*Taavi's POV*

Tonight...

Kaisa and I are inside of our own private den. I found it one day while guarding the pride. You know, checking for any danger. It's a nice size, plenty of space for our cub to play or run around in.

Before I could continue my thoughts...

"Taavi, it's time!" Said Kaisa.

I shook my head. "What?"

"It's time, I'm about to give birth tell the pride!"

My eyes are widen and my body is completely froze.

"TAAVI!" She yelled.

I shook my head again and jump up to my paws. "Alright, I go tell the pride. Be back don't move!"

"Um, why would I move?"

"Ugh, you know what I mean Kaisa. I love you!"

"Love you too, Taavi. Hurry!"

With that, I race out of the den to the pride's den which isn't that far away from here.

"Jengo, Jengo!" I call.

I walk to the den peeking my head inside. Everyone is still asleep even Jengo.

"Jengo!"

Jengo made a groan then open his eyes. "Taavi?"

"It's time, Kaisa is giving birth!!" I smile excitedly. "I'm about to be a father!"

The whole pride is now awake. Lionesses are smiling and talking with joy. Jengo stood up with a stretch.

"Alright, lead us all to your den."

I nod and led the whole pride to me and Kaisa's den. When we arrive, different cries are heard.

My cubs are born...

*Zaina's POV*

Pride Lands...

I walk up Pride Rock. I see King Ahadi talking to a female horn bill. They stop their conversation as I came forward.

I bow my head, "Hello your majesty. I've come to help search for your daughter."

He nod. "Thank you. Where's my nephew, your mate?"

"Jengo could not make it. He has to watch over the pride. We've been having some trouble lately with rouges."

"Understood. Well, let's get started shall we?"

The whole pride walked out of the cave one by one going down Pride Rock. I follow behind side by side with Ahadi. The female hornbill flew above us all. This is going to be a long night.

*Kaisa's POV*

"Kaisa?"

It sounds like Taavi's voice. I open my eyes seeing him come forward slowly each step.

"Mew, mew, mew, mew, mew!"

I'm laying on my left side. I look down seeing three little fur balls. They're fighting over milk.

I chuckle, "Calm down little ones, there's plenty for everyone to share."

"Wow." Are the only words Taavi said.

"Don't be afraid Taavi, come meet your sons!"

Taavi came closer. He lower down to the cubs level smiling.

"They're so small!"

"Well, you were small too when you were born."

"Guys it's okay, come in and meet my three sons!" Taavi yelled.

First to walk in was Jengo then more lions came. They all gather around in a circle with big smiles.

Jengo put a paw on Taavi's shoulder. "Congrats, you two!"

I lick one of the boys head and smiled. "Thank you, Jengo! Taavi, we still have to name them."

One of the cubs put it's tiny paw on Taavi's black nose.

Taavi licked it's paw chuckling. "We can name this guy, Dayo!"

"I love it!"

I look down at the other two cubs who still don't have names. They're busy suckling on milk.

"For these two their names can be Emem and Kibwe."

Taavi nuzzled me. "That's perfect, Kaisa."

I nuzzle back purring.

"Hey, maybe when they're older cubs you could train them as Lion Guards, Taavi!" Jengo suggested.

Taavi nod. "Yup, that's the goal! Three male Lion Guards. That's triple protection for the pride. No hyena or rouge male will mess with them just watch!"

I laugh then smirk. "Okay, big papa."

Jengo began walking to the den's exit. "Come on everyone, let's give Kaisa and Taavi some alone time with their family."

The pride nod their heads following their King out of the den. Taavi laid close beside me looking down smiling at our three boys Dayo, Emem, and Kibwe.

Dayo has Taavi's same exact color fur. Emem has mines. Kibwe has a beautiful mixture of both me and Taavi. I can't wait to see if they all have Taavi's amazing eye color or mines. In a few weeks their eyes should be open and their legs should be moving.

Finally, we can say we're parents!
