Bruh, I'm so dumb. I don't know why I was convinced Georgia was next to Texas. Thank the Gods I went back to check. Just edited the last chapter 😂 Now, enjoy this one!
Chapter 31
"Xavier, I —" my moans easily roll off my tongue as my back slightly arches when he licks my bud.
My legs are tightly holding his face in place as he keeps licking me. One of my hands grabs his dreads while the other goes over my mouth, muffling half of my moans. I wish this would continue for at least half an hour.
When I glance down, my eyes lock with Xavier's piercing ones, and my face heats up in seconds. His gaze is unwavering as he flicks his tongue at such a perfect pace. Gods, I can feel my climax quickly building up.
I'm pretty sure he noticed it since he starts fastening his pace, making me gasp for air when I reach my high. My eyes roll back as my body twitches uncontrollably. Xavier's tongue retreats, getting replaced by his lips that trail kisses up to my breasts covered in my black sleeveless shirt.
My chest rises and falls at a quick pace as a baby smile tugs at my lips. "I will never get tired of seeing you come," he says, hovering over me.
A breathless chuckle comes from me. "Don't think this is over," I say, grabbing Xavier's button-up shirt and pulling him down into a slow kiss.
Xavier releases the sexiest hmm I've ever heard, smiling through the kiss. He pulls away, kissing the side of my mouth, followed by cheek. "I love you, Red," he says, looking at me with glowing eyes.
Mine.
My eyes widen at hearing my feline's soft voice. The last time Foxy spoke was to order me to break up with Dante and run as fast as I can.
"Why are you looking at me like that? It's not the first time I say it," Xavier says frowning.
I smile caressing his cheek. "I guess I just need to get used to it. A few weeks ago, you were so against relationships that hearing you say those words will leave me speechless for a while."
He sits down on his knees, handing me my underwear that laid beside us. "You're my twin flame. I don't need to worry about our relationship ending anymore," he says.
Huh?
I blink as I quickly slip my underwear back on before sitting up. "I'm sorry, I'm afraid I need you to elaborate on that."
"Well, I— Do you remember when we first met, and I told you my college years were the best years of my life?"
I nod, eagerly waiting to know the answer already. Why does he need to go that far back?
"Yeah, well, I might have lied. I was in a relationship but it came to a point where I didn't love her anymore. The fact is that we had been together for so long that I couldn't see myself having a life without her. But then I met Richard and I thought it'd be the perfect opportunity to start over—"
"So you thought you the same thing would have happened with me, therefore fearing the end of our relationship because you're an egotistical coward." I nod to myself as Xavier looks down at his clasped hands
"Guess what, Xavier? You can't control your feelings. And just because I'm your twin flame doesn't mean we'll live happily ever after. A twin flame can also bring the worst out of the other person and be toxic if they want to," I continue.
"I know it's hard to walk out of a person you've been in love with for a very long time, but if you stop having feelings for them, you should break up. It's not fair for them if you keep them close out of habit. And I hope if the time comes, you will break up with me because the last thing I want is to be in a loveless relationship."
Xavier's head snaps back up to me. "That won't happen—"
"Don't make such promises. We're not soulmates. Our relationship will always be on the line. You might choose me as your mate, but that doesn't mean you won't meet your true soulmate." I give him a small smile. If that ever happens I will never hold him back for my happiness.
Xavier grabs my hands, looking straight into my eyes. "I will always choose you over anyone," he says as I shake my head. "I will. This is a promise that will last until my last breath. I know you're the one for me, Alexa. Meeting you again after high school is proof of it."
Blood is rushing to my face, and my heart is drumming loudly against my ribcage. He's mine. Xavier smiles, placing his hands on my cheeks. "I hope these are joyful tears."
I didn't even realize I was crying.
I nod, dropping a kiss on the palm of his hand. "You better not break your promise, or I will cut your dick off," I say, flashing him a grin with my lengthened canines.
Xavier slightly pales at my words as his eyes widen. "I take it back."
I laugh, pushing his hands away and scooting close enough to wrap my arms around his neck. "Too late for that." and with that, I seal his promise with my lips. "I love you," I whisper out.
The idiot lion smiles from ear to ear when a feminine voice interrupts our moment. "Ugh, straight people's love is so bland," she says.
Our smiles drop, and we turn our heads at the source at the same time. Kali is scrunching her nose up with a handful of different types of leaves in her hands.
I blink a couple of times. Is it really her? I rub my eyes, and sure enough, she's still here giving me her signature disgusted face.
Her thick dark hair has a black, large hat on top, protecting her from the scorching sun. My eyes trail down to her voluptuous chest covered in an unexpected pale pink color chiffon dress that's making her look like a teenager.
"What the hell are you wearing?" I ask, letting my jaw hang to the sight.
Kali glares at me. "I'm trying to be more feminine."
I can't help but scrunch my nose. "Wearing pink won't make you feminine. You love your monochromatic looks. Who's hurting you?"
The sorceress rolls her eyes. "No one, plus, I was hoping to receive a hug, not a scolding."
Right then, I realize the position I'm in, and a deep blush makes itself known by everyone. Xavier's hands are resting on my hips while my arms are still wrapped around his neck.
I quickly stand up, brushing the dirt off from my knees before engulfing Kali in a hug. "You look good," I quietly say to her.
She hugs me back, chuckling. "I can't say the same to you. Where are your pants?"
My pants?
I pull away from the hug, looking down and reminiscing what Xavier was doing to me before.
"She took them off to pee, but we got caught up in our moment when she was done," Xavier explains, his warm presence close behind me.
Kali raises a neat eyebrow. "Of course," she says, dragging the word out. "Anyway, what are you guys doing here?"
Xavier hands me my pants, and I quickly slide them up to where they belong. "We were at Dante's place, which by the way, thank you for keeping it a secret. I thought my ex-girlfriend would have been more considerate of me when that wolf is involved," I say, narrowing my eyes at the witch.
Her eyes widen as she points at Xavier. "He made me do it."
Xavier gasps dramatically. "Don't put this on me. You could have ignored my words." A tap on my ankle makes me look down, and my heart melts for the lion.
I put my hand on his broad shoulder, letting him slide my heeled boots onto my feet covered in dirty socks now.
"Damn, you're whipped," Kali says, whistling at the sight.
Xavier shrugs his shoulders, straightening his back. "I don't mind."
I smile, lacing my arm around his and kissing his cheek. "Let's start moving so I can tell you everything," I say.
Kali guides us to her coven, listening to all the details of the mission. Xavier drops a comment here and there, and by the time we arrive, a sense of safety overcomes me, and I feel my whole body relax. The coven here can be compared to a small village.
We walk past brick made houses colored in red and black located all around the woods. I remember Kali once told me that humans never walk in there because of an illusion magick that has been used for centuries. Apparently, they would see an unstable cliff from afar.
The further we walk, the more people I start to see walking around and living their life. Her house is at the end of the little village. I don't know what I was expecting to happen, but it definitely wasn't a black girl with a boyish curly haircut stumbling out of Kali's door.
The girl's wide black eyes look behind her before she stands up and takes off in a run, halting when she sees us. I look at Kali noticing how disappointed she is at the girl. Is that who I think it is?
"Anika?"
My head snaps to Xavier. "You know her?" Kali and I end up asking at the same time.
His whole body tenses up. "She's my ex."
I purse my lips.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!
Hehe.
Don't forget to vote and see you next week! x
