I strolled into the house, with Moone's head in my hands. When Lillian and Isabelle looked up, they both were shocked. But I noticed how Isabelle just shoved down her emotions and acted like she didn't care. I went over to Lillian to show her the head, and tell her how I had done it.

"You actually did it." Lillian said, shocked. "You actually got your revenge, didn't you?"

"I did. It was actually easy. Anybody who was in there didn't try to fight me - well, a few did, but they didn't even hit me. Then I got to Moone, and he wanted a fight. So, I gave him one. He didn't stand a chance. Near the end of the battle, I gave him the opportunity to make peace with me, but it was obviously a trap. I thought he'd have the common sense to say no. But he actually said yes. I sliced past his fur, then sliced his throat. He bled to death, and I took his head so that I could remember the day that I killed him."

"That is so cool. Say, did you put in that good word with Christina yet?"

"Not yet. I'll go do that now."

I wondered how I had forgotten about the request from my friend. I was going to fix that problem right away. Christina was in the same spot as usual, and I was still carrying the head, a reason for her to really pay attention to me. Christina looked shocked, as if she hadn't expected me to succeed at my mission.

"I take it that your revenge trip went well." Christina said.

"It did. But I have something to ask you about."

"Ask away." Christina commented.

"So, my friend Lillian has been wanting to go and get her revenge for a while, and she really deserves it. She's a great person, and she's strong. Just... Think about it, alright?"

"I'll think about it. Now, hand me the head so I can have it put on a plaque. Once I've done that, I'll return it to you so you can put it on your wall."

I handed her the head, remembering when I had killed Moone not even an hour ago. It was so satisfying, and I wanted to feel that feeling again. Who knew? Maybe I would.

"I'll return in a few minutes," Christina informed. "You stay here."

Christina walked off, and I waited for a good few minutes. I figured that it was a long trek back to wherever she slept or worked, and that that was why she was taking so long. About five minutes after the aforementioned thought, she returned.

"I'm sorry that it took so long. I got held up by another one of the members of our clan. Now, onto training."

Training? But my plan was to leave after Moone was killed. The only reason I had returned to the camp was to get my things. I wanted to go home, but I also felt an obligation to stay at camp. And I certainly didn't want to offend Christina; Not after all of the good things she had done for me. I chose to stay, at least for a little while longer.

"What are we going over today?" I asked.

"You have proven that you are strong, having fought Moone and killing him. You decapitated him, and brought back his head as proof. You are strong in combat, and you are well trained with the worldly essences. Perhaps it is time for you to learn some more magic. You're certainly capable of it, especially with the power you got from killing Moone."

"Alr- Wait. What?"

"When you killed Moone, you gained his power. Every single ounce of power in his body left him when he died, and went into the closest person, which, in this instance, is you. You have all of the powers that Moone had, plus more. That's why I don't allow many revenge trips, as too much power is bad for some. Imagine if we all had the power that you have. Nothing would be peaceful ever again. So I limit the amount of revenge trips. I may make an exception for your friend Lillian, however."

"Alright. So, uh, where do we start on this training?"

"Magic is simple. You imagine something happening, and if you have enough power, it happens. You can do anything and pretty much everything with magic, from healing wounds to hiding your features from someone to even killing someone. Not many can do it, unless they kill. You and I - even without killing, we have enough power in us to do some magic. I don't know why I do, but Moone gave you extra power when he turned you. You had told me that earlier."

"Yeah. So, what do you want me to try doing?"

"I want you to try and use your magic to hide your features. It will be useful for if you have to go out into a human town again. I don't want you to be caught off guard or captured. Those humans lock up everything they see as different. Stay away from humans. But back on topic, use your magic to hide your features."

"But how do I do that?"

"I already explained this to you, and besides; It's simple. Just imagine something, and if you have enough power and magic in you, it'll happen."

I tried to imagine my features just disappearing, and when I looked behind myself to see my tail, it was gone.

"See? Simple. Now, restore yourself to how you were, and you may go to your housing area. The day has passed quite quickly, and soon, there will be a feast."

"For who?" I asked, feeling like I knew the answer already.

"For you. You're the first one to get your revenge in over a year. We'll celebrate this happy moment. Now, hurry along. I still have quite a bit of work to do to prepare."
