The day after the Soviet Union collasped Anya was celebrating with her father until it was time for her to walk home; although her father asked if she wanted a ride she declined his offer.

Anya was on her way walking home until she heard footsteps walking near her. The footsteps started to get closer to her, so the only thing she could do was walk faster and run until she felt a sharp pain in her head and almost lost consciousness.

Anya regained her consciousness only to find a drunken Prussian trying to invade her "vital regions". Just before Anya could scream the Prussian was knocked unconscious after a metal pipe attacked him.
