Ren smiles while a dark figure radiates off of him into a physical form.

Ren: "Well...let's fight."

The dark figure runs at Cal with claws reaching out. Cal starts dodging its rapid attacks while trying to find a opening to strike. There was a opening and Cal used his sword to horizontally slash the dark figure in half. It regenerated itself back together.

Cal: "What?! It regenerates itself?

Dark Ren: "What your fighting is literally my dark spirit. Even if you cut it in half, you won't be able to land a scratch on me!"

Cal was grabbed by the dark figure and it threw him against a wall, leaving a small crater. Cal looked at Ren and ran towards him, but the dark figure appeared in front of Cal, defending Ren from Cal's attack.

Cal: 'This thing is just too fast for me to land a blow on Ren!'

Cal jumped back.

Dark Ren: "I should probably give my spirit a name...hmm, I say I'll call it 'Apocalypse." He says as he smiles.

Cal: "You gave your dark spirit a name? Doesn't matter, I won't let you get away!"

Cal runs towards Ren and Apocalypse ran towards Cal.

AT THE SCHOOL COURTYARD...

The Sky was dark and cloudy, signifying that it was about to rain. Eric and Quill have been fighting for a long time, inflicting some damage to each other.

Eric: "Just give up!"

Quill: "Not...a chance!"

They charge at each other and clash. They both both continued to trade blows. Quill kicked Eric to the ground and jumped up in the air to stab him. Quill only got him by the cheek...and Eric stabbed Quill in the chest. Quill grits his teeth as blood starts spilling out of his mouth. Rain starts falling down upon them. Quill stagers back with the knife in his chest.

Eric: "I...got...you." He says before passing out.

Quill struggles to stand as he holds on to the knife. He drops his sword and walks down the hallway while blood was dripping from his chest. He begins walking upstairs slowly.

UNDERGROUND...

Cal continues to trade blows with Ren's spirit, but barely makes a scratch on Ren himself.

Cal: 'This isn't working! This thing just won't stop regenerating! I have to figure something out before things get worse!' He thinks to himself.

Dark Ren: "Curious...why do you care about the Omega? I mean, there's nothing about her that makes her so special, but you and many of her so called 'friends' actually want to protect her. Why?" He says with a smile.

Cal: "It's because she has a good heart...a heart worth protecting. I value all life because everyone is precious to someone. My friends are precious to me, which is why I'll always fight to protect them!"

Ren's eyes widen a bit.

Dark Ren: "How foolish...those friends will end up leaving you behind in the dust. They'll only slow you down."

Apocalypse ran towards Cal. Cal's electricity starts surging into his swords.

Cal: "Don't underestimate...the power of friendship!"

Cal sliced the dark spirit in half and it shrieks in pain. Ren widen his eyes.

Dark Ren: "That slash?!"

Cal: 'That worked?' Cal thought to himself.

Cal slagged it again twice and it recoiled in pain.

Cal: 'It takes damage from a strong source of light!'

Cal then thought an idea an Ran to the elevator.

Dark Ren: "You won't escape me!" He said as he chased after Cal.

BACK ON THE ROOF...

Katelynn was waiting patiently for Cal to return as she was helping the other werewolves rest after they woke up from their hold from Ren's influence. Jay and Helena ran to the rooftop in a other entrance. They ran towards Katelynn.

Jay: "Katelynn, where's Cal?"

Katelynn: "He went down the secret elevator to fight Ren. He's been down there for awhile now."

Jason and Sky jumped up to the rooftop and met up with Katelynn.

Jason: "All of the students and staff are away from harm!"

Sky: "Now we just need to end this now!"

A figure appeared on the rooftop.

Jay: "It's you..." He says surprised.

Static: "Where's Cal?" He said with some concern.

Before anyone could answer, an explosion occurs where the secret elevator was and Cal jumps away from the smoke of the explosion. He lands on his face while facing away from his friends. Dark Ren walks through the smoke and his eyes glowed Red. Apocalypse radiated out of Ren's body. The others were surprised about what they just saw.

Jason: "W-What is that thing?"

Static: "It's Ren's Dark Spirit...he must've absorbed the dark crystal from the chamber."

Static walked towards Cal and stood beside him.

Cal: "Kaleb?"

Static: "Hello brother. Not easy when you're fighting a tough opponent huh?"

Cal: "Heh, it wouldn't be so fun if it wasn't. But I can't let him win, I'll save the people I care about!"

Kaleb smiled behind the mask. He pulled out two golden knives.

Static: "Let me have a go at him."

Cal: "Are you sure?"

Static: "If it looks like I'm having trouble, you can come over and help me."

Cal nods and goes back with the rest of his friends.

Dark Ren: "So...you're here."

Static: "Yeah, I'm here to kill you."

Dark Ren: "Heh heh, you're welcome to try Static."

They both begin to clash at each other as the others watch. Sky looks behind her as she heard something.

Sky: "Hey, is that Quill?!"

Sky says as they look to see Quill on the rooftop with the knife still in his chest. Quill falls to his knees. Cal's eyes widen and he runs quickly to Quill's aid.

Cal: "Quill!" He says as he tries to help Quill.

Quill: "C-Cal..." He says weakly.

Cal: "Don't speak, just hold on. Someone go find help!"

Jason/Sky: "On it!" They said as they jump off the rooftop.

The others run to Cal and Quill.

Jay: "Who did this to you?"

Quill: "It...was another werewolf. He...I think it was Eric..."

Cal: "Just hold on Quill!"

Quill: "It's too late...I'm losing too much blood." He says before he coughs.

Helena holds on to Jay.

Cal: "No...I..."

