A/N: Okay so the top of the photo is to show Mheetu and the bottom is his pregnant wife Haiba. Yes, surprise☺️! Another old character has returned. If you remember, Mheetu is Nala's baby brother. He is also aging now himself more than Kiara and Kovu. He has always been one of my favorite Disney characters. I just wished he had a role in the actual films 😔. Good thing he does in my books! Haha 😆

Mheetu

Today is my turn to watch Haiba and I 's son "Mosi". Haiba wanted some free time to hang out with the lionesses and my niece Kiara to catch up on some gossip I assume and for them to also ask millions of questions about our unborn cub.

Yep, it is still exciting to know that i am going to be a father again to another new life. This will probably be the last time though. I realize that I am getting old. I am aging more than my niece Kiara and her husband Kovu. It makes sense, since I am much older in age than they are. Haiba probably won't be able to bare another cub after this one since she is also aging herself.

I am truly blessed to make it to see my niece rule the Pride Lands. She has done such a great job. My closest friend Simba and my big sister Nala, who are her parents didn't have a chance. They only saw a glimpse of Kiara's reign in the beginning when my nephews Heri and Makosa were small cubs.

I know they would have been proud just as I am. I smile widely  each time when I think about it. Now, it is time for a new generation. I only hope and pray that Mosi and his sibling will both have good futures under Heri and Auni's ruling. I am glad that Heri has returned to claim his rightful place as future King.

Makosa i hope is out there living his most best happy life with Bahiya his wife. News had broke out last night from Kiara saying that Bahiya had left the Pride Lands to join him. It makes sense! I mean, that is her husband. It is a wife's job to stand beside her husband no matter what. In the past if i had only came to visit the Pride Lands to see my sister and then leave, Haiba probably would have left Pride Rock to join me.

Sometimes love makes you do crazy stupid things.

"Daaaaaad!" A small voice calls.

I shake my head, clearing my mind from my thoughts and smile looking down at my son Mosi.

"Yes, son?" I ask.

Mosi chuckles. "I have been calling you for five minutes now! Can I please go to the watering hole to play with Adia, Chauna, and our other friends?"

"Hmmm, sure. But I will have to come with you if their parents aren't tagging along to keep watch. Even though the hyenas have calmed down, it is still not trusted for you cubs be out without an escort. It's so risky and dangerous! If something were to happen to you, i dont know what to do..."

"Well, I know Uncle Kion is busy at work and Aunt Aala is hunting lunch with our friends mommies. So i think we are alone. Dad, can you come with us?"

"Yes, i will come. With me tagging along i know for a fact you will be safe from harm. Are your cousins and friends at the watering hole already?"

Mosi nodded, "Yes! Now let's hurry. I made a promise earlier to be there after breakfast. But Mommy had to give me bath first, which made me late."

I chuckle and pat his head, causing his growing hair tuft to fall over his bluish green eyes. "Heh, alright sport come on."

Mosi cheered and climbed up on my back. He likes riding on my back wherever we go. I walked out of the cavern and walked down Pride Rock. I choose to walk down a path instead of the tall grasses. The path made it a more faster way to the waterhole. The grasses would be longer and Mosi is already late.

I walked in silence while Mosi is humming a tune. I cant believe he is almost a teenager soon! I remember when he was first born laying inside of Haiba's fury arms. He was so small, innocent, and precious. They grow up so fast...

Now Mosi has grown a dark brown hair tuft on his head and a small patch of hair on his fury chest. He still has a childlike facial look and voice. Soon, his body will become more longer and masculine added with a deeper voice. He will be very handsome indeed just like his father of course! Haha.

I know for a fact Mosi is going to be a great big brother to his new sibling. His sibling will need someone to look after him or her once me and Haiba join the heavens someday. It's going be a very serious responsibility for Mosi. I have never got a chance to talk to him about it. So I decide to wait until we leave the waterhole.

"Hooray, we're here!" Mosi cheered.

We have finally made it to the watering hole. Adia, Chauna, and other cubs were already playing in the water. Mosi jumped down quick from my back and had went to join the fun. I stayed back and decided to watch the youngsters play. I found myself a nice warm rock to lay on and sunbathe. It gave me a great view. I can see the kids play from here which is good.

