Nao's POV

"Everyone, I'm apologize for the long wait. This airship will soon arrive at its destination." I heard Beans voice through the intercom.

I walked out of the airship with Hisoka after we landed.

"Is this where the next phase will be at?" I asked as I looked around to see nothing except a large forest and the tall tower we're standing on.

"Ahem...the third phase will begin here, at this top called Trick Tower. To pass this phase, you must reach to the tower's base alive. The time limit is seventy-two hours. With that, the Third Phase will now begin." Beans informs to everyone here.

"Hmm...Hiso-nii are we suppose to climb down?" I asked as I looked down the tower. "There should be another way right?"

Just then I see a male attempting to climb down the tower and bragging about his extraordinary rock climbing abilities. Not too long after I see him get eaten by a large pink flying monsters eating him.

"Hiso-nii, I don't want to be eaten. Let's find some other way." I tugged of his hand and walked away from the edge of the tower.

"Nao-chan~ With your strength it would be easy for you to get down." Hiso-nii stated the obvious. I rolled my eyes at him.

I'm suppose to keep my strength a secret! And now he's here encouraging me?! Wasn't he the one against it earlier?

I didn't answer and let go of his hand walked off mad. Hiso-nii never makes sense! I'm not going to bother with him anymore!

Just as I was stomping my way away from Hiso-nii, I suddenly felt myself falling down. My body moved on instinct and I landed safely on my feet in another room.

I looked around to see a board with some words and in front of it was a white stand with some kind of bracelet on it.

"You must follow the path that needs requires strength and luck to reach the goal." I read out loud. Then I looked at the bracelet that turned out to be a stopwatch. It shows the time left remaining and a O and X button.

"Don't tell me I have to choose paths with this which is one easy and one hard?" I asked out of nowhere.

"That is correct! You have selected the path of luck. Whether you get the easy one where you can pass immediately or you pick the difficult one where you need to defeat the prisoners." Someone replied from the intercom.

"I knew it...this sucks." I replied depressed.

"So quick to give up? Then you'll not be able to reach the goal." The male said through the intercom.

"I'm not giving up... it's just that my luck is really horrible." I sighed.

"Then let's start! Best of luck!" He replied and the wall opened a door to enter through.

Immediately I already saw a sign. I don't have the luck for this.

"Which way do you want to go? O for the left, X for the right." I read. I'll just go with the right. I clicked the X button and the gate to the right opened.

I walked through there to see myself reach a large room. I see about five prisoners each behind a gate.

"I knew it. I probably picked the hard route."

"Correct again! Allow me to explain. Around you are some prisoners of Trick Tower. The Hunter Exam Committee has officially hired them as examiners. The fights will be one-on-one. You will need to defeated the five of them in order to reach your goal. You may be able to rest after each match." He explained.

The gate of one prisoner came out. He was big and bulk, many times larger than myself.

"He'll be your first opponent."

My opponent then looked at me with a smug look as his expression shows that he clearly looked down upon me.

"This pipsqueak is my opponent? This won't even be a match. You guys won't be able to have a turn. I'll finish her off myself—"

That prisoner didn't even get to finish what he was saying and I already stabbed a knife through his heart. He stares at me with shock and disbelief. How can he be so easily defeated by a girl like her?

"Hmph! Who told you to underestimate me! You deserved it! Be glad I gave you a quick death and didn't play with you!" I yelled. It's really upsetting when people look down upon me just because I look like a small girl!

"So who's next?!"
