At the hospital

Casey's pov
I rush in to the front desk. "status on Gabriela Dawson please." I ask. The lady is typing something on her desk. She looks up from it and asks " Relationship to the patient" "she is my girlfriend we work at the same firehouse" I say. " Gabriela Dawson is doing just fine. She is in Room 204. The doctor should be in later to give you an update." She says. I thank her and I run down to her room. I see her through the window she doesn't look to bad just a few bruise. I rush in and run over to her, kiss her and give her a big hug. She has tears running down her face as she scoots over so that there is room for me on the bed. "Shhh shhh its okay you're safe now. I've got you." I say as she cries into my chest. I hold her in my arms and let her cry it out. I'm always going to be here for her no matter what happens. About 3 hours later the doctor come. Good afternoon Gabby. I have some good news for you. I feel that you are good enough to be released later tonight.
