Chapter 4 • Good

Two months have passed since that day. The day Achnologia came, the day Zeref and I realised our love for each other. Now I just want to have forever on my mom's island with the man I love. We both knew that we would be happy as long as we have each other. Lately Zeref hasn't been having the random bursts of Death Magic which I think is a good sign that he's becoming happier. I mean, yeah his magic doesn't affect me, but think about other organisms on this island. It hurts them. Zeref almost constantly wore a smile, it felt amazing know I made him happy. Knowing I made him feel alive again.

Today I was going to kiss him again, but with more love. But I didn't want to push him. I didn't want to push myself. I was scared. Last time we kissed it was the heat of the moment. Ever since then we haven't really kissed. Sure a few pecks here and there but nothing like our first one.

Acnologia said he would visit me again soon, right now I'm hoping it's in a month because I still have yet to master a more advanced spell. I sunk down into the pond further so my chest was submerged. "Gonna join me Zeref?" I turned around and pressed myself against the bank.

"Why not?" I nodded and turned back around keeping myself covered. Once Zeref had stripped of his clothes (including his boxers) he stepped in where I couldn't see him. We weren't ready to 'completely' show ourselves to each other. He walked over next to me and slumped to my height. "What's up?"

I fell on my back panting and sweating. Zeref chuckled then helped me up and kissed me. I smiled then smiled more because there was a certain scent near me. I pulled away and turned to the direction that Acnologia was coming from. I could see the outline of his wings and body flying closer. Zeref held me close to him and smiled with me as my dragon landed in front of us allowing me to pet his head.

"Hello Acnologia, you know Zeref, correct?" I asked gesturing towards my boyfriend.

"Indeed I do. Nice to see him again. Why do you ask my dear?" Acnologia spoke.

"We are dating, have been for two months." A smile formed on his face and his eyes lightened up.

"That's wonderful! I hope it works out." I nodded in agreement. "Listen, I have to go, I'll see you both in a few months, okay?"

"Okay Acnologia." With that he left and Zeref and I watched him before going back to the tent and relaxing in it and snuggling each other to keep us warm. "I love you Zeref."

"I love you too... F/N."
