Twelve years have passed and Branch and Poppy had become the new king and queen of the land troll kingdom when Poppy's father decided to retire and they had three more daughters together in which they also kept their half mertroll heritage from along with their older sister Willow with Clay, Viva and their three kids visiting the land troll kingdom to celebrate the princesses birthday each year meanwhile Floyd and Boom adopted a son named Rocky who is Willow's closest and only friend 

Today is the twelfth birthday for Princess Willow Rose but she is out by the ocean with her cousin Rocky 

Rocky: what are we doing here Willow shouldn't you be getting ready for your birthday ball it's one of the few times we get to see uncle Clay and auntie Viva 

Willow: I just wanted to have a birthday swim

Rocky: but every time we come out here we almost get caught by the guards or by your dad 😣

Willow: relax Rocky besides I have been doing this ever since I was little and besides it's just my dad having a irrational fear of the ocean and he would understand me more if he saw what it has 

Rocky: you know my dad has said that he was a lot like you when he was younger 

Willow: oh really 

Rocky: yeah he's had also said that he, your dad, and uncle Clay are mertrolls but I think he made up that last part since I had never seen a mertroll in my life 

Willow: if dad was really a mertroll then he wouldn't be scared of me or my sisters being in the water but how cool would it be to have a mertroll tail 🤩

Rocky: I would rather stay on land and pursue knowledge about different rocks 🪨 

Than Willow dives into the water and while she was under water she found a locket with the name "Willow Rose" on it and she shows it to Rocky 

Rocky: what's that 

Willow: it's a locket with my name on it 😊

Rocky: do you think it's for you since you are the only person who has the name Willow Rose in this kingdom 

Willow: it must be

Then the two realize that it was almost time for Willow's birthday party and the bolted back to the castle and they ran into some of the other kids who were from noble families and Willow overheard them gossiping about her interest in the water and that they think her sister Maple should have been next in line before making it back to change into the dress she was supposed to wear when she sees her parents with her younger sisters Maple, Winter and Joy 

Princess Joy: you look so pretty 🤩 

Willow: thank you Joy 

Then Poppy did Willow's hair meanwhile Floyd decided to go visit the beach and place his feet in the water 

Floyd: I miss you mom and I also miss you guys too John Dory and Bruce I wish you guys could see how much Willow has grown up in the last twelve years and you could meet her younger sisters and you could meet Rocky 

Then Rocky comes over 

Rocky: what are you doing dad 

Floyd: oh I'm just thinking about your grandma and your uncles 

Rocky: but I already see uncle Branch and uncle Clay always comes for Willow's birthday 

Floyd: no Rocky I mean the uncles you never got to know your uncle John and your uncle Bruce

Rocky: where are they 

Floyd: they live in the sea with your grandma because they 

Rocky: because they are "mertrolls" can you please tell me what actually happened 

Floyd: that is the truth Rocky

Rocky: I will believe it when I see it 

Then Boom walks over 

Boom: hey Floyd *gives Floyd a kiss on the cheek* are you ready to go to the party 

Floyd: I think so it will be exciting to see Clay and the kids again and Rocky will get to meet his cousins too 

Then the three went inside the castle to celebrate Willow's birthday with rest of the family and the entire land troll kingdom
