At the hospital.

Sylvie's pov
We arrive at the hospital and transfer the man over to there care. After handing the man off I rush over to the front desk. "I need an updated on lieutenant Severide please." I ask in a panic. "He just got here I don't have an update yet. You can wait in the waiting room and there's an update I'll give it to you. She says as I turn and head to the waiting room. When i get there all of 51 is there. I take a seat next to Casey. " hes going to be just fine." He says. About 15 minutes later which feels like an eternity a nurse comes out. "family of Severide" she says. We all stand and walk over. "He suffered some brain swelling and a few broken ribs. Hes awake now and can have one visitor at a time. Room 120. " she says as I rush past her and down the hall. I burst into his room full on crying. I run into his arms and sob into his chest "careful. I'm okay baby I'm okay stop crying I'm fine" he says "I thought I lost you. I saw you flying throw the air. I stood helpless. I was so scared." I say between sobs. "Come here lay next to me just be careful" he says as he scoots over. Shay walks in and walks over " so glad your okay man. Don't scare us like that." She says giving him a hug. We talk the three of us for for a while when the nurse walks in. "I'm sorry only one visitor at a time please " she says "can we please have two I don't wanna leave his side. I can't" I say sobbing again "please I'm feeling pretty good" Severide says. Alright but if I feel the need I'll bring it down back to one visitor okay " the nurse says. "Thanks" I say. I sit with Kelly for hours while people come in and visit. I don't care that people see us together. I can't leave his side. I finally head home for the night after Severide tells me to go and get rest and that I will see him in the am.
