Ren: "My name is Ren, and I'm the Alpha here."

Some of the werewolves, both male and female, look at him and Cal to see what's happening.

Cal: "Hi Ren. I'm Cal, and I'm the human." Cal said jokingly.

Ren: "You think you're a funny guy huh? Still, why ARE you here?" He said again demanding an answer.

Cal: "Because my schedule says I'm supposed to be here. I don't know why exactly, I just am. Is there a problem?" Cal raises an eyebrow.

Ren: "This is MY class and this is MY pack, so you stay out of MY way...or else." He said as he got closer to Cal's face.

Cal: "That depends Ren, See I believe in free will. Something every sentient being is born with." He says as he stands up to Ren with a smile.

Some werewolves looked at Cal with some inspiration. Cal and Ren has an intense stare down until the werewolf teacher (Mr. Myers.) came in.

Mr. Myers: "You two, time is about to begin. Sit down."

Ren reluctantly sits down. The werewolf teacher clears his throat.

Mr. Myers: "As you may be aware, there is a student who is indeed a human. While this is such a rare occasion, we must behave ourselves around him. Young man, step up to present yourself."

Cal stood up where he got everyone's attention.

Cal: "Hello everyone, I'm Cal. I can see there are some of you here that clearly dislikes humans...and that's ok. I don't know exactly why I was sent here, but I wanna get to know each and every one of you in a friendly way. Hopefully we could be friends." Cal smiles a bit.

Few smile back while others either look emotionless or upset at the fact there is a human among them. Katelynn smiles at Cal.

Mr. Myers: "That will be all young man. Alright class, today we will be going over the history and customs of werewolves."

Cal's eyes widen.

Cal: 'I have a feeling this lesson will make them hate me more.' Cal thinks to himself.

Mr. Myers: "As most of you know, the social hierarchy of a pack is what maintains order, dictating who makes decisions, who mates with whom, who eats first and who eats last. The order is constantly reinforced by displays of dominance and submission. And as custom, the Omega bears the brunt of this behavior."

Cal looked at Katelynn as her wolf ears lowered in sadness. Cal was also feeling sad for her. The teacher kept talking.

Mr. Myers: "In most wolf packs, there will be an Alpha male and Alpha female. Sometimes there may be an Omega male and female, but there is only one." He says as he meant Katelynn.

Some look at her and chuckle. She looks down and covers herself with her tail. Cal became a little angry.

Mr. Myers: "Those that are titled as Omegas must obey the other werewolves, especially the Alpha...or will be beaten into submission. Now, we set our eyes on werewolf history."

The teacher explains the whole history of werewolves. He tells how werewolves were discovered by humans and how they would hunt them down and use them as slaves. Until some werewolves disappeared into a safe haven. Over time some werewolves befriended the humans and they coexisted with each other, even though there was still hatred amongst the two. Some glared at Cal as he was explaining all this. He also mentioned what werewolves and humanity has achieved together over time. Soon enough, class ended. Katelynn was about leave until Ren stood in her way.

Ren: "Where do you think you're going?" He smirks.

Katelynn: "I-I'm going t-to my l-locker..." She says as she was afraid.

Ren: "So you wrote all the notes we needed to write?"

Katelynn slowly nods.

Ren: "Hand them over. See I wasn't paying attention so much, so I'll need to take your notes."

Katelynn's eyes widen as she slowly gives him her notes.

Ren: "Good dog, now go." Ren Chuckles as he leaves.

Katelynn shakes before falling down in her knees. Cal saw her fall as he was packing up and ran to her.

Cal: "Are you ok?" Cal asks worriedly.

Katelynn: "Y-Yeah...I'm fine...I have to go." She says as she runs away with tears in her eyes.

Cal reached out to her. He then turned his attention to the teacher.

Cal: "Sir I'm just gonna be direct, is there something you have against humans?" He asks in a calm tone.

Mr. Myers: "...Humans have hunted my kind, made them into slaves, and drove them into isolation. My great grandfather was the one who helped befriend the humans. I do not hate humans, and I have no ill will towards you. The past is that...an old one. But I would be lying if I said I expected a human to enter my class ever."

Cal: "I'm sorry my kind did that to yours, I really am. I just hope I can find a way to help build a positive relationship with werewolves and humans."

Mr. Myers: "...You remind me of male werewolf I befriended long ago. Bah, that's a story for another time. Maybe you'll get your wish Cal. Just be careful with the other werewolves. I may be a teacher, but I'm bound to the werewolf customs."

Cal nods and then smiles.

Cal: "Bye Mr. Myers."