After watching the cubs play which seemed like an hour, it was time to head back to Pride Rock for lunch. I can hear the lionesses roar, calling out for their cubs to come home. Adia, Chauna, and the other cubs had all said their goodbyes to Mosi before running home.

Mosi leaped over to me with a smile. "Hey dad! I am ready to go now."

I stood up from the rock hoping down. "Cool. Let's hurry home quick before there isn't enough food left to eat. You know we live in a very big pride which means more mouths to feed."

Mosi climbed up on my back again and nodded. "Yeah, I know."

I turn around and started heading back to Pride Rock which isn't far from the watering hole at all. Just a few minutes away! I begin to think about that talk I wanted to have with Mosi about his new sibling. Now would be the time since we are alone.

"Mosi?" I call.

He stopped humming his normal tune. "Yes, dad?"

"I've been wanting to have this talk with you for a while now and-"

"Wait, am i in trouble?"

I chuckle shaking my head. "No, your not."

Mosi sighed with relief. "Okay, good."

"Anyway, i wanted to talk to you about your new sibling. I know this is a lot to handle and is something very new to you. But, I want you to try your most hardest to look after your brother or sister. You have a big responsibility now. One day your mother and I won't be here. It will be your job next to take care and protect your sibling."

"Yeah, I figured."

I smile. "I know you didn't ask for this, Mosi. Trust me, when your mom told me she was pregnant again i was shocked. I thought you were going to be our only child. I guess the great kings decided us to have another and bless you with someone to play and enjoy life with."

Mosi nodded, "True, I see."

"Having a sibling is going to be the best thing ever. You will see! You are going to get so attached."

"Dad, do you miss Aunt Nala?"

I stop smiling. My face sort it softened and my ears had lowered. "Why, yes of course son."

Mosi smiles. "I know I don't remember her much since I was a much smaller cub back then, but I do remember how close you two were."

"Yes, we were very close. I loved having a big sister. In fact, i have two! I don't think i have ever told you that before. Maybe when you were younger..."

"No you haven't. Cool! What's her name? Where is she from?"

I laugh at Mosi's excitement. "Her name is Neera. Her and your Aunt Nala were born close in age. I was born a couple of years after. I never had a chance to grow with Neera because she had already left the Pride Lands. That was what Aunt Nala had told me. She didn't tell me the whole story though. I found that out from Neera herself."

Mosi looks shocked. "Wait, so you did had a chance to meet miss Neera?"

"Yes. When you weren't even born yet. She returned to the Pride Lands shocking every one because they thought she was dead. She was last scene when she was a cub. My mother, your grandmother Sarafina had lost her to human hunters."

"Wow!"

I nodded, "Yeah it's a long story. But I am glad to know that she got safe. She is marry, her husband is named Jacob who is also your Uncle. They live in a pride far from the Pride Lands."

Mosi smiled again. "Cool! Do you ever think about seeing her again?"

"I do sometimes. It was nice to know that have another sibling. But we didn't become close like your Aunt Nala. Nala was like a second mother to me. Before I had left the Pride Lands being chased by hyenas when I was a cub, Nala took good care of me. She made sure that I was well protected when my mother wasn't around."

"Wow..."

I stop walking as we arrive in front of Pride Rock. Mosi slid down my back and walked up to my right side.

I look down at him with seriousness. "That is why it is important you also become close to your sibling. I dream if you two becoming like your Aunt Nala and me. You will need each other in life. My sister was a great sibling, mother, Aunt, grandmother, and Queen."

Mosi looked up at the afternoon sky. Winds blow through our fur.

"Yes, she was dad. I agree!"

I smile at Mosi and licked the top of his head. "Now come on, lunch is waiting for us and I know your mother is probably wondering where we are. Race ya up Pride Rock?"

Mosi crouched down in starter position. "Race ya! 1...2...3."

We both ran up Pride Rock together. I couldn't help but to laugh and smile.

I know Mosi will be a great big brother...
