Cal was sleeping in the bunker with all his other teammates, but then he started to toss back and forth in his sleep.

Cal: "No...no..."

Cal saw himself being chained to the wall, his shirt torn and his body all bruised up. Then a door in front of him opened revealing a silhouette.

???: "Heh heh heh heh, ready for your next lesson?"

Cal: "No...not again..."

???: "Well too bad."

The silhouette figure then started to surge red electricity in his hand and electrocuted Cal.

Cal: "Graahhhhhh! Aaaaarggggghhh!! Grrrraaaaaaaaahh!!!" He screams in pain.

Then Cal takes several gasps as he then wakes up from his nightmare. He then starts rubbing his eyes as he looks at his hands.

Cal: "I just...don't understand why this constantly happens to me...why..."

Kaleb: "Bad dream?"

Cal looks across the room to see Kaleb looking at him.

Cal: "Yeah...this has been happening every night and I don't really get enough sleep..."

Kaleb: "Hmm...when was the last time you had a decent sleep?"

Cal: "A decent sleep? Hm..."

Cal thought back to his days in high school and remembered when Katelynn was there with him. He smiled at the thought of Katelynn. Kaleb would smirk as he figured out why he was smiling.

Kaleb: "If shes the reason why you're able to get any decent sleep, then maybe you should dream about her." He said with a chuckle.

Cal: "Heh, yeah."

Kaleb: "Anyway, go back to sleep. We have an important mission tomorrow."

Cal nods and lays back in his bed. He slowly closes his eyes and started to dream about Katelynn smiling as she was standing in a plain, grassy field with wind blowing and her hair flying. He smiled as he then slept soundlessly.

THE NEXT DAY...

Cal and his teammates get in their gear and make their way to a transport helicopter. There were two transport helicopters, one was led by Jack and the other by Dominic, Saren's brother.

Jack: "Alright team, here's the plan: We're going to rendezvous with Avalan Rebels at some old ruins. Once we meet, we'll be taking part of capturing a base from Avalan Regime. The Avalan King doesn't know we are meeting with them so whenever we are approached by them, do attack unless we're compromised or attacked. Understood?"

Everyone: "Yes sir!"

Jeff: "So Saren, I heard your brother will be joining us on this mission."

Kai(Emerald Samurai): "Oh yeah, what's he like?"

Saren: "He has all the qualities that would describe him as a true leader. He's cunning, he's quick, and really well experienced. Also, no man has died under his leadership, which is really rare for a man who leads his squad in dangerous missions."

Cal(Caliber): "Wow...that's amazing!"

Emily(Ms. Nova): "No kidding!"

Kaleb(Static): "Hm...interesting. If that's true, he must be the best there is."

Jack cleared his throat.

Jack: "We're approaching the LZ. Ready up."

Everyone checks out their gear, ammunition, and weapons. The landing helicopters both land in the same zone. Once everyone disembarked, they checked their surroundings. Jack and Dominic walked up to each other to greet.

Dominic: "Captain Jack." He says as he extends a hand.

Jack: "Captain Samuels, glad to have you with us."

Dominic: "Same here, you're the only team with 'superheroes.' Must be nice." He said with a slight smile.

Everyone from Jack's team looked at him as if he was trying to imply something.

Saren: "Captain Samuels, it's been awhile."

Dominic saw Saren in the back and smiled deeply.

Dominic: "Hello little brother! Long time no see! What are you doing here?"

Saren: "I'm a part of this team now."

Dominic: "What happened to your last squad?"

Saren was silent until Dominic had face of realization.

Dominic: "I see...I'm sorry."

Saren: "The time for grieving has passed, let's get back on track."

Jack: "Right." Nods. "Let's move out."

Everyone nods and walks in a open formation through the jungle, making their way to the rendezvous point. Half an hour passes as they made it to the ruins. There, they could see damages caused by bullets and swords. They saw some dried up blood markings on the walls. Soldiers from Dominic's squad started talking.

(These are what standard G.A.P. Soldiers look like, depending on the environment:)

GAP Soldier 1: "Wonder what happened here."

