*Uru's POV*

Next Day, Early Morning...

I woke up as the sun's bright light enter inside the cave. My loud yawn caused for the whole pride to wake up. Oops, my bad! Ahadi got up stretching his legs and shook out his dark colored mane.

"Good morning, honey!"

He smiled after licking the side of my muzzle. "Good morning, my beautiful flower. How are the Cubs?"

I look behind me seeing our Cubs piled up on top of each other sleeping with cute snores. Muffy's (Mufasa) snore seem to be the loudest. I put a paw over my mouth and quietly giggled.

"Sleeping." I replied to Ahadi.

Ahadi walked over to the caves exit. "Let them rest for a few more minutes. They're going to need all energy once the ceremony starts. I'm going to Rafiki's tree now and see what time!"

I nod watching him step outside. He's gone and I'm stuck with our three adorable little furry Cubs. Muffy is snoring loud, Taka is drooling, and Athena is kicking her paws around. Poor girl must be having a nightmare. One paw accidentally hit Muffy on the side of his face. He open his big red eyes lowering his ears with a cry.

"Shhhh, it's okay Mufasa." I pick him up gently by the scruff of his back and place him inside my warm arms.

He calmed down. I lick his small head repeatedly grooming it. Today is the presentation. I have to make sure my Cubs look nice even though Ahadi said he'll have one of the pride lionesses to do it for me. It was a good idea, but I prefer grooming my own children. I don't trust them being in anyone's paws yet but my mate Ahadi, mother in- law Amina, Rafiki, and my parents.

Speaking of my parents...

Zuzu flew inside the cave. She bowed down in front of me spreading her wings. "Good morning, my Queen."

I nod. "Good morning, Zuzu! Did your egg hatch yet?"

"No, not yet. I'm still patiently waiting!"

"Just let me know when so I can go meet the cute little he or she. I'm sure in the future it'll grow up to be a great majordomo like you, Zuzu!"

Zuzu made a blush and smiled. "Thank you, that's so kind of you Uru. I'll keep you updated! Now, I've come to tell you your parents are outside the cave waiting to come in and meet the royal Cubs. Should I let them?"

I look surprised, placing a paw on my chest. "My parents?!"

"Yes, your highness. Is this now a bad time?"

"No, no, no, no. Please let them come in! I haven't seen my parents since me and Ahadi's wedding. Also when they came and paid respect attending King Mohatu's funeral."

Zuzu nod and went to go invite my parents in. Next I hear paw steps and they came pretty fast. I took my eyes off Mufasa who's fallen back into a deep sleep inside my arms. It was my mother walking in fast. She's excited to meet my Cubs.

"Oh Uru, you done a good job!" She smiled down at Mufasa seeing him first.

My mother head bud me, then lick my right cheek. I return the head bud and turn my head behind me a little.

"There's two more in the back of me!" I pointed with my paw.

My father went to go look. "Wow, three cubs huh? I see you and Ahadi's genes are strong. But this female color pelt looks almost close to her grandfather Mohatu's!"

I look over at Athena my only daughter. I never paid attention to that. My dad is right, she does take after Ahadi's dad Mohatu fur color almost. Oh my gosh, I have to tell Ahadi when he gets back!

"Doesn't she, Milia?" My father asked my mom.

My mom nodded while walking close up to Athena, who's still laying on top of her brother Taka asleep. "Yes, indeed James."

My ears move around like a radar hearing loud paw steps and conversations enter inside the cave. I see its Ahadi back finally and he's got Rafiki with him. Rafiki bowed down to me and my parents. My parents are still King and Queen, but at a different pride. A pride that I was originally born and raised in. When I reach adulthood, I met Ahadi and fell in love.

So I ran off with him to the Pride lands. Yeah, I know I should've told my parents first before I had ran off but they understood. My father was like that when he met my mom, so it was all okay and no drama thankfully. Mohatu and his mate Amina welcomed us with open arms.

"Hello King James and Queen Milia, current leaders of the Sky Leaf Lands/Pride." Rafiki greeted.

My mother hugged Rafiki, "Hello, Rafiki!"

My father stood beside her. "Hello! I see your here to begin the ceremony?"

Rafiki nodded. He's holding a large tortoise shell. Inside it are items like fruit, clay, and water. He sat it down in front of me. Ahadi hand Rafiki his stick that he always carry around. Rafiki used it as spoon mixing the water and clay. After that, he open a piece of fruit putting it inside mixing that as well.

"May I see the Cubs?" He asked.

I nod giving him Mufasa first. He took him in his arms. He dip a finger in the mixed ingredients and spread it across Mufasa's forehead. Then he grab some sandy dust from the ground and sprinkle it all over Mufasa's head. Mufasa opened his eyes with a loud sneeze.

My mom and I chuckled. Rafiki gave me back Mufasa. He pick up Taka and Athena doing the same exact thing spreading the clay fruit mix on their forehead and sprinkling dust. Unlike Mufasa, they didn't sneeze. They just stared up at Rafiki with curious eyes.

"Okay, little ones. We're done here!" Rafiki said, laying down both Cubs at my side.

I smile at Rafiki. "Thank you. Are all the animals here yet?"

Zuzu came in the cave. "Yes your highness, everyone is outside waiting for the presentation to start!"

Ahadi nod following Rafiki and Zuzu out the cave. "Good. Let's start, shall we?"

I got up picking Mufasa up by the scruff of his back. My mom took Taka and my dad took Athena since I can't carry all three Cubs in my mouth. We all walked out the cave climbing up to the very top of Pride Rock. I know Mohatu is looking down at us all right now happy.
