Nao's POV

After everyone got on the airship, Chairman Netero introduced himself as the Chairman of this year's Hunter Exam Selection Committee. I was standing besides Gon and Killua as Chairman Netero and his secretary, Beans, explained that we'll arrive at the destination for the Third Phase tomorrow at 8 AM and that we are free to do anything we like.

"Okay! Gon, Nao, let's go explore the airship!" Killua declared with an excited glint in his eyes.

"Yeah!" Both Gon and I agreed as we start running away to have fun exploring. We were walking around the blimp and checking everything out.

Meanwhile~

"Hey, how many applicants do you expect to make it?" Menchi asked as she ate her food along with two other hunters, Buhara and Satotz.

"You mean pass the exam?" Buhara asked.

"Yup. This year we have an impressive group." Menchi said in an impressed tone since she did failed everyone once. But Buhara disagreed saying that it might be different in the other phases.

"But there was one of them that had this whole aura thing going on. What do you think, Satotz?" Menchi asked as she remembered the one she mentioned.

"Oh, yes. I like the rookies this year." Satotz said as he sipped his tea.

"So you agree? I think #294 has a good shot." Menchi said.

"I'm partial to #45." Satotz said as he remembered her aura when Menchi didn't try her dish and failed everyone. He still wonder what else is that kid hiding, he couldn't even detect her Nen when she was right next to him.

"Oh yeah! She had an enormous amount of aura. Her Ren was on the point of almost crushing everyone. Who is she?" Menchi remembered the young girl's outrage and the strong power she wielded.

"Her name is Nao and she seems particularly close with Hisoka. I heard from Beans that Hisoka and her came to the Hunter Exams together. What do you think their relation might be?" Satotz commented.

"I did notice that they seemed close. He could barely restrain himself from tearing off our heads when she was having an outrage." Menchi said as she remembered the look on Hisoka's face when that happened.

"Sometimes it happens, that there's an oddball among the people who takes the exams." Satotz said.

Back to Nao~

Gon and Killua were both kicked out of the kitchen as I was calmly eating cake waiting for them outside. I got the cake when I stuck into the kitchen during Killua's and Gon's ruckus.

When they finally got up from the ground, they not saw me eating cake calmly sitting on the ground and stared at me with their jaws dropped. Then Killua snapped out of his gaze and pointed an accusing finger at me.

"How are you able to get that so easily when we just got kicked out?!" He yelled as he still pointed his finger towards me.

"I got it when you guys created a ruckus took the chefs' attention away, you want some?" I said with a smile on my face as I was happily eating my cake. Then they also joined me in eating cake along with the drumsticks they stole from at first.

We walked around some more as we came past some windows showing the night scene down below. The lights illuminated city making it looks really pretty. As we were looking outside, Gon brought up a conversation.

"Hey, I was wondering. Where are your mom and dad, Killua? Nao?" Gon asked innocently.

"Hmm...they're alive. Probably." Killua said uninterested.

'Probably?'

"What do they do?" Gon asked again.

"They're assassins." Killua said like it was no big deal as he continued to stare at the city from outside down below.

"Huh? Both of them? / Really?! So cool!" Both Gon and I said at the saw time. With Gon looking curious and with me having sparkles in my eyes. Killua turned to look at us and laughed.

"That's your reactions? Hahaha! You guys are really interesting! You guys are the first people who responded so seriously." Killua said as laughed at our reactions.

"Eh? You were telling the truth right? And assassins really are cool!" I said happily with a smile on my face as Gon nodded at my comment too.

"What makes you guys believe I'm telling the truth?" Killua asked.

"Just a hunch." Gon and I said in union and Killua went saying about how his charm point was that no one could tell whether he's serious or not.

"I'm from a family of assassins. So they're all assassins. And my family has really high hopes for me...but I can't stand it. Who wants to have their life planned out for them? Horrible parents right?" Killua complained and started to boast about stabbing his mother in the face and when he becomes a hunter, he'll start by catching his family for their bounties.

"What about Nao's?" Gon asked and Killua seemed interested too and look towards me waiting for an answer.

"I don't know. I never met them. But I do have a group of people I call my family though so don't worry." I said as I wanted to get off this topic about me.

As we continued to talk, I sensed Chairman Netero walking near us but decided to ignore it as he just watched us. He then let out his presence to make us feel that we were being watched. Gon and Killua jumped up immediately as I just ignore them and showed a slow reaction.

"Something wrong?"
