Jace's appointment

Gabby's pov
I wake up to Jace in Mats arms. I didn't sleep well Jace kept me up most of the night. I guess Mat was letting me get more sleep. "Hey you two how are my handsome boys doing this morning?" I say kissing Mat then giving Jace a kiss on the forehead. "What time is his appointment today" Mat asks. "It's at 11 so we should get up soon if we wanna make it on time. I was thinking that we could go grab lunch after words " I say
"I like that idea." Mat says. We get up, get ready and head out. Once at the doctor's we check in. About 15 minutes later the nurse calls us back. "Alright let's weigh him and see how long he is
You can place him on the scale. Hes 10 lb 5oz and 22 inches long. Doctor will be in shortly. We don't wait long for the doctor to show up. " hi I'm doctor Emily Brooks. It's nice to meet you guys " she says. "I'm gabby this is Mat and this cutie pie is Jace " I say. "Well from the looks of it hes healthy seems to be growing and gaining well. Do you have any questions for me? She asks. "I think we're good" Mat says. She tells us we're finished and that we should make out 2 month appointment. Me make the appointment and head out to lunch.
