After Anya's death Ivan still kept the promise that meant their frindship. Ivan did have a little grief after Anya's death, but after she passed away, Ivan went his normal life like he would usually do.

One day while Ivan was walking he saw a young girl that looked like she was late teen early adult was lost.

She had a medium long black hair with a long black scarf that looked weird to him because she looked African-American although she had on an outfit that he would mostly see Caucasian girls wear. The girl saw Ivan and she came up to him

"Hello, my name is Miora Bellerose, I'm new here and I thought it would be nice if you would like to be my first foreign friend?" Ivan was shocked to see that someone came and asked to be his friend, so Ivan thought Anya's friendship with him brought something good out of his friendly luck.

"Sure, thanks for asking to be my friend." After that day Ivan and Miora became best friends.

However, little did Ivan knew was that Miora was an immortal country of Madagascar.
