Back at home

Casey's pov
We finish dinner and I head up to paint the nursery. It's this pretty light blue gray color. Very calming. It will go great with the furniture. I'm finishing up one wall when gabby walks in and helps with the second wall. "It looks great Mat I love it. I think one wall is all I have energy for. But I'll stay and boss the job. " she says. "It's get late you should go to bed I'll be there shortly I'm almost done here" I say

Gabby's pov
I'm laying in bed waiting for Mat. 15 minutes later Mat pulls back the covers, hops in, wraps his arms around my waist and pulls me in. "I love you so much Gabby" he says into my ear it makes me feel wild. "I love you to Casey always have always will always and forever. Let's get some sleep." I say. I'm restless all night. At one point I start crying. Mat hears me and wakes up. "Baby what's wrong?" He says rubbing my back. "I just hate that I'm still having nightmares and can't sleep." Come here you have another appointment with Dr Thomas soon so it will get better. Lay your head down on my chest and get some sleep." Mat says.

Casey's pov
"You didn't sleep well last night did you. You were restless all night in my arms. Let me go get breakfast and I'll call you down when ready. Oh by the way Severide is coming over to help with the baby's room. It's now after lunch I hear the doorbell ring. " hey man glad you can come over to help "I say to him as I open the door. " hey gabby how you doing?" Severide asks. I'm okay tired I didn't sleep well." She says. "Babe you look exhausted go take a nap. Severide and I will be setting up the baby's room.