Quill: "Cal...I have one last request...as your friend..." He says as he grabs on to Cal's armor.

Cal leans close to Quill's mouth.

Quill: "Protect everyone as much as you can... and tell Alice...I love...her..."

He says...before he died. Katelynn started to tear up. Jay closed his eyes as he looked down. Cal said nothing as he slowly laid down. The rain fell onto Quill's motionless body. Cal closed Quill's eyes shut.

Static and Apocalypse were fighting each other as Static continues to slash at it with his electric knives. He threw several knives in different directions, but the Dark Spirit deflected all of them. Static then ran up close to Ren and sliced him by the chest. Without Static noticing, he was left wide open from behind and Apocalypse scratched Static.

Dark Ren: "Die!" He says as Apocalypse was about to smash Static with it's fists.

A lightning bolt struck Apocalypse away from Static. Everyone looks to see where it came from.

Static: "He's finally awakened it..."

Cal's body was surging with electricity, but this time he looked different.

His eyes and veins were glowing blue, his mouth grew out fangs, and his hair turned blue. Everyone was surprised.

Katelynn: "Cal...?"

Cal let out a yell in anger and ran towards Ren. Apocalypse ran in front of Cal in defense of Ren, but Cal cut off it's right arm with his bare hands. Cal turned around and lunged at Apocalypse, but it grabbed him and threw him away. Cal was on all fours as he skid on the ground. It regenerated it's right arm back. Cal stood up and began removing pieces of his armor from the legs and arms.

Katelynn: "W-What's he doing?"

Jay: "I get it...in order to get more speed, he'll need to remove parts of his armor. However, that leaves some of himself open to serious injuries."

The rain continues to fall more and more. Cal growls as he gets prepares to fight. Static returns to the others.

Jay: "You're not going to help him?" He asked as he was concerned about Cal.

Static: "Cal just entered his Wolf Awakening mode. This is his first time, so I'm not supposed to get in the way."

Katelynn: "But how did he become a werewolf? He's said he was human!"

Static: "Cal and I...are on the sons of a legendary family breed of Werewolves. He never knew." He said with a smile underneath his mask.

Cal runs towards Apocalypse with faster speed and cut off its left arm. Cal then runs back and does a front flip in order to dodge its attack. Cal grabs its right arm and rips it off while jumping away.

Dark Ren: 'This speed! My Dark Spirit can't dodge it!'

Transformed Cal: "Begone, you Evil Entity!"

Cal then runs super fast towards the Evil spirit and punches it at the chest and it flew back into Ren's body. The recoil sent Ren over the edge and he was about got fall, but Cal caught him by the shirt. Rem reverted back into his normal form. Most of the werewolves looked at Cal and Ren.

Werewolf male: "He saved us..."

Werewolf female: "He Defeated the Alpha..."

Katelynn: "He...he did it." She said with a small smile.

Ren looks at Cal as Cal stared back with his eyes glowing a bit.

Ren: "Looks like you've won..." Rem said with a emotionless tone.

Cal continued to stare at Ren.

Ren: "What are you waiting for? Finish me..."

Transformed Cal: "No. I know that you weren't always like this. Something must've happened to make you like this."

Ren grits his teeth.

Ren: "What do you know? What could you possibly know anything about me?! You never even took the time to know me!"

Transformed Cal: "You never gave me a chance! All you ever did was show everyone fear!"

Ren glared at Cal. Ren sighs.

Ren: "You just love playing hero don't you? You might think it'll be an easy job. You'd be a fool to think so."

Transformed Cal: "You think I don't know that? A hero's duty is never an easy job, but I'm willing to do what it takes."

Ren: "You really...are an idiot...the smartest thing you could can do now is finish me!"

Before Cal could say anything, a knife was thrown at Ren, but Cal saw it coming and he caught it. However, Cal accidentally dropped Ren into a river. Static was the one who threw the knife.

Transformed Cal: "Why would you do that?!"

Static: "What? He was a clear threat and talking to him wasn't get you anywhere. He might as well be dead."

Transformed Cal: "He was supposed to face his actions!"

Static shrugs, as if he really didn't care about killing Ren.

Static: "Well my job here is done...later." He says as he then jumps off the rooftop and disappears.

Cal transforms back into his normal self and falls on one knee. Katelynn comes running towards him and hugs him tightly.

Katelynn: "You scared me really badly you know!" She says with eyes tearing up.

Cal: "Ow, Yeah."

Jason and Sky came with the other members of Bravo Company. That's when...Alice saw Quill. She came running to his side and checked his pulse. Her eyes widened as she started to cry. Bella and Oliver came up from the stairs of the roof holding on to their ribs to see their squad leader dead on the floor. Zach closed his eyes and he looked down. Bella went to comfort Alice.

Sky: "We...were too slow."

Emily: "No...it's not your fault."

Cal looked down in sadness as he walked over to Alice.

Cal: "I'm sorry Alice..."

Helena hugged Jay and he hugged back.

Alice: "Did...he say anything before he..?"

Cal: "...He told me to tell you...he loved you."

Alice got up and hugged Cal, which surprised him.

Alice: "Thank you..."

A few minutes later, Cal and the others are being treated for their injuries. Most of the werewolves were taken by the police and were questioned. They tried to look for Eric and Ren...but neither of them were found in their last locations. Weeks passed by and the school was being rebuilt. Cal was at the forest near his training field was. Mr. Myers was watching him from afar.

Cal: " Quill...I promise I'll protect them. As your friend, I'll protect them with my life."

Cal then looked up with a smile of determination.

With that, Cal walked back to the barracks to get more rest. His promise was a promise not only to Quill, but to Cal as well. He promised to protect his friends to the end.