GAP Soldier 2: "Whatever happened here, let's just hope the same don't happen to us."

GAP Soldier 3: "Yeah."

Dominic: "Cut the chatter, we should be meeting up with the rebels soon."

Soon enough, they saw up above on the ledges of the ruins, the Rebels were there. A familiar person jumped down along with a female Rebel leader.

Alan: "Welcome to the Kingdom of Avalan, Captains."

???: "We've been waiting for you."

Jeff: "Who are you?"

Artemis: "My name is Artemis Crow, I am Alan's younger sister, and second in command." She said as she looked at Jeff.

Cal examined the Rebel's uniforms.

Dominic : "Alright, now that we're here, what's next?" He asked as he looked at Alan.

Alan pulls out a map and everyone gathers around.

Alan: "This is how this will work: Two teams will infiltrate the base. One team will head to the security room to make sure that they can't call in reinforcements while the other team will free the workers that are being forced to perform hard labor.

Jeff: "Workers? You mean civilians?"

Artemis: "Yes, innocent people are being imprisoned for aiding the Rebels, even without evidence. This tyranny must end."

Jack: "And it will, we can assure you that."

Artemis nods.

Kaleb(Static): "So how will we be able to to get in undetected?"

Alan: "There is an mountain right above the base, there will be a watchtower with a lone sniper. We take out the sniper and me and my sister will provide overwatch while Jack's and Samuel's team will repel down."

Kai(Emerald Samurai): "I'll join on that too, just in case you need someone watching your back."

Saren: "What kind of security should we expect?"

Artemis: "There will be camera's watching almost every vital room and hallway within the base. Also, you will need the warden's keycard in order to release all the workers. His office should be here." She said as she pointed at the warden's office.

Jack: "Alright, my team will head to the security room and head to the warden's office. Captain Samuels will tend to the civilians."

Emily(Ms.Nova): "What will happen once everything is complete?"

Alan: "I will signal our men to storm the base, and Jack's team will aid in the fight."

Dominic: "Sounds like a plan." He says with a small smile.

Alan: "Any other questions?"

Everyone was silent until Cal started cracking his knuckles.

Cal(Caliber): "Let's do this." He said with determination.

A FEW HOURS LATER

It was late at night and visibility was low. The sniper at the watchtower was scouting the field with his scope.

Radio: "Watchtower-1, report."

The sniper goes to the radio beside him.

Avalan Sniper: "All clear from here, no signs of activity here."

Radio: "Roger that."

After that, his head was pierced by an arrow from behind, which was fired by Artemis. Everyone starts moving into position as Jack's and Dominic's teams prepare to repel.

Alan: "You're clear, move in." He says into their radio's.

Jack: "Copy."

He looks at Dominic and signals him with a nods. Everyone starts to slowly repel down into a narrow, dead end hallway. Once they all landed, the teams split up and head to their destinations.

Jack: "Ok team, here's an idea. Caliber, Saren, Static, you two head to the warden's office. Me, Jeff, and Nova will go the security room. We'll regroup afterwards."

Everyone nods and part ways. Once inside, Cal and Kaleb were sneaking in the hallways and peeking around corners. They saw two soldiers guarding the warden's office.

Cal(Caliber): "Two up ahead." He whispers.

Kaleb(Static): "I got this."

Kaleb grabbed a small grenade from his pocket and rolled it towards the soldiers. They stared at it as it rolled to them and when it stopped, it released a gas that had electricity, making them gasp for breath while being electrocuted. When they passed out, their bodies made a thud sound just outside the warden's office.

Warden: "Men? What's going on out there?"

Saren: "Captain, do you have control over the security room?"

Jeff had the soldiers in the security room at gun point while Emily was watching the security cameras.

Jack: "Affirmative. Warden's all yours." He replied on his radio.

Kaleb(Static): "After you." He says to Cal.

Warden: "Hello? Who's out there?"

The warden's door opens as Emily presses a button. Cal comes in with his swords and makes the warden drop down on the ground.

Cal(Caliber): "Your keycard, where is it?"

Warden: "What the?!- Who do you think you-"

Kaleb then kicks the warden's face.

