At the firehouse

Dawson's pov
Casey and I walk hand in hand into the firehouse. I'm so excited I can't contain the smile on my face. The second we walk in to the common room I shout "we're engaged!" Showing everyone the ring. "Congratulations" Herrmann says "that's amazing congrats" Shay says. Congratulations Dawson and Casey Casey can i see you in my office. Chief says. Casey gives me a kiss and heads off

Casey's pov
"What's up chief." I say "you have a new candidate starting today." They'll be here in an hour. That's all you may go back to work." He says I thank him and head out. I head back to the common room "listen up everybody we have a new candidate starting today and will be here I an hour. About an hour later the new candidate shows up. " hi I'm Roberts Dylan Roberts." He says shaking my hand "welcome I'm lieutenant Casey. Let me introduce you to everyone then head to go see the chief. I introduce him to everyone and they all welcome him like family. Gabby walks up to us and I introduce them. Gabby has a look on her face that I don't like. I'll ask her about it later. I take the candidate to see the chief. "Come in Casey" chief says. Hey chief I wanna introduce you to the new candidate. Roberts." I say "nice to meet you Roberts. Hope you feel welcome." Chief says. I'm just about finished with taking Roberts on a tour of the house when the alarm goes off.
