It was a cool morning in the Pride Lands. Wild herds stood eating on tall green grass. Nearby lives a large popular lion pride. "Pride Rock" is the name. Its what we call home of the great Kings and Queens from the past. The lions are just now waking up.

In the far back inside of the warm cave sleeps the current royal couple, King Simba and Queen Nala. Beside them lays their daughter Princess Kiara and her boyfriend Prince Kovu.

"Morning already?" Kiara asks, sleepily.

Kovu nods, "Yes." He leans close smiling and gave her a lick on the cheek.

"Good morning you two!" Simba greets.

"Good morning." Kovu and Kiara say in unison.

"Today is going to be a busy day. Kovu, I would like for you to join Zazu and I on patrol today."

Kovu nod his head. "Cool!"

"Kiara, I want you to give Vitani and what use to be Zira's pride a nice tour around the Pride Lands. You know, teaching them the territories, meeting the animals that live here, and the kingdom rules."

Kiara nod her head with a smile. "Sure, Daddy!"

"Perfect! Come along, Kovu. Nala, we will be back sometime in the afternoon." Simba said, head-budding his wife.

Nala smiles. "Be careful."

Simba walks out the cave with Kovu following slowly behind.

"Seems like Daddy is really trying to bond with Kovu more." Kiara said.

Nala lays her head back down over her paws. "Well honey, that's how it's suppose to be. Especially if Kovu wants to become family soon."

"Yeah. I'm going to go find Vitani."

"Alright."

Kiara got up and exit out the cave going behind Pride Rock to go look for Vitani.

"Vitaaaaaniiiii!" She calls.

"Yes?"

Vitani was talking with some of her old pride sisters.

"Good morning everyone." I nod.

"Good morning, Princess!" They kindly greet.

"My father wants me to show you all around the Pride Lands today. If that's okay?"

Vitani nod. "That'll be nice."

"Okay, let's go. Is this everyone?"

"Some of them are still in the cave." Said one lioness.

"I'll get them!" Said another.

Kiara smiles. "Great."

Vitani pulls Kiara aside. "Kiara, can I speak with you privately?"

"Uh, yeah sure. What's up?"

"I don't think your pride like mines. They give us glares and when we try to associate they back off. You, your parents, and brother are the only ones that seem to like us. I'm not feeling welcome here. Maybe it was a bad idea for your father to let us come..."

Kiara put her paw on Vitani's shoulder. "Oh Vitani, it's only been a day. The lionesses will come around. They're just not use to all of these new changes yet. It's hard for everyone. Give it a few extra days or a week at least."

Vitani looks down sadly. "Then how can I show them that I'm nothing like my mother?"

"By joining the hunting party."

"W-What?"

"Your excellent in hunting! Show them what you're made of."

Vitani shook her head. "No, I can't. I'll look like a fool!"

Kiara roll her eyes and chuckle. "Look, your a better hunter than me. If they see that your good they'll like you and put you on the team. It's the first step to get closer to them. Just give it a try, you'll see!"

"Mmm, okay."

The two hug. Vitani can sense a small friendship starting between them.

Kiara spot the rest of the lionesses coming. "Cool, they're here. Let's start the tour shall we?"

The lionesses and Vitanj nod.

"I wonder who were those three males that Kion had describe to me yesterday." Said Simba.

Zazu sits on his left shoulder. "Probably some rouges just passing through. You see they haven't come back yet."

"Good. Let them stay out. You see Kovu, in order to become King you have to remain strong and show other male lions who's boss. Claim your territory ALWAYS."

Kovu nods. "Okay."

"Losing your title and pride is a bad thing. You would hate to start all over." Said Zazu.

"Exactly." Simba nods.

"AAAAAH!!!" Someone yelled.

"What in the world was that?" Kovu asks.

"Sounds like someone is in trouble. Let's find out!" Simba said, running.

When they got close they found a lioness chasing after Timon and Pumbaa. Simba took charge tackling her. The two rolled a few times. He pinned her down strongly and roar. Kovu ran up to Timon and Pumbaa.

"Are you guys okay?" He ask.

Timon nod. "Yeah. Thank the great kings you and had Simba came. We could have been goners!"

"She tried to kill us!" Said Pumbaa.

"Who are you?!" Simba ask the lioness.

The lioness snarl and swipe her paw at Simba's nose.

"Feisty one aren't ya?"

"Release me!"

"Not until you tell me who you are and why you're in the Pride Lands. I am the King and I will NOT tolerate disrespect!"

She roll her eyes. "My name is Neera. Now can I go?"

"Wait, Neera?"

"Yes, that's what I said. Can you not hear?"

Simba laughed. "Neera, it's me. It's Simba!"

"Simba?" Her eyes widen.

Simba got off Neera so she can stand. She circles around him.

"My you have grown!"

"Same to you! We all thought you were dead."

"And your a King! Man, I have been gone a long time..."

The two friends hug.

"What made you come back?" He ask.

Neera smile. "To see my family. How's my sister?"

"She's doing good. In fact, me and your sister are married."

"WHAT?!!"

Simba laughed. Neera gasp with surprise.

"That's so good, congrats. I knew it! I knew she had a crush on you. Haha cute!"

"Your an aunt too!"

"You guys had Cubs also?!"

"They're not Cubs anymore, both young adults. We have a son and daughter. Their names are Kion and Kiara."

"Beautiful names! Man, I feel so old even though I'm younger than Nala." She chuckles.

Kovu walks slowly forward with Timon and Pumbaa.

"Uh, Simba...who's your friend?" Kovu asks.

"This is Neera, Nala's sister." He smiled. "She was one of my close friends while growing up."

"No wonder she look so much like Nala! You two are almost twins!!" Said Timon.

Neera look down feeling embarrassed. "Sorry for trying to eat the both of you. I didn't know-"

Pumbaa laughs. "It's okay, we have already experience this with your sister. She tried to eat me before too!"

Zazu smiled. "Nala will be so thrilled. Should I get her, sire?"

Simba shook his head. "Nah. Let's all walk back home together."

"Okay." Neera said, following behind them to Pride Rock.

Will Nala be happy seeing her young sister again?

How will Kiara and Kion react, since now they have an aunt??

Will Neera stay and join the pride???
