Casey's pov
I left gabby at home she wanted to stay in bed longer. I let her. She needs as much sleep as she can get but she will be by later to make dinner and spend the night. Her nightmares have been getting less and less these days which Is good. I really think the therapist is helping. I'm in my office doing paper work when I see severide walk by. "hey man you got a sec to chat?" I ask. "yeah man what's up?" He says walking into my office. I wanna talk to you about gabby I wanna propose to her this weekend do you think shay would be willing to keep her buys during the day while you help me set it up?" I ask "yeah she'd be happy to. What time do you want her to take gabby. They can do a girls day at the spa with Sylvie." He asks "how about 11 am" I say "works great have you gotten the ring yet" he says. I'm doing that after shift wanna come with?" I say. " thanks man id love that" he says as he heads off. I get back to my paper work when the alarm goes off

Ambulance 61 truck 81 squad three someone trapped on an elevator. 86 Crest view drive.

I stop what im doing and run out to the rig. I hop in and we take off. We arrive on scene and the elevator is stuck on the 5th floor we have to act quick because theres a lady in there that's water just broke. My men and I walk up to the 5th floor as the paramedics follow behind. Otis pries the doors open and we are able to get to the lady.

Shays pov
The elevator is finally open. We rush to the lady and help her into the stair chair. She's not that far along as far as we can tell. " lets get her loaded on the chair then down to the stretcher " I say. We get her down the stairs as fast as we can. Sylvie pulls the stretcher out and we load her up and take her to Chicago med. We get there and hand her off. On our way back I ask Sylvie about her and severide. "hows it going with severide he spent the night when you were sick?" I say " hes great I really think we have a future. I can see myself and him with kids. Its crazy." She says " why crazy" I ask "because I don't know what I did to deserve him. I love him so much. She says as we pull back into the station.
