AUTHOR'S NOTE: The picture above is a picture of Kaisa :D. I was bored in English class earlier today and drawn Kaisa in my notebook. If you ever wonder how she looks, well here she is lol! I'm going to start drawing out more of my characters. I never color my drawings but just know her eyes are golden and her color fur/paws are cream. Her paws are colored like Nala's and Sarafina's for example. Okay, you can continue reading the chapter now ^__^.

*Mufasa's POV*

It's been two weeks now since Taka's missing. Mother and father are still sending the lion guards out to find him. Soon they are going to give up. The lion guards have searched everywhere and came up with no sign of luck. Taka did good covering up his tracks and scent. Where ever my brother is I hope he's alive, safe, and fed.

"Muffy, father said its time for your King lessons." Said my sister Athena.

Athena exit out the cave and stood behind me. I'm sitting down at the edge of Pride Rock scanning my eyes over the beautiful wide kingdom. I got up with a nod and walk pass Athena going inside the cave. Athena went down the rocky steps leaving Pride Rock, walking into the plains. I guess she's going to her hunting lessons.

"Hello, son." Greeted my father.

I took an empty seat across from him and sat down with nice straight posture. My head is tilt high, chest puffed out, and shoulders relaxed. A King must have excellent posture. That is one of father's important lessons.

"Afternoon, dad." I greet with a smile.

"Today we will focus on how to defend your pride. A King ALWAYS must be ready to fight. No matter what harms the pride. It can simply be a rouge or hyena! I want to see if your a weakling or not in fighting, Mufasa." Said my father. He walked around me in circles.

I snort. Piece of cake, I thought to myself. I crouch down in fighting position. My tail move side to side and my butt poke in the air. Father unexpectedly jump and pin me down fast on my back. I look very confused.

My father laughed. "I see someone wasn't ready."

A small growl escape from my mouth. I swipe my claws at his face missing it on purpose. Father bit my ear but not hard enough to hurt me. I push him off strongly and got up standing back on my paws.

"What are going to do now, Mufasa? Your pride is in danger. Rouge male lions are taking over the Pride Lands. They are killing the pride's Cubs and forcing to mate with the lionesses. Are you letting it continue?" Said father, who's circling around me again.

I frown. "No."

"Save your pride then!"

I pounce on father's back. We both start to wrestle on the cave's floor. All you hear is loud growling.

"Both of you stop!" Shout a voice.

I took my eyes off of father for a second seeing mother run up and stand between us. Father got up from the cave floor slowly with a chuckle.

"Relax honey, we're only playing. It's part of the King lessons. I'm teaching Mufasa here how to defend his pride!" He said and gave her a nuzzle.

I chuckle. "Yeah mom, no need to worry. Everything is fine!"

My mother smiled giving us both nuzzles. "Okay."

Five lionesses walk in the cave. One of them I notice is my young sister Athena. It's the hunting group. They brought home a male water buffalo. Large enough for everyone in the pride to eat.

"Mom, Hana let me make the kill today!" Athena said excitedly.

Mother walked up and lick the top of Athena's head. "I'm so proud of you!"

Hana, a lioness in mother and father's generation is the pride's lead huntress. She took her paw patting Athena's shoulder.

"Your daughter has great skills and speed my Queen. I can make more room in the hunting group. She'll fit in perfectly!" Hana smiled.

"Please mom?" Athena begs.

Mother looked at father. Father nod after whispering some thing in mother's ear. Mother nod too and turn back facing Athena and Hana both with a large smile.

"Yes, you can join the hunting party."

Athena's eyes grew wide. She bounce up and down with more excitement. "Oh thank you, thank you mother!"

Athena hugged mother. I'm so proud of my sister, congrats! She may not be fit for the royal crown. But being part of the hunting group is where she truly belongs. Hana turn and walked out of the cave with the lionesses following behind her. I guess they're going to go get their Cubs so they can eat lunch too.

In our pride, we let the Cubs and elderly eat first. Next is the lionesses then males. It makes sense to me. This will be a while, so I laid down and wait patiently for my turn to eat.

*Athena's POV*

After lunch, I decide to take a nap. Mufasa took a spot next to me and laid down taking a nap too. Mother and father went out to do their normal Royal duties. The rest of the pride is hanging behind Pride Rock chatting or baby sitting their Cubs.

Mufasa roll on his side and put a paw over his eyes snoring loudly. I groan and cover my ears. It woke me up.

I frown and push him. "Muffy, shut it!"

Mufasa continue to snore. He must be deep lost in a dream. I don't have time for this. I got up with an irritated growl leaving out the cave. If I cant sleep in there, maybe I can find some place else to rest with peace and quiet.

What about the waterhole? Nah, too many animals go there to drink. That's more noise. I scan my eyes around the savannah. Straight ahead lays a huge rock sitting underneath a shady tree. Perfect! No sun to burn me and no animals to disturb.

I walk over and climbed on top of the rock. My body drops. I instantly fell in sleepy mode and rest my head on my two front paws. As soon as I close my eyes, i hear loud paw steps. What does it take for a girl to get some rest?!

I sat up and see a male lion come forward. He's not from Pride Rock. In fact, I've never seen him in the Pride Lands. What if he's an dangerous rouge? Oh gosh, I must tell father.

I let out a loud roar and got up fast showing my claws. The male stop in his tracks and lift a brow.

"Really? You call your Pride and I haven't done anything." He spoke.

"Listen, I don't know who you are but you're trespassing the King's lands, who is my father by the way. He doesn't like dirty rouges like you. I suggest sir leave now and take this as a warning!" I growl.

The male laughed. He sat down. I remain standing on the rock.

"Your a princess huh? What is a princess doing here alone not with her pride??"

"That's none of your business!"

The male licked his right arm. I see it has a small open wound. His dark color fur is covered in dirt and claw marks. He must of got in a fight.

"Relax, I'm just passing through. I'll get out!" He said standing up.

I watch him limp away. He disappeared into the tall grass.

"Athena, what's wrong?" Asked my mother.

Mother ran up shortly after the male. Father ran at her side, both of them now slowing down once they reach me.

"I seen a rouge. He was just hear talking to me!" I said, hoping down from the rock.

Father growled. "Where?!"

"I don't know, he disappeared in the grass. He said he'll leave."

"Did you make sure?"

"Um, I sorta was going to but you both showed up." I said looking down.

Mother let out a sigh. "Do you remember what the male looked like?"

I nod. "Yes. He has dark chocolate fur. His mane is half grown like Mufasa's except the front part falls and cover his eyes. The color of his mane and nose is black. The patch of hair on his tail is white. Odd? I know."

"I'll go look around and make sure he's gone like you said, Athena." Said father.

"Such a odd mix lion. I wonder what pride he's from..." Said mother.

I follow mother home while father went to check the land making sure the rouge is gone and far away. Who ever he is, I hope he doesn't come back.
