When someone would meet Ivan he would always greet them respectfully.

"Privet" would be the first thing he would say. He would sometimes chat with them until he would come out of the blue and say:

"Become one with Mother Russia, Da?" When he would say that he would have a purple aura surround his chubby face.

What society never knew was when Ivan says that he just meant that he would like to be friends, but dejectedly they would always take it the wrong way.

Ivan is actually a kind-hearted man with that would risk his life to save them. In World War I when the Allies needed help Ivan volunteered to help them in the war until his country backed down in 1917.

Ivan was once a close friend with Alfred, who was an immortal with his country America. When Ivan's country became the Soviet Union, Alfred betrayed him.

Ivan also has two sisters: Natalya, who is Ivan's younger sister that is the immortal of Belarus who would stalk him everyday. Sofia is Ivan's older sister who is the immortal of Ukraine; however they left him when the Soviet Union dissolved.

This has left Ivan to be a lonely man in his mansion with no friends along with three servants:Toris, who was an immortal of Lithuania. Eduard, who was Estonia, and Ravis, the small boy of Latvia, who were also distant from him.
