He looked at the poster and recognized it.

Soarin: Oh! This is for the prom tonight

Rainbow Dash tilted her head questionably

Rainbow Dash smiled, she hadn't had a party like that in so long.

Soarin: Wanna come? It'll be fun.

Rarity: But darling, you'll need something to wear.

Rainbow Dash looked at Rarity and pointed at her clothes. She was already wearing something.

Soarin: *chuckles* She means something for the prom, not now.

Rainbow Dash nodded understanding.

Soarin: Why don't we go look for a dress for you.

Rainbow Dash nodded happily, she hugged Soarin from behind. Later that day, everyone went to a store looking for something to wear to prom. Rainbow Dash just looked around curiously as she's never been to a store.

Soarin: Don't worry, we'll find something for you to wear.

Rainbow Dash blushed and smiled, she gazed at all the cute dresses in the store, it was so hard to pick just one. They were all so beautiful.

He covered Rainbow Dash's face causing her to hyperventilate.

Rainbow Dash calmed down a little bit hearing his voice. It was her comfort. When he finally uncovered her face, she gasped seeing a dress perfect for her to wear.

Rainbow Dash hugged Soarin happily, she loved it and couldn't wait to wear it to the prom.

Slow dance? Sounded strange but she went for it. Soarin took her hand and guided her to the dance floor, pulling her close. Rainbow Dash immediately blushed hard. She hugged Soarin tightly.

She nodded and the two glided across the dance floor while soft music played. Everyone watched as they danced the night away.