Kaleb(Static): "Answer the question." He says with a more intimidating tone.

The warden slowly pulls out a keycard from his pockets and gives it to Cal.

Cal(Caliber): "Watch him."

As Kaleb and Saren keeps an eye on the warden, Cal finds a device that says "Insert here to open cells."

Cal(Caliber): "Captain, any word on Captain Samuels?"

Jack (Radio): "Hold on."

Jack: "Captain Samuels, are you ready?"

Dominic and his squad waits in the shadows as there were three soldiers talking to each other.

Dominic: "Ready."

Jack(Radio): "We're good to go."

Cal(Caliber): "Doing it now."

Cal inserts the keycard and presses a button. The cell block glows green as the cell doors open, Dominic's team takes out the soldiers and walks up to the workers, who had broken chains in their arms and legs.

Dominic: "We're with the G.A.P. Organization and we're here to help. Can you all fight?"

The people look around and nodded.

Worker 1: "Let's bust out of this place."

The workers cheer and then lead to find an exit. Emily spots Avalan Soldiers making their way to the cell block.

Emily(Ms. Nova): "Energy forces converging on Captain Dominic's team!"

Alan(Radio): "I can see them from here, opening fire."

Jack: "Team, head to cell block to aid in the evacuation of the civilians, Robin Hood your soldiers are cleared to attack."

Alan(Radio): "I've signaled them Captain. Let us take this base!"

BACK AT THE WARDEN'S OFFICE...

Warden: "You have no idea who you're dealing with." He said in a threatening tone.

Saren knocks him out with the butt of his rifle.

Saren: "Lets move out!"

Cal and Kaleb nod as they run out of the warden's office. As they do, they confront Avalan soldiers and deal with them as quick as they can while running. Saren covers on the front while Kaleb deals with the left and right flanks by throwing knives and gas grenades. Cal would deflect their bullets back at the soldiers from behind. As they made it to the outside, more soldiers were seen coming from the hallways.

Emily(Ms. Nova): "More coming in!"

AT THE WATCHTOWER...

Alan and Artemis were firing at the soldiers down below as Jack defended the civilians to be led out of the base by Dominic. Suddenly, they were getting shot from the side entrance.

Kai(Emerald Samurai): "I got these guys!"

Kai heads to down to confront a squad of Avalan soldiers. He would deflect their bullets back at two soldiers. He would slice a soldier in the chest and another in neck. He dodges a soldier's melee attack from behind and pierces his lower torso, killing him. Another soldier from behind tried to shoot Kai, but he uses another soldier as a human shield. He then throws his sword at the last soldier and finishes him by pulling out his sword kicking him down the mountain. Kai gives a thumbs up to Alan to continue firing.

Soon, The Rebels show up with bows and arrows and overwhelms the Avalan soldiers, which makes them surrender. Jack's team defended the civilians long enough for them to escape with Dominic's help. In the end, the base was captured and the Rebels celebrated. The civilians then decided to join the Rebels, seeing as they were being used as tools for the kingdom. The leaders and the two squads meet up on the watchtower.

Alan: "Good work everyone."

Dominic: "Just another day in the office." He chuckles after.

Jeff: "This was easy, heh heh."

Jack: "Even so, we can't underestimate our enemy."

Artemis: "Captain Jack is right, the regime will not take this attack lightly."

GAP Soldier 1: "I thought as much."

Emily(Ms. Nova): "Then they'll have a tough time taking it back."

Cal(Caliber): "All in all, I think that we did an amazing job. We keep this up, this operation might finished soon, and the people will have their freedom."

Everyone nods and smiles as they celebrated their victory. Alan walked to the top of the watchtower and looked at the castle of the king. He grit his teeth and squeezed on the railing.

Alan: "This is just the beginning...we will have our freedom." He said with determination.

Cal walked to a cliff and sat down in relief. He took off his helmet and takes a deep breath. He looks up to the night sky, where the moon shines brightly. He pulls out a picture with him and most of his family and friends. And him, standing beside Katelynn, who wore a bright smile. He smiled at the thought of her.

Cal(Caliber): "I hope we see each other again." He said as he looked back up at the moon.
