Dawson's pov
"How is everything going are we sleeping better yet?" The doctor asks. "To be honest no. I know it's not good for the baby but I'm trying. It's just hard when Mats not home. I know I have to get rest for the baby. " I say "well let's take a look at the baby are we wanting to find out the gender today?" She asks. "Yes" Mat and I both reply as I pull up my shirt and she puts gel on my stomach. "The baby is looking healthy. Growing at a good rate. I know since I saw you in the ER the doctor told you to take off work have you done so?" She asks. "Yes I have" I say "that's good it will help the baby have less stress. Alright lets see if we can find out s gender. Ah I found out. You guys ready?" "Yep" Mat and I say as he grabs my hand with the other hand that's not on my shoulder. "Congratulations it's a boy." She says. "It's a boy Mat. Where having a boy. I say with teary eyes. " I'm so happy. "Me too babe your gonna make a great mom. " Mat says. "And you'll make a great dad." I say. We finish up and head home.
