And I'll now pretend to be a baby." Yoshi sighed again and began pushing the cart with Toad on it.

"You're so heavy," Yoshi commented.

"I'm a fat baby," Toad grinned.

"Toad, you have the list right?" Yoshi asked.

"Yep."

"Ok, what's the first thing on the list?"

"Tropical Toad Fruit Punch."

"Oh, that's right here! How convenient."

*ten minutes*

"That was easy," Toad stated once everything that Peach needed he and Yoshi to get was already in the cart.

"Hey, Toad," Yoshi grinned at his friend. "I have an idea."

"What is it?" Toad asked.

"Now that we've gotten everything Peach wanted us to get... Let's buy stuff for ourselves!" Yoshi exclaimed.

He pushed the cart while running, then put his feet on the bottom of the cart. By doing this, the cart wasn't under much control and it knocked over several shelves of shampoo bottles.

"This is fun!" Toad exclaimed as he snatched a board game out of someone else's cart and put it in his own. "Where do we go next?" Just then, the friends approached the candy aisle.

"There," Yoshi said. "I'll push the cart really fast and you'll grab whatever you can and toss it in our cart. Got it?"

"Yup!" Toad grinned. Yoshi sped down the aisle and Toad took as much candy as he could.

"That was awesome!" Yoshi exclaimed.

"Let's do that in other aisles," Toad suggested.

*twenty minutes later*

Yoshi and Toad's cart was completely full and had no more room for anything else.

"To the cash registers we go," Toad said. Once the friends got to a checkout counter, it took them at least five minutes to take everything out of their cart.

"The total is 968 coins," the cashier stated. Yoshi and Toad gulped. They only had 800 coins with them.

"Umm... Remove these from the total," Toad gestured to the things for the barbecue party. Once the respective things were removed, he paid.

"At least we still got to buy what WE wanted," Yoshi smiled.

"Yeah... Yosh?" Toad looked worried.

"What?"

"I think I'm stuck in the cart."

Well this is a short chapter... Sorry if you found it TOO short. But you have to keep in mind that these chapters aren't meant to be very long. What do you think will happen to Yoshi and Toad? How will Peach react? Will the barbecue party still push through? Idk if I'll reveal all of the answers to these questions so in the meantime make up your own answers!
