Nico POV

I woke up to loud chatter downstairs. Ugh. I thought I told Hazel no inviting people over in the morning. I quickly brushed my teeth and washed my face before going downstairs. I was greeted by a tackle that resulted in me almost falling and my small figure being crushed by a certain blonde haired, blue eyed teen. "Jason...please get off....you're squishing me.."

He released me and smiled at me. "I missed you. Did you get taller? Are you eating properly? You look skinnier than I remember. You seriously need a haircut."

He inspected a lock of my hair.

"I tried to tell him." said Leo from the background.

I swatted Jason's hand away from my head. He mocked looking hurt. "Sorry. I just.... Urgh" He made frustrated gestures around me."just...yeah." I glared at him.

Then I looked around seeing who else was there. Piper came up from behind Jason and hugged me."You okay?"

I gave her a confused look. She nodded her head towards Percy and Annabeth.

My eyes went wide and I gave Jason an accusing glance. He raised his hands in defense."I didn't do anything."

"He didn't tell me anything. I kinda figured it out myself. The way you always look at him. At first I thought it was Annabeth. But then I saw you were only giving her envious looks." Her seemingly multicolored eyes twinkled with sincerity."Don't worry, I'm not against it or anything." She smiled.

I nodded my head, feeling pathetic. Percy was just...too perfect for me and it's not like he's into guys. Even if he was, it's not like he'd like ME of all people. I'm just the creepy loner.

"Don't say that about yourself, Nico! Stop putting yourself so down. You have a bunch of amazing friends who love you!" said Jason.

What...? How did he...dammit! My face flushed as I realised I voiced my thoughts. I looked down and saw that I was only wearing a plain black tank top and batman boxer shorts. If possible, my face got even redder.

"Uh..I-I'm gonna go cha-"I was interrupted by yet another one of my amazing friends *note sarcasm*.

"Hiya Neeky!" said Percy cheerily as he swung his arm around my shoulders. Jason waggled his eyebrows at me. I shuffled around awkwardly and mumbled "Hey..." Get your arm off meeee. I felt heat crawl up my neck, again threatening to cover my face.

"How you doing? Nice summer so far?" Percy asked. I saw Jason roll his eyes as I held back one of my own eye rolls.
"Peachy." I replied, sarcasm dripping from my voice like a waterfall. But Percy, being the oblivious little shit that he is, smiled and ruffled my already screwed up hair.

Why does he treat me like a little child?

"Yeah umm... I'm going to go upstairs to change into something a little more... appropriate."

He glanced at what I was wearing and giggled. I ducked under his arm and jogged upstairs. I heard Jason's voice saying, "Bro, did you just giggle!?" followed by Percy protesting about how every man has an inner girl within them and that they should embrace it and a bunch of other meaningless stuff that made absolutely no sense at all.

It was only 10am and wasn't that hot right now so I slipped on a pair of black jeans and left my tank top on.

I went downstairs and helped Hazel feed everyone who was there. That was basically Jason, Piper, Percy, Annabeth, Leo, Frank, and of course, Hazel and I.

I ordered some pizza because I didn't feel like making any and Hazel got the the tortilla chips and sauce to eat while they're waiting.

Everyone dug in and Hazel decided to put on a movie. I sat on the ground by the sofa, not really interested in the movie, which was Lion King. I mean who hasn't seen it?

I took out my phone and put my earphones in listening to whatever song was on, which just so happened to be I Bet my Life. I did that for a bit, sitting in my own little world.

I ate some tortilla chips and looked at the screen for a while. This was the part where Mufasa falls off the edge.

I looked over at Hazel who had tears in her eyes while Frank had his arm wrapped around her. I smiled warmly at them. I'm glad she has him even though I'd never admit it.

Th e doorbell rang and I got up and answered the door. It was the pizza guy. I paid the guy and took the boxes into the rec room where they were watching the movie.

"Pizza's here."