Mr. Myers waves goodbye.

Mr. Myers: "So...he's the one eh Sam?" He says to himself chuckles. "I'll keep my promise..."

Cal runs to go find Katelynn and finds Ren talking to his friends. (Also these werewolves are not the same ones from before. I'll name them later.)

Ren: "I've got that Omega's notes so easily, it was like taking candy from a baby." He chuckles.

Male werewolf 1: "Heh, nice job Alpha."

Male werewolf 2: "Yeah, nice going Alpha."

Ren: "Heh heh, have you two seen my Charlotte?"

Male werewolf 2: "Yes Alpha, she's at the courtyard."

Ren: "Good, I'll be heading there now. Go."

They leave. Ren pulls out Katelynn's notes.

Ren: "Yeah right, like I actually need these anyway, heh heh!" He says as he throws it in the trash.

Cal went over to the trash can and grabbed the notebook.

Cal: "Looks like it's still in good condition." Cal said as he smiled.

He left to go find Katelynn and accidentally bumps into Sky.

Sky: "Hey! Watch where you're- oh hey Cal!" She says as she smiles.

Cal: "Hey Sky, Sorry I bumped into you."

Sky: "It's fine, what are you doing?"

Cal: "I'm looking for my friend Katelynn."

Sky: "Katelynn? I've been looking for her too! Im her best friend and I was trying to find where she was."

Cal: "Let's try to find her together."

Sky nods and they try to look for her. They look in some places in the school before looking in the bathroom.

Sky: "Stay here."

Cal nods as he waits for her. She comes out with Katelynn who was still sad.

Sky: "It's going to be ok."

Katelynn: "Things will never be ok...it's so hopeless. I'll always be an Omega."

Sky: "Ren...I swear one of these days I'll..." She sighs as she tries to comfort Katelynn.

Katelynn looks at Cal.

Katelynn: "Looks like you've seen how the pack treats me...guess you don't want to hang out with now huh?"

Cal shakes his head.

Cal: "I don't think that at all. I still want to be your friend."

Cal pulls out Katelynn's notebook. Katelynn was surprised as she looked at him.

Cal: "He threw it in the trash can. Even if he still had it, I would've gotten it back for you. Here ya go." Cal smiles.

Cal gives Katelynn her notebook and she smiles brightly with some new tears forming. She suddenly hugs Cal and cries.

Katelynn: "Thank you..."

Cal hugs back.

Cal: "Everyone needs a friend."

Sky smiles and opens her arms.

Sky: "Group hug!"

Sky hugs the two of them and lifts them up in the air. They all laugh together.

Later Cal, Sky and Katelynn meet up with Andrew, Jay and Helena.

Andrew: "You're starting to lose your speed Cal, heh heh."

Cal: "You wish you, slow poke!"

Jay was talking to Helena and Helena was smiling as he talked to her. Cal and Andrew look at them.

Andrew: "They haven't stopped talking to each other since school ended."

Cal: "How cute, heh heh." Cal smiles

Sky's parents were there in the car.

Sky: "My parents are here, come on Katelynn. We'll drop you home."

Katelynn: "Ok, give me a sec."

Katelynn walks towards Cal.

Katelynn: "Thanks for the help Cal, it means a lot."

Cal: "It was my pleasure to help Kat. Let me know if you need something."

Katelynn smiles and gives Cal a small piece of paper.

Katelynn: "See ya tomorrow!" She says as she goes with Sky in the car.

Cal waves goodbye at them and opens the piece of paper to find Katelynn's phone number.

Andrew: "So, Who's she?" He teases Cal.

Cal: "Don't you start with me now. I saw you looking at Sky."

Andrew: "I don't know what you're talking about."

Jay and Helena finish talking as Helena leaves with her Neko friends. Both Cal and Andrew look at him with a sly smile.

Jay: "D-Don't look at me like that! W-We were just having a normal conversation!"

Andrew: "I bet." He nods

Jay: "It's true!"

Cal: "Uh huh." He smiles

Jay: "S-Shut up!" He blushes as he walks past them.

They all walk together back to their houses. Cal enters home.

Cal: "I'm home."

Cal's mother: "Welcome home! How was school?"

Cal: "It was good actually. I think this school will be fun!"

Cal's mother smiled.

Cal's mother: "Good I'm glad! I made dinner so eat up!"

Cal: "Thanks mom."

Cal eats dinner, relaxes for awhile, finishes homework, and goes to his room to sleep. Cal then pulled out his phone to text Katelynn good night.

Katelynn responded, 'Good night to you too! See you tomorrow!'

Cal smiles before drifting asleep.
