One year had passed since the major events. Rainbow Dash looked longingly at the ocean where she grew up her whole life.

Soarin: Rainbow, what's wrong? You feeling homesick.

Rainbow: Yeah...a little, I haven't really seen my father in a while, and I don't want him to miss me too much or miss out on seeing me grow up.

Soarin: Yeah, I know what that's like, my dad won't be able to see me grow up either.

Rainbow: Neither will my mom. I miss her everyday.

Rainbow Dash gazed at her photo of her mom.

Soarin: *kisses her cheek* If you need to grieve, you can.

Rainbow: I-I'm okay, I kind of missed being out there all the time...*sighs* *touches her stomach* And I do want my dad to get a chance to meet his granddaughter.

Soarin: I understand. *smiles* Why don't you come with me for a bit.

Rainbow: Okay...?

Soarin brought Rainbow Dash over to the ocean where her dad and friends were.

Rainbow: *gasps* *hugs her dad*

Dad: Hi, baby girl, Happy Birthday.

Rainbow: Huh? But my birthday was yesterday.

Dad: I know, we wanted to surprise you today.

Pinkie: We miss you, Dashie! We want you back!

Rainbow: I know, I miss you guys too and...I'm pregnant.

Pinkie: You're what?!

Rainbow: Uh huh, I thought I'd tell you now so you get a chance to meet her.

Dad: Well I'm very happy for you, sweetheart, and I can't wait to meet her.

Rainbow: I can't wait until she gets here. *hugs Soarin*

Dad: Hey, sweetie, listen, I want to apologize.

Rainbow: For what, Daddy?

Dad: For being so overprotective and not allowing you to follow your dreams of being human.

Rainbow: You were overprotective, but you're still my father, I forgive you.

Dad: *smiles* Just promise you won't do the same to your daughter, and make sure she knows that she's part of the ocean.

Rainbow: I will, Dad, I promise.

Rainbow Dash smiled being able to see her loved ones again, life was looking up for her and her family and friends. She knew that she would be a part of the ocean in the years to come.
