At the firehouse

Dawson's pov
I arrive at the firehouse and go change out. After that I head to chief's office to tell him the good news if Casey. I walk in and ask if we can gather everyone in the conference room. "Everyone please head to the conference room Dawson has some news." Chief said. We walk into the conference room. "What's the news Dawson?" Herrmann says. "I've got news on Casey's I went to see him this morning and he is awake and doing well." I say. That's great I hear them all say. "Alright let's get back to work." Chief says. "Hey Dawson can you help me stock the rig you guys go through a lot more stuff then I'm use to." Brett says as we exit the conference room. It's a pretty chill day at work so far I'm about to make dinner for everyone when the alarm goes off.

Ambulance 61 truck 81 squad 3 car fire Harlem Ave.

Herrmann's pov
Since Casey's still in the hospital I'm acting lieutenant. We arrive on scene and there's a car that hit the curb and it's leaking oil and on fire. "Hit it" I order my men. I see that no one was in the car at the time that is was on fire. We find the driver sitting on the curb in shock. "We need a paramedic over here the drive is in shock. " I say over the radio. "On my way" Shay says as she, Brett and Dawson jog up. The three of them load the driver in the ambo and head to the hospital while we finish up here. I tell the men we are going to stop by the hospital and see Casey before going back to the house. We park the truck out front and all hop out and walk into his room. " hey guys this is a surprise I'm glad you're hear." Casey says. "Well Dawson told us you were awake so we decided to stop by after our last call.

Casey's pov.
It was so nice that the guys stop by to see me. They didn't stay long they had to get back to work. About 10 mins after they left the doctor walks in and says that I will be discharged in two days. I'm so excited that I'll be going home. " you'll being going him in 2 days. But can't go back to work for another 2 weeks. I'll fax over the paperwork to your firehouse" The doctor says. He leaves and I text Dawson the good news. "That's great sweetie I'm glad they're letting you out. I'll stop by tomorrow after shift" she replies back.
