4 days later

Dawson's pov
Casey's still in the hospital. I go and visit him every chance I get. Today I decide I would go check on him before shift. I plan on spending an hour with him. I park and walk up to his room. Last I heard he was still in the comma. Im about to walk in when the doctor walks out. "I have good news Casey's awake and asking for you. " the doctor says. I'm so happy I walk in with a huge smile on my face. I run over to him and give him a big kiss. " I was so worried about you I'm so glad that you're awake." I say in-between kisses. He scoots over so that I can lay with him. He wraps his arms around me and I settle in. "I can't stay long just an hour. I'm on shift" I say. "How's the new paramedic is she nice what's she like?" Casey asks. She's great I really like her ive only seen her on one call she froze for a second when we first got there but after I snapped her out of it she was great." We talk for a while more and then I leave so I'm not late for shift.
