Honeymoon

Severide's pov
I didn't tell Sylvie where our honeymoon would be. I kept it a secret. She's been beginning me to tell her. I takes us two flights to get there. We arrive at our layover flight. "Kelly where we going? Tell me please." She begs. "Alright look at your ticket." I say she looks at her ticket. "Colorado?" She says "I rented us this amazing cabin surrounded by trees and a lake. It's cozy and romantic" I say pulling her into me. I give her a kiss and we board the plane. Once there we head to the cabin. "Awe Kelly it's perfect. How long we here for. We don't have much time off to take." I say kinda worried. He takes me into his embrace. "We are staying a week. I cleared it with Chief we can still keep our days off he said this of this as part of his wedding gift." I say to her. Its been about three days now. We spend a lot of the time outside its the perfect weather during the day then at night it's perfect for an evening Fire. Normal Sylvie makes dinner but tonight I'm surprising her. I'm making our favorite. Orange chicken with fried rice. We love Chinese food. It's one thing I'm really good at cooking. Sylvie walks into the kitchen to start making dinner. "Nah nah I'm making dinner Tonight you can drink a beer and watch me cook." I say. About 30 minutes later dinner is ready. "Dinner smells amazing Kelly I love when you cook this." She say "I was thinking fire after dinner. We could put on some music and just relax." I say while we eat. After dinner I start the fire it's nice that it's a gas fire all I have to do is flick a switch.

Sylvie's pov
We sit in on the couch and I curl up in Kelly's arms. "This is the perfect honeymoon. Thanks for the surprise." I say leaning up to kiss him. We sit and talk about the wedding and how much fun we had. What was your favorite part of the wedding?" Kelly asks me. "Our first dance. What about yours? " I ask him "Seeing your beautiful self walk down the aisle. You looks absolutely breathtaking" he says to me "thank you babe you looked hot yourself. " I say as leans in and kisses me passionately. That one little kiss turns in something much more as our clothes are scattered everywhere as the rest of the night becomes a blur.
