Stampede
Scar
Next day..
Today is the day I begin my secret plan getting rid of Mufasa and Simba.
"Scar, be careful and don't get caught!" Zira warned.
I nuzzle her softly, "I won't my love! Be back later. Make sure you keep Sarabi and the lionesses busy."
Zira nod. "I will. Good luck!"
With that, I walk out of our den heading straight to Pride Rock to pick up Simba for his normal hunt lessons.
"Young Prince?" I call out.
I twitch my ears hearing small paw steps behind me.
"Hey uncle Scar! I tried to be back home before you got here. I was playing with Nala near the waterhole." Said Simba, walking up to my left side.
I look down at the golden cub smiling. "Ah, I see. Well let's get a move on with your hunt lessons."
Simba nods.
I lead the way down Pride Rock entering inside the tall grassy plains. Simba leaps happily behind me.
"I've been practicing a lot with my hunts by the way, uncle Scar!" Said Simba.
"Really?" I ask, trying to sound interested.
"Yeah. Nala and I were playing a game to see who's the best hunter. She caught a mouse successfully. I need more practice with timing and speed. It was so fast!"
"Mice are clever smart animals. It's all about patience, time, and speed. You'll get it someday. That's if you live...hehehe!"
Simba raise a brow. "That's if I what?"
I might of said that last sentence too loud. "Nothing."
"Oh."
I sigh with relief. Good thing he didn't hear! I pass a large tree and made a slight right turn. Simba slows down his walking. Maybe I am going perhaps too fast? I'm just so excited. In a few moments I am going to be King!
"Uncle Scar where are we going? I thought the hunting grounds was the other way? I've never been this way before." Said Simba, looking around curiously.
"Your father hasn't taken you this far huh I see? I'm taking you to a surprise." I said.
Simba's eyes widen. "Surprise?!"
"Yes."
"For what?"
"For being a good nephew of course."
Simba jumps overjoyed. "Oh boy!"
I smile evilly as we enter inside the gorge. So far things are falling right into plan.
"Now you wait here. Your father has a marvelous surprise for you."
Simba and I are near a rock, underneath a small tree.
"Oooh. What is it?" Simba asks.
"If I told you, it wouldn't be a surprise, now would it?" I say.
"If you tell me, I'll still act surprised."
"Ho ho ho. You are such a naughty boy."
Simba whines. "Come on, uncle Scar."
I shake my head. "No no no no no no no. This is just for you and your daddy. You know, a sort of... father-son... thing. Well! I'd better go get him."
"I'll go with you."
"No!" I snap, then quickly change back to playful matter. "Heh heh heh. No. Just stay on this rock. You wouldn't want to end up in another mess like you did with the hyenas..."
Simba looks shocked. "You know about that?"
"Simba, everybody knows about that."
"Really?"
"Oh, yes. Lucky Daddy was there to save you, eh?" I say clearly enjoying myself. I put a paw on Simba's shoulder. "Oh... and just between us, you might want to work on that little roar of yours. Hmm?"
I start to pull away.
Simba looks down sad. "Oh... Okay..."
I pat Simba roughly on the head, then move off.
"Hey, Uncle Scar, will I like the surprise?"
"Simba, it's to DIE for."
I wait to see if Simba has any other questions to ask. He sat there silent on the rock. I guess not. I smile evilly walking off fast to where I told Shenzi, Banza, and Ed to meet me at.
The plan is in motion...

Mufasa
Zazu and I are out doing our normal everyday patrol. You know, checking to see if everything in the Pride Lands are going great in a orderly fashion.
"Sir, it seems like the herds are on the move." Said Zazu.
"Odd..." I reply confused.
Very strange. That doesn't happen during this time in the afternoon.
"Mufasa, quick, in the gorge. Simba is down there!"
I turn and see Scar completely out of breath. He must of ran.
"Mufasa, stampede, in the gorge. Simba is down there!" He said, in a panic tone.
"Simba?! Zazu fly ahead!"
"Yes sir!"
Scar and I follow behind Zazu fast to the gorge. What in the world is Simba doing down there? I hope he's not hurt or worse...dead.

Jengo
Sky Leaf Pride...
"Jengo!"
"Yes, Taavi? Come in." I say, after yawning.
I had just awaken from my afternoon nap. Zaina is still out trying to cheer up Ama about Zawadi's unknown absence. Ama thinks it's her fault that Zawadi left home. The two had a bad argument.
Taavi walks inside the cave. "Bad news."
I stand up and stretch. "How bad? Is Zawadi found??"
"It's not about Zawadi, it's about your cousin Mufasa."
"The Pride Land's King?"
Taavi's eyes sadden. "He's dead..."
My eyes widen with shock. "D-Dead?"
"Yes. Zazu, Mufasa's majordomo passed on the sad message to everyone."
"No..."
Taavi put a paw on my shoulder. "I am so sorry."
"Did the message say how he died?" I ask.
"Yes, stampede. They even tried to find Mufasa's son the young Prince. His body is no where to be found. Nothing but his scent and dust they say."
"I know Sarabi is going through a hard time. I must tell Zaina and go now."
Taavi nods. "I'll watch over the pride and tell Zaina. Go ahead, this is important."
"Thank you!"
I hug Taavi and run out the cave heading straight to the Pride Lands.
