I stood across the street from the bar and waited impatiently. Where was my Malcolm? Oh, did I call him "my Malcolm"? Maybe he didn't want me at all.

"Hello you hot chick. Did you see my date?" I heard a beautiful voice and turned to it. Malcolm. He was wearing oil-stained ripped jeans, a yellow shirt and western boots. His face was a little oily.

"Oh. Hi there. I don't think I saw your date." I replied cheekily. He kissed me on the cheek.

"You're beautiful Angus."

"You too." I grinned.

"Oh." He looked down at himself. "I just got home from work. If I had been home I wouldn't have made it. I hope you don't mind."

"No not at all. You look hot." I purred. He giggled.

"Where do we want to go?"

"I don't know. I know a café that serves great chocolate."

"Then we'll go there, won't we?" He asked with a smile. I nodded and we started off. "Where did you get those great clothes, Ang?" I smiled at the nickname.

"Oh, Mark has-"

"Oh, I should have known." He grinned. "What did he say?"

"He told me something about you." I muttered.

"What exactly?" He asked, walking a little closer to me.

"That you don't like to be called girlish." He tensed. Had I screwed it up again? Oh no!

"Yeah, I don't like it. You know, I was bullied with it. "

"I'm sorry."

"You can't help it. So what are you learning? "

"Music and art."

"Oh, music. I also wanted to study music."

"Why didn't you do it?" I asked curiously.

"You know, my parents ... let's just say they weren't poor. And then they found out that I was gay and it was ..." He shivered a little beside me. I carefully took his hand in mine. He looked down at our interlaced fingers and smiled. "They didn't like it. When I was 16 they abandoned me. Since I had no money to study, I did several jobs to pay rent and so on. At some point I got an offer as a mechanic and that's how I came here."

"They ... threw you out? Just because you are gay?" I asked with wide eyes. He nodded slowly. "I'm so sorry." I whispered.

"They have something against gays. My mother is strictly Catholic and my father ... they both think that gay people should be punished and that their illness should be knocked out of their bodies." I swallowed.

"They beated you?"

"Not only that." He whispered. I ran my thumb over the back of his hand. He smiled at me.

"When I think about my parents kicking me out ... my father told me he didn't care. The main thing is that I'll be happy."

"They are great parents, Ang." I nodded, smiling:

"They're the best." We kept walking until we came around the corner. There was the cafe. We bought two take away cups because Malcolm really wanted to go to the park. We were sitting by a fountain and laughing as it went suddenly began to thunder. At the same time we looked up at the sky. Everything contracted and as if at the push of a button, it started to rain heavily. Malcolm and I laughed. We held hands and ran through the park. Suddenly I stopped. He smiled at me. And then it happened. I put my hand on the back of his neck and we kissed. His beautiful wide lips fell on mine. His hands fell on my hips and pulled me close. I moaned into the kiss. My first real kiss with someone I loved. We parted, panting. There was a trail of saliva between our lips. Malcolm brushed my wet locks aside.

"I love you Angus." He hummed.

"I love you too, Malcolm."
