Where am I? I ask myself. Why am I here? What do these people want.  I'm strapped to a gurney in a porcelain white room. I hear footsteps and voices. I remember being dragged into the back of an EMT van and drinking a strange liquid not knowing what it was going to do to me. I hear footsteps coming towards the room I am in. 

" Its been a week and she still hasn't shown any signs of waking up or if she is. Are you sure shes the one?" Says a male.

" Yes I am sure until she wakes though we're going to do everything we can to show her who she is."

" What  she is you mean. Are you sure that she even knows shes a mermaid?" Says the same male. 

I'm a what? No there's no way, If I was I should have known and how? I am not special. I never was. At least until now I guess.  Then three people walk in and look at me and check my vitals they don't even notice i'm awake.

" Hand me the syringe  please. Its time for some testing."
