A/N: The illustration above is to show Kopa. Yes, surprise! Kopa is one of the old characters that will make a big return in the story. I have decided to bring him back and for him to have another storyline 😊. He's an awesome guy why not? I see him and Zawadi are you guys most favorite characters.

I also received so many questions from users about will Kopa ever return to his old home? or will he ever know who his father is? We will find out both of those answers later on in the book. Promise? Great!

Kopa

The sun now shifts on to the other side of the wide blue cloudless sky announcing the new afternoon day. I had just awaken from a nice long sleep. My loud yawn had caused for my wife Vitani to wake up too. We were both napping underneath a large shady tree.

Ah, my sweet Vitani. It's been years since we left the Pride Lands and first got married and i still get butterflies whenever I am around her like now. My stomach gets a tingly feeling. She is just so beautiful! My favorite thing about her is her blue eyes and pink nose.

I remember the day she told me i was going to be a father. Man! I was jumping with pure joy and excitement. Vitani and i both knew that we were going to be great parents. We've done a great job raising our first small litter, "Hashaan" and "Aiysha". They're adults now.

Our last born "Sahel" is almost at teen-hood. He has already grown brown hair on top of his head and a little brown hair on his chest. But he still has the childlike facial looks and voice. Once he reaches teen-hood, his body will grow much longer and masculine with his voice more deepened.

It's amazing how he shares a perfect mixture of Vitani and I 's color fur. He has Vitani's pink nose, with one eye brown (left) and the other blue (right). His ears are tipped black just like mines were when i was a cub. Soon he'll grow out of it. Sahel is going to grow into one handsome lion.

I bet your wondering how our oldest children look like too? Aiysha who came out the womb first, she has my yellow fur and light yellow paws, Vitani's pink nose, blue eyes, and hair tuft. She is very pretty!

Hashaan who was born a few minutes after his sister Aiysha, he has Vitani's dark peach fur, cream paws, my dark brown nose, light brown eyes and mane. Nice looking guy!

Although they are both grown, we all still live together as a one big happy family. As funny as it sounds, we are a pride. Just a small one. We never thought about looking for lions to increase. Instead, we kept it this way for years. We are surprisingly doing just fine. We are able to survive finding a good food and water source. The only thing we don't have is a cave to sleep in at night. But that's okay! Laying underneath a tree or on a rock isn't so bad.

My two best friends "Kam" and "Chris" have decided to move on and create their own pride some place else. It was hard to let them go, they were like real brothers to me. But they also deserve to have a good and happy life too. I always wondered if they've found mates and started out a family. I told then to come visit me whenever they decide. There is no rush in time!

"Good afternoon, hubby!" Vitani greeted, while licking under my chin since her head is resting on my chest.

We were sleeping on our backs on the grass funny as it sounds.

A soft purr escaped from my mouth. I smile, "Good afternoon, my flower!"

"That was the best nap ever! I haven't had that in a long time."

"I think the last time nap we've had a decent nap was before we became parents."

Vitani laughed. "Very true!"

I laughed too, but then thought about our three children. "So, where are the kids?"

"Before I had went to sleep, I remember Hashaan had took Sahel on his first hunting lesson and Aiysha had went to go do some walks."

"That's good for Sahel and Hashaan to have a brotherly day. Why is Aiysha walking alone? She should have taken one of us with her."

Vitani chuckles. "Kopa, you worry so much. She will be fine! This land is safe. We are technically the only lions around. We've been here and haven't seen a lion here nor a hyena."

I sigh. "Your right, Tani. I just still cant believe she is pregnant. I'm going to be a grandfather! Oh boy..."

"It's time. We are aging and in a few more years we will become elders. We don't want our children to have grandcubs right after we die. That wouldn't be fun! I want to actually be in our grandkids lives and spend every day with them."

"Me too! Gosh, we are aging. It is almost time for another generation to take over."

"Yeah."

Vitani looked up at the sky and smiled at the thought. "Our children will do just fine while we're gone."

I looked up at the sky. "I hope so too! Did Aiysha ever spoke to you about who her child's father is? I'd like to meet him if so."

"No, she never mentions it. I think a rouge may have came across and did his normal business. They always pick the young ones since they're easier to fool. But Aiysha will be okay. She has her family to help take care and watch over. I wouldnt let anyone hurt my daughter our grandcub."

"Or grandcubs! It could be more than one, you never know."

She nodded, "Yeah true."

I looked ahead seeing Aiysha walking straight towards is between the tall grasses. "Speaking of, here she comes now!" I point with my paw.

Vitani and I both sat up together and smile seeing our beautiful daughter arrive.

"Hello, mother and father!" She greeted.

Aiysha head bud her mother and then gave me a hug.

"Hello sweet pea! How do you feel?" I asked.

Aiysha laid down under the shade joining us. "Good, just been getting my daily dose of exercise. I decided to rest now after noticing my paws are swollen."

Vitani massaged her paws. "Good. Don't worry sweetie, have more months to go! Have you been drinking plenty of water like I've told you?"

"Yes, Mom."

Aiysha sound annoyed as she rolled her blue eyes. I chuckle at Vitani. And i thought i was the overprotective one!

"Honey, i just want to make sure your baby or babies will come out into the world very healthy. It is important! We don't want any problems while your giving birth."

"Yes mom, i know. You told me this a million of times. I know my baby or babies will turn out okay. I'm just hoping that the father will hopefully show up someday and be there for them. That is my most biggest concern."

I placed my paw on top of Aiysha's and gave her a reassuring nod. "Don't worry he will. If he doesn't, then I'll have a one on one private talk with him and it won't be friendly."

Vitani hit her tail at my side while rolling her blue eyes. "Oh, stop it Kopa. We don't want to stress out our daughter or the baby."

Aiysha snorted. "Yeah besides, it's not a big of a deal. Well, it is...but it doesn't matter. I will always be in my baby or babies life. I made that a promise when i first found out I was pregnant. Even though this was very unexpected. I didn't intend being pregnant at this time, but hey. Miracles happen! Right?"

Vitani smiles while nodding her head. "Right. That's the spirit honey!"

Aiysha leaned over hugging us both. "Thank you both for being here for my pregnancy."

I smile warmly. "Of course sweet pea! We are your parents. We will always guide and love you no matter what. We were once your age when we had you and your brothers."

"And you see we've made it very successfully. We worked as a team!" Vitani added. "With me, your dad, and your brothers, i think this baby will be well protected."

Aiysha looked down at her furry belly smiling at her growing bump. "You're right!"

We all watched her bump in silence. I know it sounds weird and your probably laughing. But it's amazing to watch how life forms. I could have sworn I've seen something move!

"Did your baby just kick?" I asked, with widen eyes.

Aiysha eyes welled up with tears. Not tears with sadness, but tears of pure joy. "Y-Yes! I think I'm having more than one. It's multiple kicks at once."

Vitani laughs. "Wow, they must be having a party in there! That is so wonderful sweetie. Well now we know to not expect one cub."

My eyes also welled up with tears of joy. I cant believe a new life will be running around here soon.

Being a granddad is going to be one of the most greatest days of my life...
