Fuli still couldn't believe it. That Kion was back in the Pridelands, back after being away for so long. 

It felt lonely for her, considering that she is a cheetah, but deep down inside her, that she loved Kion , more than friends. 

The cheetah sighs as Jasiri notices her friend's behavior. "Is something bothering you, Fuli? You can always talk to me about it." 

The cheetah looks directly at the hyena, as she said, "It's just ... It's Kion. I still can't believe that he's back ." 

Jasiri nods with how amaze that Kion had grown up since she first encounter him when he was just a cub. 

"Yes, it's true. Kion has indeed grown since I last saw him. Although, I am curious about something." The hyena said, which causes the cheetah to look at her. 

"What?" The cheetah asks.

"Considering the Outsiders and the Pridelanders are united, how does Kion feel about all of this? 

If I was in his paws, I would be shocked for a week." 

Kion searched high and low for Vitani. He thought, "Man, Vitani. It's no wonder what she meant by having the same nightmare. She watched her own brother die in front of her. 

I have to talk to her." 

The red lion continued searching for the Outlander , as he bumps into Janja. 

"Janja!' The lion said, in total surprise of seeing him after so long. 

"How you know me? Who are you?" The hyena asks. 

"It's me, Kion." Kion explains to the friendly hyena as the hyena looks directly at the lion but soon realize his old friend by the lion mark on his right arm. 

"Kion!" The hyena said as they muzzle in embrace. 

"I can't believe you're back! Look how much you've grown! I hardly recognize you. " Janja said as Kion rubs his head. 

"Well, Samahani for being away for so long. I'm here with the Guard and with Kiara and Kovu." 

"Whoa. Kiara and Kovu is here in the Outlands? That's amazing. Not that I'm grateful that the King and Queen of the Pridelands are here, but why?"

"You should ask Jasiri that. I'm looking for Vitani. She ran off somewhere." Kion explains.  

"I saw her that way. Near the water hole. " Janja said. 

"Asante , Janja. " Kion said . When he saw Vitani, he knew that he had to comfort the lioness. 

Vitani was all by herself , thinking of her late brother. 

"Vitani?" The lioness turns around to see it was Kion. 

"How you find me?" She asks. Kion walks towards her, "Janja told me you would be here. Kovu.. he um, told me what happened to Nuka. 

I have no idea-"

"You and the Lion Guard had no idea of how difficult it is of loosing a loved one! I was all alone, Kion, for three years. 

Seeing Kovu so happy with Kiara, it's unfair that only one of us gets to be happy." 

Kion rushes at her as he pins her down to the ground. 

"Stop it! You're just a lioness that was part of the Outlands! You're different, and unique! Nuka must've known that." Kion said. 

They start to walk back as Kion asks, "So, um, about your brother, how did Kovu helped you changed sides?"

"Well... Mother blamed Kovu for Nuka's death, and gave him a scar as a punishment. Kovu didn't believe he killed his own brother and set off to the Pridelands to convince Simba that he wasn't part of the ambush." 

"Did it work? Did Kovu convinced my father?" Kion asks curiously. 

"I don't know about that , unfortunately, because Mother planned an attack on the Pridelanders soon after." 

"Oh." Kion said. 

Kiara saw her brother, "Kion, Vitani, you're back. I guess that you did find Vitani. You're ok?"

"Yeah, I just needed some steam off. I'm not over Nuka's death yet after all." 

Bunga said, "As my uncles say, "Hakuna Matata." 

"So, um, back to the story, I did try to tell Simba that I wasn't part of the ambush, but he didn't listen to me, or to Kiara. He exiled me." Kovu explained. 

The Lion Guard gasps of the revelation. 

"Whoa. The King, Simba, banished you?!? That's impossible." Ono said. 

Kion stayed silent, as the young red lion was still wondering about what happened between him and Vitani . 

Kiara nods, confirming it, "Yeah, and I wasn't too thrilled of the result either. I tried to tell Dad that Kovu is innocent too, but he wouldn't listen to me, so I yelled at him, telling him that he wasn't like Mufusa." 

Fuli said, "Whoa. I never suspect you would be that angry to Simba." 

Beshte said, "Well, like my dad always say, "You live long enough, you'll see everything. "

"After I said that, I ran to the den, crying, but you know me too well, I didn't want to stand and do nothing. I found a little crack on the back of the den, and pushed myself out. " 

Kion raises an eyebrow on his sister, "So, you disobeyed Dad and went in search of Kovu, didn't you?"

Vitani said, "I didn't suspect you would do that, Kiara. That explains of how you and Kovu managed to find us on your own." 

"Kovu here, tried to pursued me to leave the Pridelands and form our own pride. But when he told me , "We are One" , I remembered Dad's lesson. 

He meant that We're all connected to the Great Circle of Life, we are a family, both Pridelander and Outsider united . 

I knew that if we did leave, the rivalry will never end, and our prides wouldn't have peace again." 

Kovu said, shrugging, "I was shocked by Kiara's suggestion of stopping the war, but I knew in my heart that she was right, so we went to find the two Prides on our own." 

Ono said , "That wouldn't be an easy task to stop Simba and Zira, isn't? They simply hated each other to pieces!" 

Beshte shushed the egret, "Shush! Ono, that's plain rude, especially in front of the royal family!" 

"It's fine, Beshte, don't sweat it. Besides, Kovu and Kiara made it just in time before my mother and Simba begin their final match against each other. I hate to admit it, I never seen Kovu so determined to stop Mother." Vitani said, "And boy , Kiara really is mad at Simba. 

Don't be on her bad side." 

"I guess you did it all on your own while I was away. I wished I could've seen it." Kion said in total amazement. 

The group went to the Pridelands as Kion was up outside of the Den in Pride Rock, unsure of this new Pride that he has to protect now. 

"Kion. " He turns to see Vitani . 

"Vitani." He said. 

They walked to the grassfield and lay on the grass to see the stars. 

"Look! There's one looks like a little lion. See the tail?" 

"Yeah, hey! Those two looks like two lions defending the Pridelands. Ha! I haven't done this for a long time now." Kion said, smiling. 

"Really? I never done anything like this before. All my life, Mother trained me to hate your family, and now I don't.." Vitani said, as she got up from the ground as Kion gets up from the grass looking at her, "I don't know if I have darkness within me too." 

Kion said, "I know it's hard of loosing Nuka , but I'm here to support you, Vitani. I'm not going to leave the Pride ever again." 

"How you make a decision like that, Kion, you left us." Vitani said. 

Kion places his head under her chin and muzzles her as they embrace a hug together.
