Night...

"Kiara, where are we going?" Kovu asks.

Kiara giggles. "To our favorite hang out spot silly."

Kiara led Kovu to the grassy spot where they both use to lay down and watch the stars at night.

Kovu chuckle and nod. "Oh, I see. We haven't been here in a while."

"I know."

They both sat down. Kovu looks up at the bright stars.

"It's beautiful tonight too. Just like you!"

Kiara blushes and lick Kovu's right cheek. "D'awwww!"

Kovu smiles and nuzzle her. They both purr watching the stars with silence.

"Should I tell him now or wait a bit more longer?" Kiara thought to herself.

"I'm so lucky to have her. I promise to never leave her side no matter what!" Kovu thought to himself.

"Kovu?." Kiara calls.

"Yes?" He answer.

"Remember the day of the war when you said you wanted to start your own pride?"

"Yeah. But I thought you wanted to stay here in the Pride Lands?"

"I do."

"Then why-"

I cut him off. "I'm pregnant!"

Kovu's eyes widen. "WHAT?!"

Kovu falls over and faint.

Kiara gasps. "Oh my gosh, Kovu!"

She rush to his side and lick his face repeatedly to wake him. Kovu slowly open his green eyes.

"What...what happen?"

"You fainted. Are you okay? Maybe this wasn't a good time to tell you yet."

Kovu looks confused. "What are you talking about?"

Kiara lower her ears with sadness. "I told you I was pregnant and you yelled what and fainted. This isn't the right time. I'm sorry for telling you so early."

"Kiara, I am not disappointed."

"But you-"

"Being a father is one of the things I always wanted to become."

Kiara smiled. "Really?"

Kovu nod smiling back. "Yeah." He sits half way up, "I never had a father figure in my life. It was always my mother. I want to ALWAYS be in my sons or daughters life. No matter the distance. I want to be able to teach my son how to be King and my daughter how to hunt. I want to be at your side while your giving birth. I want to be the one they call daddy. I want protect my daughter away from boys whit rh to break her heart or teach my son how to get the ladies. It just so many things I-"

Kiara place a paw on Kovu's mouth and giggle.

"Sorry." He said.

"That's very sweet." She said, nuzzling him. "I know you'll be a great father."

"Have you told your parents or brother?"

"Nope. Only you and Rafiki knows!"

Kovu looks down nervously. "Your father is going to kill me."

Kiara lifts a brow. "Why say that?"

"Because I didn't marry you first."

"Well, you could propose now if you'd like or tomorrow in front of everyone."

Kovu laughs and rub his nose against her own. "Tomorrow sounds better. I need to prepare lines on what to say first."

Kiara nodded. They both snuggle underneath each other warmly watching the stars again. Kovu and Kiara are going to be parents soon. So many things are happening quick! First pregnancy now...marriage? Are the cute young couple doing things too fast? Will Simba approve? How will Kion and Vitani react??
