Even though being human was a dream come true, it wasn't easy, at least not for Rainbow Dash. Walking on legs was painful but she pushed through, and she didn't really know how to communicate with anyone, especially since she couldn't talk. She had to hang tight to her possessions not wanting anyone to take them, especially the sapphire, it's been really important to her since she discovered it. She was so desperate to know what other special powers it held.

Later that day, Soarin took Rainbow Dash to school, Canterlot High

Soarin: Remember, you recently moved to Canterlot, born mute, and you were home schooled your entire life, okay?

Rainbow Dash nodded and the two went into the building. She looked around the school in shock, it was humongous. She bumped into a wall dropping her book.

Soarin: Oh, let me get that.

Rainbow Dash knelt down to grab her book and Soarin did the same, their hands touching each other.

Soarin: Oh sorry, here you can pick it up.

Rainbow Dash picked up her book and blushed.

Soarin: C'mon, lets go see my friends

Friends? More friends meant a lot to the little mermaid since she hardly had any. Soarin brought her to a group of friends, it was the same ones from the cruise.

Twilight: Hi, Soarin, who's this?

Soarin: This is Rainbow Dash, she's new here.

Rainbow Dash hid behind Soarin, she was a little shy and nervous

Applejack: Don't be shy, sugarcube, we don't bite.

Rainbow Dash looked down, not being able to say anything

Twilight: Not much of a talker, are you?

Soarin: She was born mute, so she can't talk.

Rarity: Poor darling, you're really missing out.

Was she? What do humans do that requires so much talking?

Flash: Soarin, are you going to that party on Saturday?

Soarin: Saturday? Yeah, I guess so

They all were holding tiny boxes, what were they? Rainbow Dash pointed at the one Soarin was holding.

Soarin: Oh yeah, that's my phone, everyone uses them nowadays.

A phone? Perhaps she could get one of those one day. But wait, Saturday?! That's her last day as a human! Rainbow Dash needed to act fast, she would have to get Soarin to love her back so she could be human forever. She hugged Soarin from behind him.

Soarin: Hey, what's the matter, Rainbow?

No response, she just stayed in the hug, desperate to get him to fall in love with her. At this point, she was willing to do anything to be with her prince.

Meanwhile back in Atlantis, the king called a servant to his throne room.

Servant: Yes your highness?

Dad: Set up a search party, have the entire kingdom search for Rainbow Dash and bring her home safely

Servant: But Your Majesty, you banished her months ago.

Dad: I know, but it isn't really the same without her, besides, she's my only family, she must return home to Atlantis.

Servant: Yes, sire.

Pinkie: But she's-

Fluttershy: Shhhhhhhh! *covers mouth* Don't tell him, he can't know about this.

It was possible that Rainbow's dad, the king, was starting to come to terms with his mistake, but it was already too late. He made his decision a long time ago, and his daughter probably wouldn't forgive him if she returned home. Would she stop talking to him? Would she scold him for making such a decision? Sure, they've had some tough moments, but could the king's actions for banishing his daughter be forgivable? Would she return home safely or forever be gone?
